DO NOT USE THEM TO MOVE. This is the most unprofessional company I have ever had dealings with in my life. I contracted them to move my possessions from Nashville, TN to Atlanta, GA. I contacted them first about a month in advance. No one ever even offered to come look at what they would be moving. I sent them a detailed list of all of my furniture so they knew exactly what they were getting into. They called me the day before my move and asked if they could show up between 6-7 AM to get a start on it as it would be a big move and they had a long way to go. I said sure no problem. They did not show up until 7:30 AM. When they did finally arrive, they arrived in a rented Penske truck that did not even have a ramp on the back of it, so they had to have another guy bring them over a new truck. They did not load the first stick of furniture on the truck until 11:30 AM. In the meantime I got to hear how one of the guys was out so late last night getting drunk and watching basketball. He also told us that this wasnt his normal job he just did this part time. I THOUGHT I HIRED PROFESSIONAL MOVERS NOT PART TIME IDIOTS. At about 2:30 PM I got a call from a Ronald at the office. He asked if it would be ok if they brought all my stuff down the following morning and offered me a whopping 100 dollar discount. No thanks Ronald, you said you could do it in one day I am going to hold you to it. About this time, the two part time geniuses start breaking things. They broke my dresser and headboard to a bedroom set I have only had since July 2013. Thanks guys. They never sent anyone to help or even called me to ask if I was ok with bringing in a third guy and being charged for it. Never even an option. So when they finally get everything crammed (and I mean crammed floor to ceiling the entire truck) into the truck it is 5:30 PM and they still have to drive back downtown to their office to swap guys to drive it down to Atlanta. They dont leave Nashville until 7:10 PM. They arrive at my house in a very quiet neighborhood at 12:30 AM EST. Welcome to the neighborhood! They finish unloading everything at about 4:30 AM. Now during this entire process I have been speaking with the Director of Operations Derrick. He told me he would inspect everything as it came off the truck and we would sit down when the move was complete and talk about everything. He did not inspect a damn thing. He did not even have the balls to come speak to me when the move was over. He sent his Director of Finance to talk to me. Do NOT let them fool you with these titles, they are meaningless and trivial. So the next day I get a call from the furniture repair company charged with fixing my dresser and headboard. This is when I find out what else they broke that they DID NOT EVEN BOTHER TO TELL ME ABOUT. They broke a large TV stand and another dresser but did not even have the nerve to tell me that night because they knew I would refuse to pay them. So after about 100 calls back and forth with this idiot Ronald at the office (who is not authorized to handle a thing, all he will do is tell you someone will call you back) I finally get most of my stuff repaired. Then I come to realize I am missing some things. I look everywhere for the hardware to reassemble my pool table. It is no where to be found. Finally Ronald admits to having it and has it overnighted to me. So now we are just missing a vanity mirror to my girlfriends table. All they will do now is tell me they will call me back and they never do. They are the most unprofessional group of people I have ever had to work with. I would not hire them to move my dogs house from the porch to the back yard. I know my case is the exception to all these other positive reviews. But I warn you, if you hire them for a move, MAKE SURE SOMEONE COMES TO INVENTORY YOUR BELONGINGS, TAKE BEFORE AND AFTER PHOTOS OF EVERYTHING, SIGN UP FOR THE INSURANCE AS THEY WILL BREAK THINGS. Really I would suggest to look elsewhere as these assholes are not professional movers, they are a bunch of dudes with some trucks.

In short, I would not recommend this company. Here is my experience: I have used several moving companies in the past. The Green Truck Moving Co (GTM) is the worst and most expensive. Ive had better luck hiring guys through U-haul for a less than half the cost of moving with this company. I was willing to pay so much more because of the high reviews and because I was having appliances moved. Based on the companys website and the reviews, I chose GTM believing my items would be handled with care while I was having my floors redone. The crew that removed my items was extremely slow, which cost me extra money. The guys knocked the exit sign in my hall down so that it was hanging by the wires and said nothing about it. The head of the crew went up and fixed it after I insisted that I did not want to receive a fine from my HOA. I wasnt thrilled about the situation, but was hopeful things would go more smoothly when my items were returned. The crew returning my items was exponentially worse than the first. My brand new floors were scratched in the process of moving the fridge and the head mover first tried to deny the damage before coping an unprofessional attitude with me. He kept minimizing the damage as trivial and his attitude worsened when I spoke to a manager about the damage. With a bit of elbow grease, I was able to buff the scratches to blend acceptably, so I did not pursue damages for the floor. However, the handle to the drawer on my over was broken. It took several phone calls before I was offered a $50 credit and told the part could not be found anywhere. This was completely unacceptable. I adamantly expressed my disappointment and dissatisfaction withe the company and the $50 credit solution. The next day, I received a call that the part was ordered and would be installed when it arrived. By the way, I searched for the part myself in preparation to give the company the info and cost, it took 3 minutes to find. Today, I received the call that the part for my oven was in and asked if I would pick it up. Seriously?! I asked to have it delivered. In response, I was told that they were busy but someone would drop it off at the front desk of my building. Even the best companies have bad moments, and perhaps I was the unlucky recipient of lemon service. However, the dealings with management were just as unsatisfactory, which is far less forgivable.

I have moved several times in my life. I have used movers only twice, with varying results. This last move, I chose to go with The Green Truck Moving Company. It was a comparable price and the reviews on Google were convincing enough for me to try them out. I was not disappointed. Dre, Anthony, and Ronnie were on time and ready to work. They wasted no time getting started. My children were there for the beginning of the loading. Dre and the guys were polite and wonderfully understanding while listening to my 10 year old chatter and ask questions. They worked hard and had my entire house (3 bedrooms, living room and kitchen) loaded and ready to go in 2 ½ hours. This was amazing to me, because my experience with other moving companies was such that I expected them to be slower. They were timely with the drive as well. It took them the same amount of time as it took me to get to the new house. I have worked with movers who drove very slowly and it seemed to take them a very long time to get to the destination. When, they arrived at our house, they unloaded and set up beds almost as quickly as they loaded at the beginning of the day (even with both my children under foot). They listened to where I wanted furniture placed and didn’t mind me asking them to move it if I didn’t like how it looked. Dre and the guys were very organized; and, after labeling where all the furniture pieces went when they loaded, they didn’t have to ask me which bedroom it went in when they got here. I was impressed that they had thought of that. Dre was very helpful in explaining all of the charges when they were finished. I was amazed at how much they seemed to care that the moving process was smooth and easy for us. I have never run across a moving company that was so interested in customer service. I would highly recommend them to anyone who has thought about hiring a moving company. From Starr in the office, who helped set up our move, all the way down to the guys loading the truck, we had an amazing experience! Thank you to everyone at Green Truck Moving! You were a blessing to me and my family!
