My sons MacBook Air died. I had to buy a new one. I called Apple to help transfer the data from the old MacBook to the new one. They do not perform that services and gave me Tates phone number since they are a Apple authorized repair store. Thank goodness they did! I live in Jackson, TN and I 1st took it to Best Buy trying to save a trip to Memphis. They said could do it for $100 which was higher than Casel Gillespie told me a week earlier. Best Buy geek squad said there was no way to transfer the data because it was sautered in and no way to perform the transfer. I left went to my car and called Casel. He told me they were lying and for me to go back in there and have them open the back of the laptop take a picture and text it to him. I took the picture and sent to Casel. He immediately called me and told me that it could be taken out and the data transferred. Geek squad started back tracking and finally told me they didnt have the Apple tool to take the part out! So they basically lied to me!!! I went to Tates today took my MacBook to Casel. He took 10 minutes and transferred all of my sons data!!! Thank you Casel!!!!!! Great service and the only place to take your Apple product repairs!!! I own numerous Apple products and have for year! Tates is the best place for all your repairs! Ask for Casel he is fantastic!!

This was the best experience! I had taken my MacBook Pro to the Apple Store originally because my computer would not boot up. The Apple Store rep told me that he thought it might need a new Retina display and that they recommended sending it off for $280 to get it repaired, their flat rate method. He never took the time to do a more thorough investigation other than to try to mirror it onto another monitor. Apparently Apple doesnt touch helping get your data off, so they recommended Tate Computers and I am so glad because Tate Computers not only retrieved my data the same day but also fixed the computer and had it ready to go when I picked it up! It didnt need a new Retina display as Apple suggested, it only needed a reboot of the NVRAM. Tate Computers saved me money on a repair that wasnt even necessary! Tate Computers was also able to get this done quicker than Computer Labs of Memphis could and for half the price. Highly recommend them! Will be a future customer!

I had my iPhone screen repaired to avoid the lines at the Apple Store and because they were an apple "authorized service provider" for iPhones and it wouldnt void my warranty. They even have this on their website. My screen was fine after the repair until about a month after it would not work properly. So I take it to the Apple Store once it stopped working, told them the story, and guess what, they are not authorized to work on iPhones. They are only allowed to work on MacBooks. This is according to the technician in the Apple Store in Germantown, TN. So my warranty was voided due to this places false advertisement and I was forced to buy another phone out of contract. Please do not make the mistake I did, just go to the Apple Store.

This place is by far the best place in Memphis to go and get your computer repaired. I had viruses on my notebook and desktop and they were able to remove the viruses off both computers for less than the same price that I would have paid if I had just one computer repaired at Best Buys Geek Squad. Excellent customer service as well as they were able to show me tips to keep my computer running smoothly. Ive recommended my friends to go here for computer repair and you should go too!

Awesome experience!!! I dropped my MacBook Pro and needed it repaired ASAP for presentations that needed to be reviewed. I called Apple Care and they referred me to Tate Computers because all of the appointments were booked at the Sanderlin store. I went and met with Casel Gillispie. He diagnosed my Mac and had it repaired in no time at all. I also was able to get my files retrieved! I will definitely be referring more business to Tate Computers.

I have taken two different MacBook Pros there to be worked on, and my wife took hers there yesterday. Im overdue for a positive review of Tate. Each time we have visited them, their service has been fast, professional, and more affordable than the Apple Store. They even advised me on how to save money on one of my repairs, even though it meant making less money off of me.

Had my computer in here a month ago and its still having the same problem. Was never complety fixed in the firs place and I called in today to see if they would be reasonable and work out some kind of something because it wasnt fixed right in the first place. The manager was very snooty and short with me and did not even try to listen to my problem. Stay far away.

NOTHING IS GOOD! I was charged for a part amd charged for diagnostic. My stuff could not be fixed but guess what. They fixed it incorrectly. They put the piece in the wrong way and still charged us for it. Im going to take my computer pack up there hopefully they can step their game up because their service sucks.

Brought my computer here for repair. The diagnostic fee is very reasonable and it applies towards the fix! Checked in my laptop on Monday for a new LCD screen, computer was ready by Wednesday! They even cleaned up the keyboard! I would definitely recommend this place.
