Went by last December. All I did was drive thru the lot with my parents to look at what they had as I was shopping around and price checking all over Columbia for a used car after being in an total loss accident a month prior. I already knew what car I wanted and was comparing prices at different dealers. First red flag: as soon as you drive onto the lot, salesmen are there to follow you or stop you and convince you to come inside. I made the mistake of getting out of my car to see one I had interest in up close and to see if it had a listed price on it. Second red flag: I was met by a salesperson who didnt even know what kind of car I was talking about when I brought up make and model. Third red flag: no price was visibly listed on the exterior of the car, and I was forced to go inside to get a price. I asked for a Carfax while in there also and it took 20 minutes to get a print out. Car price ended up being above my price range and I made that clear immediately. At that point I wanted to leave because I was hungry and tired after test driving cars all morning. I had no intention to buy a car that day from anyone and also made that very clear. I stupidly gave them my contact info and now over a month later theyre still calling and bothering me about a car that I have already told them is over my price range. I find it a little funny because when I was in their offices, they were trying to push me to put a down payment on the car within 15 mins of my being there, before I even test drove it (which I had no intention to do at that time anyways), and talking about how fast theyre selling cars off their lot, and that x amount of people have shown interest in that car that day already. Red flag, red flag, red flag!! Tactics, all tactics. They must have thought that because I am young, that I am therefore stupid or naive. I brought my parents with me for a reason, because everywhere I go as a buyer, I feel pushed around and it is because I am young and female. The first thing the salesperson asked me was if I was buying my first car (I wasnt), and if I was in high school or college.... Im 25 YEARS OLD! I just want them to stop calling me. It has been over a month, do they really think I havent already gotten a car?! I bought a Nissan altima from elsewhere. Get for real people. Being contacted repeatedly isnt good customer service; it does not make a customer feel that you "care" about them; it is harassment, and shows even more than all red flags I listed previously that you will do everything you can to try make a sale. You must be having a hard time attracting custlmers if you feel you need to chase them. I have blocked the salespersons office number, email but I am still getting phone calls from different people at their office on different numbers, mostly managers. Take a hint!!!!! I have never had a dealership harass me in this way.

Edit: Im not one to EVER post reviews, but I felt the need to do so for this dealership at the time thinking I had a good experience. Now, unfortunately, I have to retract what Ive said. Prior to the sale of my car, my salesmen Aaron Howard couldnt call, email or text me enough. He was on top of everything. Now, a few weeks post sale this has turned in to a nightmare. I drove over 350 miles to purchase this car. At no point in time prior to the sale did Aaron ever mention that there were severe scratches all over the trunk lid as well as a dent, but with the time constraints I faced and the fact that my father was driving over three hours to meet me, it was too late at the point. I figured Id write it off because I got a good enough deal on the car that I could spend the money for a shop to buff the scratches/get the dent out and repaint. When I took my car in however, a specialist informed me that my brakes were no good and I need to get them fixed. Skeptical since I had the car one week, I asked another mechanic that Ive used repeatedly and trust. He said the same. Now, I have to spend almost $2,000 dollars to get new brakes. Now, back to Aaron. Even post-sale he was super quick to contact me via text, which I didnt care for, when he needed my updated insurance, license, etc. But when I inquired about how he or this dealership could let a young female drive alone almost 400 miles with no brakes and thought perhaps the dealership should help with the cost of new brakes as the situation was handled in poor taste. I also advised I needed another temporary tag as mine was expiring and was following the Finance Managers directions on getting another. Aaron said he would overnight another tag, but NEVER responded regarding the brakes. Ive never heard from him again. Its now been a week. I emailed Aaron yesterday, a week later, to follow-up on the tag, and havent heard back. Typical...Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. Original Post: I worked with Aaron Howard from out of state to purchase a car I saw online and he was nothing but helpful and courteous. He went above and beyond to help me get the car and the deal I wanted and even drove 45 miles out to pick up my father who was meeting me in Columbia. Everyone at the dealership from the receptionist to the finance manager was courteous and helpful. Great experience. Thank you!

I was lied to about the towing capacity of a 2015 Jeep Patriot after I purchased it from them. I contacted the service department to see if adding a transmission cooler and oil cooler would increase my towing capacity, well, he said they come stock on the Patriot, now. He then said Id have no issues towing 2500 pounds, well, I put 500$ down to hold a camper, but I also had a bit of concern. I put a ticket in with Jeep, and they said absolutely not to the 2500 pounds, because its rated at 2000 pounds. I filed a complaint, and I was told they were going to do ALL they could to make it right. They made it sound like they were going to take my Patriot on a higher than normal trade-in, and they were going to cut me a deal on a 33k $ Cherokee Trailhawk. Anyways, I couldnt get approved for it (student loans and the loan I had already taken out for the Patriot). However, I could be approved for a 28k$ loan for a Jeep Cherokee SPORT 4X4 (this is an outrageous price for this vehicle for those that dont know), and it has a 4 cylinder JUST LIKE THE PATRIOT. They had the audacity to tell me once again, the Cherokee Sport can tow 2500 pounds with no issues at all. Please Google "Jeep Cherokee Sport Towing Capacity ". You dont even have to click anything to see that it is 2000 pounds. The Patriot is the 4th vehicle weve purchased from them in the last year, and it will be the last. Theyve not offered to do anything to make this better or fix the situation. Jeep opened a ticket against the Principle of the dealership, but of course, I never heard anything out of it. If they have the nerve to lie to me twice in a week and a half about a vehicles capabilities, then what do they do everyday to all of their customers? The funniest part is the fact that they say they put their customers first. Yeah, it sure appears that way. If you have plans of buying a new vehicle, I highly suggest doing yourself a favor and going to a different dealership. If my place of business treated our customers this way, we wouldnt be a business. Sorry for the long read, but Im trying to spread the word and save you the headache that comes with this place of business, if you can even call it that. You can read a summarized version of this on their Facebook reviews, and their response to me if you are considering purchasing a vehicle from them.
