They are very unreasonable. I lost my wife to liver cancer March 2014 and have had financial difficulties since, but Im trying to get caught up. Ive been late on my mortgage as much as 5 mo behind, but they worked with me to modify the loan so that has helped, but DICKson electric puts a cut off notice on my door Oct 8, demanding payment on the 9th or elec would be shut off Tue the 13th. When I BEGGED them to just give me one more day, when my SS survivor benefit would be direct deposited to my acct on Wed and Id pay the entire bill they said" Were not going to have this discussion with you." I eventually went to a local truckstop and begged money from truckers to pay bill. Those guys are good people!!! The truckers, not DICKSon electric. The name does NOT come from where they are located!

Poor customer service and this utility company charges me $10 for every meter I have at multiple homes and businesses I own for sanitation and solid waste and I do not even use the sanitation at most of my locations. I pay a separate private sanitation company for dumpsters and yet I still have to pay $170 per month to the electric company on top of the hundreds for electric service I pay them and the service goes off and it is horrible service. They need a major overhaul of upper management and a full audit from the state and federal utilities auditing department.

Rates are comparable to other places Ive lived. The biggest issue I have is with their website. Theres really no purpose because youre charged to make a payment online! Why do I have to pay to pay my bill? You cant view your bill online like all other electric companies Ive ever dealt with. And when you register online it uses part of your email address and doesnt inform you that it cuts it short if too long on the user name. Then theres no way to change it once youre in the account.

Having lived in Kingston Springs for 24 years now, weve seen the service dramatically improve. Today, we dont have the power blinking on and off - its practically 100% reliable. And, especially important is the maintenance of our service lines - DES has done a fantastic job of clearing dangerous limbs and trees. While other systems around us have outages during the same storms that hit our neighborhood, our power stays on. We appreciate you.

No free online bill pay. Everything is by check and they only give you 10 days or less to pay the bill once it arrives in the mail. They do not honor the post marked date. Be prepared to pay late fees just for paying your bill responsibly. Back woods way of doing things, this is 2012 people. Its time to get with the times.

The place has horrible service I litterally owed 78$ and they wouldnt let me have one more week which is when I get paid to pay it wouldnt even try working with me told me go to help center they might help you...if can avoid living in dickson if you want good helpful electric services..

So they put new digital meters in and "forgot " to turn my power back on... A crew came out and acted like I didnt pay my bill... Almost 24hrs later, they clicked a button at the office and I have power... And a ton of spoiled food... Thanks! Paying in a timely manner gets you nothing

They are not good support or help, they refuse to fix or owe me $99 for damaged my internet device after electric blank and they lied about few things they said they would check my house and send me the letter but never happen.

Horrible service! We have bad transformer at our apartments it has to be reset every six months it seems, lights always goes out in this whole building. Takes forever to get them out here to do so.
