Ive used this Public Storage location twice (once as overflow storage when I moved into an extremely small apartment for a year, and now for a couple of months while Im between moves), and have had a great experience both times. Its a convenient location for me, tucked away right off of busier streets, and it seems to be more affordable than comparable storage facilities. During our check-in last December, Philessia was extremely helpful in making us more comfortable with our move. She was honest about how much space we needed, and after thinking about it for an hour, we drove back and she took the time to switch our contract to a bigger unit (even though she was long overdue for her lunch break). Good thing we did, because it turns out that our stuff barely fits in the new space as it is :) She also offered up some good advice to avoid common mistakes, like how to wrap our delicate furniture to protect it during the move and watching the movers to make sure they didnt take longer than they needed so they could charge an extra hour. Somehow, you dont really expect people to remember your name after they help so many customers per week, but she remembered our names the next day when we were moving in - we really appreciated that!

This location is a nice facility that is clean. The staff seemed more then friendly. unfortunately I am left with a bitter taste in my mouth from my experience. After calling around I found the best storage deal in Austin was this location. they offered half price for each and every month if I come sign up. This puts the price about even with the rest of the world other then Austin. I came in to look at the units and sign up but being tight on money I was not 100 percent sure i was going to go that route. I was prepared to commit then and there. I was promised If I left without taking the unit I would have 6 days to get the same rate and I would be called by their staff before my opportunity was gone. I waited but never received a call. a few months later I tracked down their number and explained my situation. I was told that they for sure called me and that they would no longer honor the rate originally promised. Im not sure when and where things changed in America but the days of the customer is always right are long gone. Big business says, "Eat it and like it. We own it all and you have no choice but to deal with it." Im sorry but Im just not a fan!

After Leaving Review: Jenny who I believe is a District Manager, contacted me and seemed genuinely concerned with hearing my story and making things right. While my initial experience may have been poor. I am really happy with the companys strive to make things right. Thank you Jenny. Original Experience: DONT move your stuff here if you have the option. They took the lock off removed it and added a new lock without telling me. They then would not allow the other person paying for the account to get in without me physically being present...even though he had all my account info and talked to me on the phone. I cancelled my account immediately after this encounter only to have fees rack up for not taking the "new" lock off. Now after several months they decide to call and tell me I MUST pay for this and that the lock...Not me closing the account online...defines whether or not I have a unit with them.

I initially called the 800 number, for assistance determining what size unit I would need. I provided a box count, with dimensions of the boxes, and the PS team member did the math. She was right on -- a 5x5 unit was all I needed--and that saved me a lot of $$. At the Reinli location, Morgan is just fantastic. Always helpful, great with follow-up. When I thought I might need a larger unit, she held one on reserve for me. Couldnt ask for any better help. One recommendation for the complex--wedges to prop open the external doors would be helpful. Trying to hold the door open, push the dolly and not lose any boxes is a bit of a trick.

Planning a big move in a couple of weeks and i Came to inquire on boxes and packaging supplies, the representative there greeted me while in the process of helping another customer. After waiting a few minutes i was helped by landri, she offered to assist me and was very helpful and patient in assisting me. She walked me through diffrent savings that public storage offers on supplies i was impressed at the fact that she did all she could. wasnt sure on where id be storing but with the way i was treated not being an actual customer ill be sure to look into storing with public storage in a few weeks.

Ill never go here again. They changed the gate code on me AFTER I payed my monthly bill. There is NEVER anyone in the office. I tried paying my bill online and the website wouldnt let me log into my account, when I requested a password change they said they sent it to my email, I never got it even after 5 times I requested new info. I had to pay over the phone where they charge you $10 extra to pay by phone. Its ridiculous. Worst service Ive ever experienced. Public Storage lost a customer.

Needed an enclosed vehicle storage unit on short notice. Online search for locations and reservation process was fabulous. Adam called me within 10 minutes to confirm the details and arrange for when I would come to the property. Onsite process was smooth and easy and he was super helpful with items needed, lock (I needed one), contract provisions, etc. The only thing that isnt perfect is the automatic gate access hours - wish I could enter later (11pm or midnight instead of 9pm).

I found the employees at this location very sincere. I was so glad Marjorie called me and helped me check out near the end of my lease, I nearly forgot after moving apartments. She was very friendly when I thought I was going to be overcharged, she resolved the issue and was genuinely helpful. Overall I had a great experience at this location. There arent any hidden fees or gimmicks, and if youre late to move out its all pro-rated so youre not locked in for another month. A+

Seemed okay when I moved my stuff in November last year, real friendly caretakers. I noticed the strong smell when the weather got warmer. I was looking through my boxed up possessions one morning and there were literally HUNDREDS of rat turds all in and around my stuff and big gnaw holes, a couple of boxes were soaked with rodent urine and were coming apart along the bottom. I took whatever wasnt ruined with me and left most of my stuff behind. Disgusting.

I went to this public storage yesterday for some info about a storage unit I need for next month. The manager on duty, Nathan, was extremely nice and very helpful. He had an answer to all of my questions and was very knowledgeable about the process I needed to follow when the time comes to rent the right size unit. His customer service was fantastic and I will definitely be returning to next month to follow through with my rental.
