I took a DC 15” Rental Truck on Uhaul – on 08.26.2017, as ONE WAY RENTAL, with pick up at 2315 W DIVISION ARLINGTON, TX 76012 and Drop Off at Coppell, TX. I paid 121$ , with my discover card ( 105 for rental, plus taxes. ) . I was said that I will have 24 hours and 30 miles limit. Later I got a Call from UHaul Customer Care, She said me that there are no locations that have 24 hour drop off in Coppell, TX and We agreed that I will drop it off back in the same location - 2315 W DIVISION ARLINGTON, TX 76012 and SHE SAID THAT IT WILL BE CHANGED TO IN-TOWN RENTAL FROM ONE WAY RENTAL, and I will be charged 29.95 for rent and .99/mile for the miles I use. ( I have the Text Message and email ) I returned the truck the same day – 08.26.2017 at 10.19 PM at the same location and I was charged 11.92$ for the additional 27.1 miles, as per the ONE WAY RENTAL charges Since I was informed that I will be charged as per the IN-TOWN Rental charges and not as per ONE WAY Charges, I filed for a CLAIM and my CLAIM Number is 1530406 My Experience, 1. Manager Jeri Butler Called me and asked regarding it, she said she will look into it but never turned up back. 2. On 09/05/17 when I followed up with UHaul, they said they will look into it and Re-Initiated my claim. Manager Jeri Butler called me up and she left me a voicemail ( I have the recording ) that she asked me to drop off or call by or email. I emailed her the details. 3. I was charged 41.92$ from my discover card on 09/08/17 by Uhaul stating that 11.92$ and 30$ as a Penalty, Even though they had all my details and could have charged 11.92$ alone from my CARD, and this is while the Claim is still under processing. 4. I went to Uhaul location and she was on leave, and her Assistant said she will look into it once she is back. I left her a email again and no response. 5. I called the Uhaul Location thrice and No Response from her. 6. I went to speak to her today(09/18/2017) and she is saying she can’t change the ONE-Way to Intown and she cant give any money back. Total Money Paid – 121$ + 41.92$ = 162.92$ Total Money I should Pay – 29.95 + (57.1*.99) + 15(Taxes ) = 101.5$ I need to Get Back 61.42$ !!!

i’ll start by saying what rating is below poor, because poor isn’t an acceptable rating, but seeing as i had to choose a rating poor will have to suffice. There should be a better system in place between making a reservation and the time frame it takes to receive a phone call letting the customer know where to pick up their reservation. Furthermore, i was told 15 mins and called in after an hour to be given an incorrect location. At the incorrect location a lazy employee by the name of Christian Lopez informed me : 1 they didn’t have the trailer i was looking for and 2: my reservation was elsewhere. Only for me to go to the other location that closed at 4:30pm when my rescerstion was created around 3 and i was told it was to be picked up around 6. So after getting to the location of my reservation and seeing they were closed i was redirected back to the previous location only to find out they in fact had a trailer i needed in abundance and CHRISTIAN LOPEZ could of saved me 2hrs of going back and forth had he provided simple customer service to looking into when that location closed or even just checking his own inventory. to add the cherry on top Christian Lopez was unapologetic or nor empathetic at all and handled the entire situation very non-chalantly which resulted in me asking for the manager/GM only for him to say she was off and even if she was there that she wasn’t OBLIGATED to speak to me...

So first off i was lied to over the phone about the total price of renting a unit. The lady there did give me a free month of rent which i thought was pretty nice of her. So we get to my unit at the end off the hall and open the door too see that its under a stair well and more then half of the room is taken over by the stairs. So my buddy goes back inside to have the room switched because the room obviously wasnt 5x8x8. About 3 minutes later the lady i had talked to comes outside and tells me that he has to leave because hes being disorderly. I get back inside and the manager and a employee are in my friends face cursing and shoving him. Every time i tried to walk my buddy out they would only instigate the situation like a bunch of children. So he leaves and i had talked to lady about switching units and she tells me that nothing is available. So i walked out to fit what i could in half a unit while my friend called corporate. While hes on the phone with them, the manger comes outside and is still talking trash, which the people on the phone heard. The lady on the phone said that there were plenty of available units there so they were not sure why they would of told me there was nothing available to switch.DON"T EVER USE THIS PLACE! The people that work there are complete ghetto trash and could care less about your business.

The general manager "Jerry" was very unprofessional when dropping off a truck that the company didnt do a routine check up on the vehicle when issuing it to us nor did they tell us to check the vehicle before leaving the lot. And we realized there was damage and obvious blood on the truck when we stopped for a break. She called us liars and said she will put a promissory note for over $1000 for the damages that we didnt cause. She never checked if the previous person to rent the car had any damage claims which is very unprofessional charging someone over $1000 without any proof. I hope that no one else had to or has to go through such thing , the customer service was very horrible especially for someone with such a title. Her employee that told me had only been working there for two-weeks was way more professional.(Jaylen) I ended up calling corporate and they said there was a damage claim and the issue was resolved and they will definitely put a complaint on her . I dont usually write reviews but I feel like this should be known and if anyone else happens to go through something similar call corporate because nothing will get resolved with her and youll end up paying for things that you arent responsible for .

They would not honor my reservation when I arrived. I arrived 30 minutes before close, and they said they could not rent me the truck for the 24 hours I reserved because they had no availability of trucks the next day although I could rent one the next morning for all day (???). They could not explain to me why there was no availability the next day for me to keep it overnight but could still rent it from them the next morning. It was almost closing so they couldnt rent the truck out later today, but they still wouldnt rent it to me to keep all night so I could get started loading it. And this is not part of their $50 compensation if they dont have the truck since they did have it so they have no problem screwing people over this way. I left with no truck and no way to move in the morning.
