This company deserves to have no stars. But that is not an option. Ellis Moving and Storage has given us nothing but problems on the delivery of our mattress. We ordered a mattress through Sam’s Club online on January 23, 2017. It arrived at their warehouse on February 3. They called to schedule delivery on February 6th. The woman that called said the earliest delivery date they had was February 13, from 4-8pm. I asked if they had anything available earlier, since that date was one week away, and she said no. Before hanging up, I repeated the date and time that it would be delivered back to her, and she responded that it was correct. On February 13th, no one showed up for delivery, and because it was after business hours, there was no one to call. I called on February 14th to learn that our delivery had been rescheduled for the 20th without notice. They would not offer any help or suggestions for rectification of the situation, but only told us that we were in the wrong. I am a combat wounded veteran with injuries to my back and leg not to mention Traumatic Brain Injury and PTSD, which requires that I get adequate sleep. Because we could not wait this new additional week, we then decided that we would drive the 11 miles to the company and pick up the mattress ourselves. When we called to make sure that they had our fully paid for mattress available when we arrived, they told us that they would not release our property to us. They said that Serta has a policy that we cannot pick it up. They are currently still withholding our purchase from us. After calling Serta, we learned that is not true. Serta does, however, have a policy requiring the delivery company to deliver the mattress within ten business days of receiving it, which Ellis will not be compliant with. A few days later, I tried to change the address for delivery, and I was told they could not do that. The woman then started to take the new address from me, but then interrupted me to say they could not, but I would have to contact my place of purchase. We have not reached our new delivery date of the 20th, so I do not know whether or not the mattress will be delivered at that time. Ellis Moving and Storage is a horrible company. They were not willing to work with us in any way. They rescheduled our delivery without notice, are currently holding our merchandise from us, will not change the delivery address, and have offered no apologies.

By far the worst movers weve ever had, and being in the military we are professional movers, ha! The staff was super unprofessional and rude when at our house. It was clear they didnt care about our house or our belongings. Stuff was literally just thrown into boxes, breakables not wrapped to include glass, boxes packed on top of lamp shades, and once loaded onto the truck it there was no regard to keep stuff from breaking. We had furniture broken, among multiple other things. How do you break a sturdy hardwood desk you ask? Hire these movers, thats how. Lucky for us the military will reimburse us all the damages and they have this nice form to fill out that ensures they lose their contract with the Army. If you are military or not, AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST! I would pay double what Ellis wanted to charge me, just to never use them again.

They were not flexible with delivery times after 3rd attempt to schedule to have my couch delivered that I ordered online through Costco I took the afternoon off from work and no couch was delivered in the 2 time frame given...2 to 6 and 4 to 8 pm. Was advised by office (Katelyn) of the 2 hr delay after I called at noon to confirm delivery time on scheduled delivery date. Also, confirmed they would contact me 30 min prior to time they would be there and no calls made. Contacted Costco customer service advise them about the lack of communication, flexibility, and customer service...informed Costco if they continue to use there service. They will loose busy. If I could I would give them a O.

horrible experience, if I could have given them a 0 I would have. Was suppose to deliver a bed for my daughter they told her they would be there between 9 and 1pm on a Saturday and would call and confirm the day before and they never called so she called them the day before they never answered so she just waited the next day and they never showed up. then told her they came by and she wasnt there (lie) they also said they called (lie) tried to reschedule and had to wait 10 days PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR BUISNESS say yourself time and head ach. As the customer we DEMAND better service.

If I could give less than a one star review I would. WORST customer service and most unprofessional delivery company I have ever dealt with. They said I would recieve my furiture on Monday but then declined to deliver it becuase they said their truck was already full. They could not give me a date or time that they would be able to reschedule. As of right now I do not have my furnuture or a date/time that it will be delivered. Manager argured that someone had called me ealier to confirm and then hung up on me. Do not use this company. If I could somehow avoid using them now I would.

Without question the least customer focused organization I have ever had the misfortune to encounter. They are subbed for the delivery of office furniture by Costco. The driver lied when he said that he knocked on my door and tried to call me two times when the delivery was scheduled. Trying to get the delivery rescheduled has been an absolute nightmare. When you call the office the staff you encounter could not care less about talking to you or resolving your issue. If I could give them zero or negative stars I would. Absolute pits. Dont do any business with this organization.

Moving is usually the most stressful thing a person can go through, but Ellis Movers made my move very easy. The movers were careful with everything and all my things arrived in perfect condition. My driver Billy was a very experienced mover and he took extra time adding things to the bottoms of my furniture so the floor would not be scraped up. This was not part of his job, but he did it anyway. This move was the best I have ever had thanks to this company and its movers. Thanks.

These guys wouldnt even stick around long enough for me to inventory what they dropped off. They just threw the stuff in the living room and ran away. Sure enough they forgot three items on the list. And they delivered stuff that wasnt even ours. The address was in a whole other city! I asked for their name and the driver literally ran away. Stay away from these jerks!

Terrible service,should be no stars because I never got my order of patio furniture from Sams Club. $5000 ORDER......It has been 2 weeks since arriving at their business ! They are not accommodating at all .You can tell they just dont CARE .I live 2 hours from where they were supposed to deliver and they wont work with you.. DO NOT USE THEM !!!!!!

If I could give no stars I would. Horrible company to deal with. Everyone that works there is rude and stupid and could care less about customer service. I will make sure next time I order something with white glove delivery it will not come through these jokers.
