I had never used Two Men and A Truck before. I had another company I had always dealt with. When I called the other company two weeks before the move they could not accommodate me. The recommended Two Men and a Truck. I may never use the other company again. Two men and a Truck did a great job of estimating my costs, being on time, moving everything without damages, and even went above and beyond my expectations. This was an emotional move for me. My mother has Alzheimers and the move was to a memory care unit. I was a basket case, but the two movers were wonderful, caring men who seemed to understand my anxiety. I unfortunately forgot their names, but I would like to thank them again for everything. I felt the cost of the move was fair and I couldnt have asked for anything more. Thank you Two Men and A Truck. This is the same review I put on face book. I also wanted to add that we needed a them a bit longer and I had stated that possibility to the estimator and she was very close to the additional costs. I was very pleased with the move. I think you do get what you pay for. To expect these people to do the hard work you do not want to do for less is crazy. These guys were quick and got the job done with no damages. They were well within the time frame and costs given on the estimate. Again, thank you.

BAIT AND SWITCH!!! The local office in Valparaiso told me AFTER the move that their low end estimate ONLY INCLUDES THE ESTIMATED DRIVE TIME. and they know this, but chose not to tell potential customers. The local manager, Tom, told me that "no one in any industry ever takes the low estimate as being "real". the final cost was $470 OVER THE HIGH END COST. The 2 men who did the actual work, Lenny and Mike, were fantastic, if they worked for anyone else I would recommend them very highly. The local office would not return ANY phone calls over a 5 day period to discuss this huge difference. We had to call repeatedly before getting Tom on the phone and best he could offer AFTER telling 4 lies/miss-leading statements was to rebate us one man hour, or $77.00. We had offered to split the $470 difference, but they elected to bill the total amount onto our credit card and Tom told us to "read contracts better in the future."

I applied here and spoke to Mike.I did my interview process and he had me sit for 4 hours while he talked to somebody on the phone. Mind you I was not paid for this time and you can tell a professional phone call from a personal call. After leading me to believe I would start the following monday I agreed to sign all of my paperwork and watch 2 hours of training videos to get a call 2 WEEKS LATER!! Informing me I didnt get the job due to some trouble I got into almost 7 years ago. I feel discriminated against and will be calling the B.B.B. AND the fair labor board on this branch. I have worked for Elmhurst and transferred to 2 other branches in my time at Two Men. Including sheriville and orland. Mike is a joke and needs to be treated as unfairly as he did me! DO NOT HIRE!!

It appears the other review was written by the owner of another company so I felt obliged to come and give my honest opinion. I had two men and a truck move the majority of my items including furniture and appliances. The estimate they gave me was the same as the price on my bill, which was nice. They were very careful to move everything out without damaging my doorways (which are small.) After all my items were moved, they inspected the house and items for damage/dirtiness. This is only my 2nd time using a moving company, but I can say with certainty that they were professional, kept their word, and moved all my items efficiently. I would and have recommended them to friends in my area.

From beginning to end the movers were awesome. The office staff was top notch and even did a conformation call about 4 days before the move . Jeff did a during the move call to make sure things were going ok! Ive never had a company do that before. I was so worried about my things and knew the move wasnt going to be easy but they sure made it feel that way. I wish there were more than 5 stars to give them. Easily the best movers I have ever used in Northwest Indiana and I have used 5 of them. 10 STARS!!!

Justin and Shawn were our movers and they were great! They were friendly but efficient and handled all of our items with great care, They know their business and we had a great experience with them! Thank you!! The estimate given to me by Faith was very close to the total we paid. We were very pleased with the whole experience.

After a misunderstanding, 50% at least of which I am sure was my fault, the owner himself strapped it on and helped through the entire move to get it done in time for my deadline. You can definitely trust them with all of your lifes items involved in a move. Kudos to the Valparaiso Team!

The local Two Men and a Truck went a long way towards taking the stress out of our moving day. From giving advice before the move, to confirming the day before, to showing up when promised, everything went well. Fast, affordable and prompt!

Very professional, organized. Managed lifting many heavy items without damage. Took a little longer than anticipated. Worked long hours without any complaints! Great job. I will use them when I move again.
