I tried Jasmines delivery service. I started with an exceptional wonton soup. Light broth with delicious dumplings. Not the usual over-salted, over-oily, and over thickened soup that one normally gets. I then had the Lobster with scallions and ginger. Excellent. Lobster was very lightly battered, delicious, tender, and not overcooked. This included a stir fry of a wide variety of perfectly cooked crisp-tender vegetables in a pleasing white sauce. The lobster was not Maine lobster as advertised, however. It was Florida or another warm water variety. And there were no scallions in the stir-fry. Strange, as that is the name of the dish. Nevertheless, very tasty. Rice was fine. Even the fortune cookie was about the freshest and tastiest Ive ever had...and that numbers in the hundreds. The ordering process is a little unusual on line. They call you after a few minutes to get your credit card info. But the woman who called was pleasant, and efficient. She said the delivery would be in 30 minutes, and it was exactly 30 minutes. The driver was polite and pleasant. All this on a busy Friday night. Price is appropriate. Its basic Chinese delivery, but some of the best Ive had. Minus a half point for the misleading menu, but overall: Excellent.

This is my first time coming to this restaurant. It was horrible! My chicken tasted old and refried. You barely get shrimp in the shrimp dishes after they up charge for the shrimp. When I called to tell the manager about the food I got delivered . I couldnt even give a real customer complaint because she argued the whole time saying its impossible the food was horrible. I told them to give me a refund. She said she needed to see the food before getting a refund. I said no problem. She said she would send the delivery guy back to pick up the food and I will receive my refund. I never got a refund, the delivery guy never showed up. I still have a full bag of $40 worth of old (refried) horrible Chinese food sitting by my door.

I have had mixed experience with Jasmines. The food has been consistently good. I love the sweet and sour shrimp with some lo mien. My team and I order for delivery pretty often from here. Most times they make it in about 45 minutes. However there have been a few times that they wont show up for an hour and a half even though theyve told us it would be 45-55 minutes. One day I got tired of waiting and had to get food somewhere else after waiting for almost 2 hours. If they were able to get their delivery times more consistent I would be willing to give more stars. However it can be frustrating waiting for so long for your food when you have certain expectations after being told how long the wait would be.

Its been about 6 months since Ive eaten Chinese food because theyre all the same. Low quality and bland, just like this place. This restaurant is over priced for how low quality and cheap the food is. It took 2 hours for them to deliver 2 entrees! I called the restaurant 3 times and each time she said 5 minutes until they arrive. The fried rice was the only decent thing about the meals. The lo mein was bland and the rice was too. The sesame chicken was cold and the inside was dry and tough. The skin was soggy. Like I said, all Chinese places Ive been too in Dallas are all the same low quality food. I wont be eating Chinese anymore. Dont come here!!!

I am extremely happy I am not a victim of one of those 1-star reviews. Every experience I have had here was excellent! Atmosphere is AMAZING, the whole place feels and looks really cool inside. I always order the same thing which was lemon chicken and lo mein. Its the best lo mein Ive ever had, really, I just love the lemon chicken. Every visit I have been there I got the fold hot and very good tasting, and I am talking 7+ visits, probably more as you read this. I love this restaurant, it is the best Chinese food in dallas, FOR ME. I will definitely be back, and I hope I never have to give this place a one-star review.

I order food from there a couple of nights a week and all different times and I must say that I have always gotten excellent tasting and looking food within a short time period and what is so very rare for delivery food: it is always hot. Has become one of my favorites and without any hesitation recommend anyone to eat in the restaurant or order it delivered. It is great tasting and good portions. Its not fancy or pho pho but just good Chinese food. I am so sorry that Jesus had a bad experience there and no I dont work there or am not compensated for this review.

Cheap Chinese food at an expensive price. The waiter was very rude when I just ordered soup and an egg roll. I ordered that because I remembered I had ordered delivery from them and the quality was not good. I did not want to waste my money on an entree. The hot and sour soup was non descript and not very spicy. The egg roll was OK. It is hard to screw up an egg roll. The restaurant was almost empty. They have struggled on for years. I dont know how they stay in business. Why be rude to the few customers you have?

When I ordered my Food for delivery, I was asked to order more to meet the $15 min. I ordered Mongolian Beef, which is normally my favorite. When the food got to my room, it was more than they had said it was going to be, I paid and brought my food in. When I opened the entree it looked like it should have been called Mongolian Onion, it had about 10 pieces of meat and probably 3 whole onions sliced up with a little sauce, the fried rice was dry and almost inedible!! Worst place ever!!

I checked out the menu online found something that I havent had since I moved to Texas and I was really, really happy to go. I went the next day with a friend bragging about how good this item was(really it was 2 but the 2nd was ok and nothing to crazy good or bad). We sat down and I asked for this item, the sweet potato roll and drum roll. We dont make it any more, I was pissed. I went back and checked their menus and Its still on there to go menu, and I can order it online menu.

The delivery man was extremely rude. My order was 13 dollars and i had to argue with him to get my change for a 20. He said i didnt give him enough tip must because i wanted a few dollars back, and raised his voice at me, practically yelling. He was extremely rude. I will never order from here again, I wanted to just give the food back because he ruined my entire experience. I work in the service industy and i would never treat someone like that.

I have been a loyal patron of this place since the mid 1990s. Somewhere along the line they switched owners or their head chef returned to China or something like that. I have to say that this is still a very good Chinese place but used to be the absolute best. Pros: Excellent atmosphere, unrivaled service, fresh food, upscale decor; perfect for date night. Neutral: 20 years of patronage I have seen the swings in the food quality.
