Not normally one to write a review online, but this was a great experience (as far as haircuts go). As a male, I tend to focus more on the cost than the cut, as my hair isnt all that long and it will grow back quickly if its messed up. Well, for just a little more than youd pay at a decent chain, youll get not only a really good haircut, but the staff here is awesome. Jenn did a really good job in a short amount of time, but she didnt rush or hurry. Extremely friendly and welcoming. Made me feel at home and she and the staff chatted me up the entire time - as well as chatting up the other customers. Was pretty fun, considering its a haircut and you arent exactly looking for fun with that. The salon itself is really cool. Awesome custom cabinetry and woodwork. Impressive place. Lauras husband happened to be there when I came in and was as friendly as the rest. Id definitely recommend this place! Will be back, for sure.

Im new to the North Dallas area and have been looking for a regular place to get my hair cut. Ive tried a few barber shops geared toward men (e.g. the Board Room), but I have to say hands down, this is my new place. One of my co-workers told me about LauraMac salon. I was a little hesitant at first because I thought it might be more geared towards women. But I was definitely wrong. This place is comfortable and definitely caters to both men and women. I got a great shampoo from Jess and one of the best haircuts Ive ever had from Laura. So guys, if youre looking for a new or regular shop to get your hair cut, I recommend the friendly ladies at LauraMac Salon.

Putting up with a bride, and her mother, cannot always be easy, and Savannah did so with patience and professionalism. She showed up on time, spent all the time we all needed, and met each and every need with grace and calm. This is by FAR the BEST salon in DFW!! Not only is the salon gorgeous, but stylist/owner Laura has hands of gold! The Kuene product line at LauraMac is magic in a bottle. Every time I go in and get my color done, my hair feels healthier than it did when I walked in. The colors are beautiful in depth and make your hair soft and healthy. And dont even get me started on the shampoos and shampooing experience! Whether its Laura, Jess or Savannah, I always get a spa massage style shampoo every time. Its like a little slice of heaven. I highly recommend LauraMac salon!!

This is one of the best place in Allen neighborhood for a hair cut and style. When a customer walks in they always get greeted and asked if they want some refreshment. I love Jess. She is an amazing hair stylists. She gives great advice on the best hair cut. She makes you feel so much at home that you know you are in good hands. I will recommend this salon to everyone. With out a doubt the best salon in Collin County! I have gone here two times now, and each time has been stellar. Everyone is so nice, and they listen to exactly what you want, and throw in suggestions of their own. Very friendly, and highly educated staff makes you feel at home. I will be a regular here, I also love the fact that they do hair of all ages, and are not expensive at all.
