If only zero stars were possible. I spent an hour waiting in line the other day, thanks to the one "service" rep available. I was trying to find an envelope which, if Im not confused, is the sole reason for this installations existence - to receive, divide, and deliver post, the most common form being regular envelopes. Apparently that is beyond the expertise of these morons. I also believe the two surnames on the inside of my mailbox are written in a forgotten language, because I get mail addressed to random people ALL the time. I mean ALL the time. In 3 days, I received mail for 3 different women. There are 2 men living in my house. I call to ask for this to stop, and the phone either rings for 6 years, or there is what sounds like AOL booting on a 56k modem, then disconnection. I simply cannot wait for UPS, FedEx and email to cause a dramatic loss of income for this establishment; to the point that it closes its doors permanently. You may ask, "But where will the senile old people go to ship packages wrapped in newspaper and sealed with hot glue?" My answer to you: I couldnt possibly care less.

I would give you less than one star if I could. I bought my townhouse 18 months ago and was told that I had to get the lick on the mailbox replaced myself. I called a llocksmith, paid 100.00 for a new lock. Today I come home, the lick has been popped out new lock in its place well just hanging loose with three keys and a note. The lock will not work or stay locked. Cannot get the key out. And the note says lets ks like you are getting a new lock, I will hold your mail until its done what the heck happened to my 100 dollar lick that worked just fine? True what the heck is wrong with your phone that it rings busy? As government workers, a second grade education is all youeed and it shows. You have the power to do whatever with no regard to others. Thanks for nothing. I think the mail service is the same as all the other government assistance programs. Thanks for paying taxes and carrying all the lazy mofos of the United States of America.

I had to give them one stare just to make this review seen. This is the worst Post Office I have ever been to! They have lost the same package twice, they never answer the phone (there is no answering machine either), my apartment complex stopped excepting packages from them at he front office (since there are lock boxes for them to put bigger packages in at our mailboxes) because they would not record that package was dropped off their, now for packages that could fit in my mailbox they take back to the post office so now I have to pick up ALL of my packages at the post office, one of the workers told me to get into an other line just to wait long enough for them to close before I could pick up my package, and these are just a few encounters I have had to deal with the Smyrna, TN post office. I have never had any trouble at any other post office!

Came home today & went to mailbox to get mail. Had 5 bills inside for p/u & when I pulled out the massive amount of mail (yesterday was a holiday so we had Mon/Tuesdays mail in there) I saw all 5 of my envelopes smooshed in the back of my mailbox not even picked up! Who does that? What kind of employee does something like that? Why did they do that? What is the problem? Trying to call my post office to find out. It just rings and rings and rings. Customer service never has existed with the US postal service. My father-in-law passed away a few months ago and we are executor of the estate and those are very important bills that have got to get paid. I guess its OK to deface the mail if its the postman defacing it.

This is the worst post office in the USA!!! The people are slow,take their time doing everything they do. The carrier at my house is the absolute worst carrier ever, Ive complained about him numerous times in the past couple of years and nothing obviously ever gets done about it. The phone is always busy when you call, but I dont know why cause even when its not busy nobody answers the phone!!!! Would give less stars but you cant obviously or they would get -5!!! So if you can go elsewhere do yourself a favor and GO ELSEWHERE!!!!!!

If 0 was an option, Id do it. Use the self service kiosk thinking I was helping them. Theres no tape offered to seal the box. Ask the guy at the counter, all I needed was a 12 in piece of tape. Cant do it cuz I chose ground shipping not priority mail like the rest of the tape. They dont give tape out for a 12x7 box to remove the "priority" tape. Who cares what kindve tape it is?!?! The LABEL should dictate the shipping speed shouldnt it? NEVER will I use USPS to ship things anymore.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Constant problems with mail delivery as well as poor service when going to get my undelivered packages from the Smyrna Post Office. Package not able to be delivered due to a gate, even though I have a door bell at the gate and am home. have had packages not delivered when the gate is left open. No pick up ticket left in the mail box indicating an attempt was made or to pick up at the Post Office.

Extremely slow service and packages are now not even being delivered to my house. Spoke with the supervisor who took down my number to call about this issue since I waited for 30 min and still didnt get an answer and he has yet to call me. Looks like I will be going and spending another 30 to 45 min tomorrow morning for the same issue.

This P.O. is just as bad as the Lavergne P.O. service is slow, never have stamps, youre doing good if more than one person is working the front but still horrible service, PLEASE GIVE OUR CITY BETTET SERVICE AND FRIENDLY REPS. WE WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE IT !!!!!! and it would not be a bad idea to have a better PMG

My mail always gets returned as if I dont live where I live. I have had a few instances where they said they left an advisory for me that they tried to deliver a package and never did. Worst post office experience I have ever had. This is why the post office is going bankrupt.

This place is ridiculous! I waited in line for 30 minutes for the manager who is the only person that can process a passport Only to be told that it was past the cut off time!!! It wasnt past the cut off time when I walked in the door and had to stand and wait!

Paid 30 dollars 2 weeks ago to have my mailbox lock replaced and they still havent done it so I cant get my packages and their phone stays busy so I cant call them...now I cant give my nieces their birthday presents at the party...thanks for that...

The post office is small for a town the size of Smyrna, so expect a line at peak hours. Still, the staff is friendly and the service excellent. My family has also always gotten excellent service from the postal carriers. Keep up the good work!
