For a storage unit, above all Im looking for safety and value. This location provides both in spades. The storage units are located behind multiple locked gates, and the place doesnt give the feeling that your units neighbors are able to just knock down the shared wall that many other storage units in the area seem to have. Its a new building (built in 2005 I believe), and the whole place is spotless and clean-feeling. Heck, the climate control is probably more steady than my homes! Finally, the current manager (Eric) was very helpful in walking me through the whole leasing processes, as well as explaining all the relevant details and showing me around the potential units. If youre looking to rent a unit in the Austin area, definitely check this place out. Its barely 20 minutes from downtown (even in traffic), and is a great place to store your extra belongings!

Facilities are actually very nice like all of the other reviews say, but there is just one thing that killed the whole experience for me. I tried to go store a couple of boxes that I had around the house one night, only to discover that they close at 9. That means you cannot access your belongings outside of the hours they have set. In fact, I saw a couple whos car was trapped inside, because they stayed past 9! They entered earlier, but were moving stuff past 9PM and literally could not get their car out because the gate would not open. Its really a major inconvenience. They may call themselves "self storage", but they are more like "self storage, when we feel like it".

Stor Self Storage on Bee Caves Rd. is not your run of the mill storage location. Ive been other places to seemingly save a couple of bucks, but this place is a cut above, and deservedly so. Check your prices over the long haul. The manager Eric, who is top-notch, lives on the premises with his family. The staffs dutiful nature and attention to detail, is akin to having a storage concierge. Erics zeal and attentive nature, treats a role one would assume to be a mundane dead-end position, into that of a career. A truly first class operation!

The Bee Cave Road location for Stor Self Storage is terrific! We have had 2 storage units there in the past year and feel our belongings are completely secure and safe. We had a billing snafu with our bank and the staff was wonderful -- they called us directly to let us know payments werent coming in and were understanding and supportive in helping us get it resolved. It is easily accessible, clean, and a great location.

I have had 4 storage units with Stor. This place is the best facility hands down! The ease of access and layout are great. More important are the employees are tops. I recently moved to California and met the new Manager Todd. He was beyond helpful and went as far as making my leaving as easy as possible. If I were still a Austin resident I would be a Happy Client of Stor. I highly Recommend them!
