Never setting foot in this store again. I had the worst experience of my life at the salon. I went in for a highlight and the stylist did her job but the results were too harsh and yellow. I asked if she could possibly tone it and I heard her manager tell her no, she did not want to waste her product. I asked to talk with the manager myself at that point. The manager said she thought it looked fine. I said I was not happy, or comfortable with the yellow streaky highlights and that I knew I could fix them myself with some product from Sallys but I was there to let the "professionals" do their job and fix the issue. I got so upset I broke down and cried in the front desk area. My hair looked so ugly! I had a big event that evening and now I had to fix their goof up on my own with hardly any time to spare. They could care less how upset and uncomfortable they made me feel. The managers a man and a women both argued with me, in front of customers at the front desk and kept refusing to help fix my hair with a $6 bottle of toner or purple shampoo. I had to get out of there so I just paid my bill, in full, no less, and left because they were just being bullies and kept saying it was fine, when I knew it was bad. It was baby chick yellow and streaky, it looked cheap and ugly. I paid full price, no discounts, no specials. I have always used Ulta Salons but I will never go to this location even though I tried it that one time because it was close to home, and new. The managers are not good at their jobs, and they are just bad people, really mean spirited. Another thing was that the store was really dirty, there were rolly pollies, dead and alive every where and I commented on it when I was in my chair but they said, we sweep them up, but they just come back...really??? Gross! Save your money and sanity and try another location.

I had an appointment with the Salon Manager at this location. I have her very simple instructions, I wanted my sides evened out and my top layer thinned out and that absolutely for no reason do I want a razor blade or clippers on my hair. She said the only reason she would be using clippers was to point cut around my ears and taper the bottom in the back. I was there 2 hours and she didnt even finish blending my hair before I left. She gave me a taper fade and my hair was a style of a Mohawk taper fade in the back. She cut the side of my hair on one side to the top of my head and unevenly cut my hair underneath that side. Literally had 2 different styles on the side of my head. She offered to "comp" my haircut being that that was the very least she could do. This above version is a much more calm and delayed version of what actually took place. When I told her how much I didnt like it, I started to cry, she then said to me "Maybe short hair isnt for you!" This is the salon manager of 14 different salons and she has been doing hair for 15+ years as well. Ive sent multiple emails to corporate and yet to have hear anything back from anyone. I will never go again to an Ulta & this was my first experience with their asking and it was the very last too!!

ULTA is AMAZING! This location is the only one I really frequent, but the few others I have been too have been great as well-- they really focus on the customer. Returns? No problem. Exchanges? No problem. Fun to talk to the staff and they act SO willing to help you with whatever you need, even if it is a return or poor review of a product and they may lose money. Ulta makes shopping less stressful in the makeup world because of their awesome policies, and I love those that work at this location.

If I could give no stars I would. Victoria ruined my hair, I asked for FOUR inches off of my hair and lots of layers(it reached my lower back before the cut) well she took it upon herself to cut my hair to shoulder length.. it isnt a quality cut either, this is the worst my hair has ever looked, really seemed like the stylist had no idea what she was doing so she just kept cutting, Im so disappointed and outraged at this. It was also $37 for this without a wash/blow dry/style

Honestly I usually avoid shopping at Ulta because in the past their employees (at the Plano store) have been so inattentive and hateful, but not at the Fairview location. Everyone was so friendly, even when I had to make a return there were no rebuking glares, just smiles and good service. I tried out their salon as well and was impressed, a good selection of services, fair prices, and I left looking and feeling great.

I went into this location earlier today and was greeted with a nice smile from the cashier and wonderful a/c. Im so thankful that Summer was there to help me. She listened to my blah blah and made my face beautiful at the same time. I will definitely be back.

Bought a boxed up bottle of Marc Jacobs pen spray pefume. When I got home and opened up the box, the bottle was completely empty. Need to check product before putting it on the shelf.
