If I could give a 6 I would. YRC did everything right for me and I am a paranoid, over questioning customer. This was my first shipment by truck and I had heard and read some horror stories. I contacted a couple of the online freight brokers and prices were so varying that I was scared to death. One gave me great quotes online but then would call to confirm everything and start raising the prices. Sometimes more than double. And the weight class system seems to be totally arbitrary. Finally I found YRCs website and requested a dimensional quote. It was a very good quote but I was still afraid they would get me somehow. I called customer service 4 times and every time I spoke with a real intelligent helpful person. Each time I was reassured there would be no surprises. Well, Last week I dropped off the shipment in Piedmont, SC and was thoroughly amazed at how positive and simple the experience was. Today (6 days later) it was delivered across the country to the residential address with liftgate delivery, on time and in perfect condition. This experience was as good as I could have ever imagined. THANK YOU, YRC! And special thanks to the three customer service people that answered all my questions with great patience, sorry the only one I remember the name was Roxanne. The other two gentleman were just as helpful and patient.
