If you want only GOOD hair days every day, you need to have your hair done by Julie at Jovie! Since my first cut with Julie 20 years ago, I have stalked her through her few moves to different locations. Prior to finding her, I used high end salons and had some horrible results. I have hair that will show every snip mark if not done right. So horrible, in fact, that once on a flight a lady handed me her hairdressers card and said I needed help...this occurred after a recent cut at Neiman Marcus flagship salon. These days, I am frequently asked by strangers who my hairdresser is, and they want to use her, which is a far cry from the conversation on that airplane! A bonus is that she knows I dont want to spend any time fixing my hair and cuts it accordingly. I even get compliments when I literally drip dry! If you want great hair all the time, just go see Julie at Jovie. You wont regret it!

It was good i got my hair styled and eyebrows waxed. Costumer service was okay until the last few minutes when another employee told my stylist another person was done, at first i thought it was about something else but then she started rushing through my styling a bit and looking around, at the end she didnt work with my bangs much or asked if i liked it she just said "you are ready for your baby shower" and put everything away so it just made me a little uncomfortable and rushed so i just got up and said "thank you." When i went to pay i realized she was rushing because she had another costumer.. i understand you dont want to make people wait but every costumer deserves time. Anyway overall the experience was good, the ladies were nice. Just a little pricey but its good quality products.

Went in with a picture of a short style. 2 HOURS LATER we leave with something NOT as pictured. Never experienced a 2 hour cut and never left with something COMPLETELY different than asked for (especially when we bring in the picture). Even asked the girl after words, stating that it didnt quite look like the picture (I was being nice when I said quite) and she said, you just have to use product...then never showed how to use it to make hair look as pictured in example. When elsewhere and another salon fixed it as best she could-now looks almost like picture and the other salon even took the time to show my daughter how to style, flat iron, etc her hair all for a CHEAPER price. Cant recommend Jovie at all.

I was very nervous to get my hair done because Ive tried it twice professionally and it did not end well. I like Julie because she was honest with me and I think thats wonderful. She flat out told me I was not going to be able to get as light as I wanted in one session because I have darker brown hair and I was getting the baylage. I know other stylist who would just attempt to do it in one session and then I would leave upset. The price was high but my husband said, "youre worth it".. so if your special one thinks the same go here and get a change. You wont regret it!! The receptionist (dark hair w blonde streak) was also so very kind! The atmosphere was great and I liked how they all worked together.

My husbands job moves us around quite a bit. I am always so very nervous about choosing my "first" experience haircut with a new stylist...and I have had my share of miserable cuts and painful grow out stages to last a lifetime! Well; I can certainly tell you that my "first" time experience with a cut at Jovie Salon with Julie has been an amazing experience! Julie was so great and listened to my concerns and what I was trying to relay in what I wanted in a cut, and she was amazing! Made me feel so comfortable and did an amazing cut! I will be back :) Thank you Jovie Salon, and Julie, for a great all around experience!

I have visited both Jovie salons in McKinney and Allen. Both were extremely clean, and everyone was welcoming. My stylist Jordan always goes above and beyond to make sure that I am comfortable, satisfied, and gives me exactly what I ask for. There was a time when I was unsure of what i wanted exactly, and she walked me through the whole process and we decided a perfect plan to get my hair where I wanted it without any pressure or confusion. I would recommend Jovie AND Jordan to everyone! I always look forward to getting my hair done these days as it is a "treat" and not a hassle!

I was a bit scared as its usually nerve-racking to try a new beauty salon, and I had some really bad experiences in the past. In fact I scheduled my visit to Jovie Salon to try to correct a bad color I got from another place in town and a friend from church told me she goes there and loves it. Im so glad I came as they took great care of me and my hair looks so much better. The stylist also gave me a conditioning service for my hair and it feels much softer and more healthy. Thank goodness! I am so happy with my hair again.

Wow so glad I made the choice to ignore the past reviews, from the minute I called to make the appointment I have been amazed!! This is the best hair experience I have ever had, I had very long hair, and went in with a picture I wanted it to look like, Elena made it happen!!! She cut my very unruly hair to shoulder length I Love it. All I will say is please form your own opinion I can say with all honesty I will go to no other salon, Jovie has a new customer. Thank you again Ladies for the awesome service.

A terrific place recommended to me by my wife. She has been going to the salon for some time and I decided to try it out. I never really thought too much about my hair; I try to keep it short and appropriate for business. But I feel the stylist really took her time to cut my hair and it seems neater and cleaner than what I usually get. Everyone was really nice, too. Ill be back when its time for another haircut.

My hair is now so beautiful and shiny and Im so happy! I was worried about spending money to go to a real salon as Im a student and every dollar counts but it was totally worth it. My whole visit was nice and everyone was so friendly, which made me not too stressed in trying someplace new. Gorgeous salon and a professional that made me look and feel better than ever.

I had a wonderful experience at Jovie Salon. The staff was very friendly and personable. I decided to do something dramatic and go all the way for a completely new look and I have to say...its amazing. The color is so vibrant and the cut is perfect. Love Jovie Salon! I found the salon when driving on my way to school in McKinney and decided I needed a haircut. Great service and awesome haircut. I already told my mom and sisters about it! There was a lot of people there when I went in, was worried about not getting in, but they fit me in for an appointment and I couldnt be happier.
