I was going to Meineke for my regularly scheduled oil changes and everything was fine until about 8 months ago I noticed everything they were quoting everyone was WAY higher than what it was worth. I do most of my own work on my car, but when it comes to oil changes, it is worth the 19.99 for someone else to do it when you are pushed for time. First of all, they emailed me a coupon for 4.00 off my next service and when I took my car in I handed the owner my coupon and he said that coupon was for the original price of an oil change which is 26.00. THERE IS NO ADVERTISEMENTS, POSTINGS, ANYTHING at all with the "original" price on it. He refused to use the coupon which was fine with me, however while they had my car on the lift they asked me to come out and look at where my boot had been cut on my axle. They told me they could fix it for 350 dollars and that they wouldnt drive it if they had kids in the car like I did. As I was leaving a man sitting in the waiting area ran out and told me that he thought he seen the mechanic cut the boot with a pocket knife. I will NEVER go back to this place. The owner tries to act like he knows more than you and has no idea what he is talking about. Look at the certificates on the wall! There is only one guy that is ASE certified in the whole shop and it is EXPIRED!!! DO NOT take your car in here unless your looking to be taken on the ride of your life and leave your wallet with them. P.S....I was able to buy another cv joint nad replace it for less than 60 dollars! Think about it!

Had appointment on June 3, 2013 for air conditioner repair on 2003 Nissan Xterra. Freon leaking out. Counter clerk asked me a lot of questions including if I had put any stop leak in ac system. Told him I had. Mechanic went out, raised hood on Xterra, stood there for about 1 minute looking at it and closed hood. Came in and said something to clerk. Clerk started making phone calls. Eventually called me up to counter and said, " Putting the stop leak in the ac has caused everything in the system to be destroyed. We cant hook our machine up to it because it would destroy it and it cost $3000.00. Your entire ac system will have to be replaced." I said," I guess that paper there on the counter with $1707.00 is what its gonna cost me, huh ?" He said, "Sorry but yes it is." I told him,"No thank you", picked up my keys and walked out. I purchased a good set of 134a manifold gauges($89.95), a cheap vacuum pump($12.99), a can of what is supposed to be the best stop leak($38.00 from Amazon), and a case of 134a Freon($63.95 from Amazon). I used the vacuum pump and manifold gauge set to evacuate the ac system. I put in the can of stop leak and Freon. Air conditioner is working great, blowing very cold air. Guess everything in system must not be destroyed after all huh Meineke ??? I, none of my relatives or friends will definitely never do business at Meineke again ! Im also filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau so hopefully itll help keep other folks from getting ripped off by these people.

We found Meineke through a Google search of shops open on a Saturday. My wifes car had a "check engine soon" light on and we had a week to get it fixed. The staff were all friendly and attentive. When the issue was discovered, a staff member explained to us in simple terms what the issue was so we could both understand it. When it came to discussing price, Keith sat us down face to face, almost like a doctor, taking time to explain everything to us. My wife and I both work 9-5 schedules and these guys were even accommodating to that - staying after they had closed to work on our vehicle. When the part had been replaced, Keith let us in the shop, let us walk under the car as it was lifted and showed us a view of our car we never would have gotten otherwise. When I say these guys want you to understand whats going on, I mean it. If that is the one thing I took away from this experience, it is that they want to be as transparent as possible. Overall the experience was as painless as it could be. It is apparent that everyone there is genuinely invested in safety, quality work, and positive customer relations. We will be returning to Meineke for all of our car care needs. We are so grateful to them for their excellent work and patience.

The owner of this shop is a short Filipino guy that will talk about politics at the instant someone mentions anything that has to deal with the topic. But to write about the shop- the service was definitely fair and what you would expect from a car shop: a wait and the bit of dinginess expected from feet running into and out of the actual work area. The mechanics there are nice and informative. It seems like they work diligently. The best part is that every time I go they make sure they explain to me exactly whats going to happen to my car. This place definitely isnt the cheapest in the world, and they refuse to take 3rd party parts (I witnessed other people try). I assume its a liability thing if they grab parts from a junkyard. Personally, Im fine with that. If anything, the employees are up front about what it will take to put the car in perfect running order and they arent shy about the price either. But if you dont want the service they will not impose unless they absolutely feel like it will be detrimental to a customers immediate safety. Overall- good, honest car shop that has been in the business for a while. I recommend the place to anyone who is looking for reliable, personable service.

We discovered Meineke in Murfreesboro simply by accident and we are very pleased we did. Our car was acting up while we were driving down the road and Meineke was right to the side of us so we pulled in. The first person I met was David. David is a true professional. He is up front about the repairs and the staff is very knowledgable. We have brought in our vehicles and they did a top notch job. David is a man of integrity with a proven work ethic. I advised I think I might need new brakes because I hear some squeaking and he said he would take a look. He called me back and told me I did not need new brakes. He explained what it was and it was really nothing to worry about and offered a better much, less expensive option to handle the squeaking. He easily could have said I needed new brakes, but he didnt. He was honest and has been honest with us every time. His shop now handles all of our vehicles and has for a while, including oil changes, fuel pump, evap...etc. There is not anything they have not been able to address and fix. I will highly recommend this particular shop to everyone I know....Richard & Tracy.

myself and family and friends have all stopped by this hated place... I had a 3 year old Nissan truck and I just wanted new pads and rotors on the front and they kept my truck all day to look it over and then try to tell me a brake job is $899 dollars... came back got truck and went somewhere else.. dont even stop here ...it is a waste of time and just going to anger you.... go across the street and get amazing service or go to Budget brakes and only let them do pads and rotors and Budget will try to do this same thing to you...my sister stopped in with a nearly new SUV and stopped by Budget brakes and she came to my grandmothers where I was visiting crying... because she couldnt afford the $890 dollar brakes. I took the same SUV back to BUDGET brakes and got the pads and rotors for 79 bucks....but they are crap heads for attempting this on my sister and other women..
