I reviewed this company as terrible because they threatened my wife after she mentioned that they were mishandling our belongings and they had broken our $3000 sectional. They informed her that they would off-load our belongings from their truck and "refund" our money. Since I was hours and hours away, I felt compelled to ask my wife to leave so they wouldnt make good on their threat! Thats right, my wife had to leave our apartment and our belongings unsupervised (while they were being mishandled) because she was threatened by a staff member from ACM. To add insult to injury, they claimed they were going to transport our belongings that night. My wife then had to drive to the bank last minute, get cash out, and drive two hours out of the way to satisfy these people. They showed up almost three days later after multiple "reasons" why they were late. When they got to our house, just as my wife had said, our couch and washer were broken. They had even reloaded everything onto a totally different truck! They arrived very late, informed us that they had to be back the next morning, and left without unpacking (which we were told we paid for). When I finally called after receiving no refund or damage compensation I was told that they "fixed" our couch (which was ridiculous). I involved the BBB and got nowhere. When I finally I involved the FMCSA we received a check for the damage done to the couch only. The FMCSA informed me I had nine MONTHS to file a claim, so I refiled with them and I could also file for "inconvenience." They are now threatening to sue me for this rating.

Destroyed and abused our stuff. This is the worst experience we’ve ever had with a moving company. The owner made promises that were not kept and he’s not complying with FMCSA regulations. He has not provided insurance information or details on the arbitration process which is required by law. The majority of our boxes were smashed, crushed and destroyed. Some were opened and re-taped. Wardrobe boxes were crushed to half their size and all of our dress clothes were thrown in a pile at the bottom of the box. Many furniture pieces were ruined. They have various dents, cracks, scrape marks/scratches and stains. Bed braces to hold up the box springs and mattress were damaged and others were not reinstalled correctly. Inventory was done at initial load but not after leaving storage or at destination. We received items that are not ours and are missing several items (we’re still taking manual inventory of things). We also have parts to other people’s furniture. This is not your typical move where a few items get ruined. They clearly abused our belongings and could care less. They also damaged the wall during the move out process and the new owners had to follow up many times before they came and fixed it. Consumers BEWARE of Anew Cannonburg!

Terrible & rude! We hired Cannonburgh Moving & Storage Co. in February 2015 for a simple move from a small condo to a house. Not a lot of furniture. First of all they were 3 hours late! For some reason they disassembled a mirror from its stand that was light weight but they said it was their standard procedure. They lost the decorative bolts/screws and after numerous attempts to have them locate them; all of our attempts were unsuccessful. We called 4 different times and all 4 times they could have cared less. The last 2 calls the owner hung up on me and said to get over it and go buy 2 new ones. He discarded the fact that the ones they lost were decorative/matching pieces. Also, they were extremely unprofessional, very slow and they huffed and puffed the whole time. Stopped for smoke breaks and really struggled. It was an awful experience and I wouldnt recommend them to ANYONE. If you want someone who takes responsibility for their mistakes, please hire someone else.

This moving company has won me for a loyal customer because they were so polite. They had no available crew at the time that I called but the person I spoke with was very professional me and offered me options to choose. This attitude showed me that I am dealing with a professional local mover and from that moment I knew that I prefer to wait for an available crew instead of looking some other movers in the area of Nashville, TN. Anyway, the service was on a very high level and i strongly recommend this company!
