I have three vehicles and have taken all my vehicles to have them cleaned at the Washboys on Garth Rd and have never had a problem until today. I went through the carwash as usual, I purchased the $12 wash with $3 wax. Upon entering through the wash I do the same thing that I have done everytime which is follow the directions of the attendant which is always someone new. They cant keep employees, not good employees anyway. Its nothing but a bunch of toung, immature, and very unprofessional individuals that work there. Now tell me how can a vehicle in neutral, on a conveyor belt come off the rollers? This is exactly what happened, and my vehicle was pushed into the metal pole on the right side. I was so stunned I didnt know what happened, well the idiots up there was trying to tell me to pull forward which was not possible as to my vehicle being in contact with the pole. My truck has a deep scratch from what looks like the water spout dtagging against it. Im trying to tell them that I will need to back up well once I backed up I got out to see what happened and the want to be manager hollerimg saying if you slip and fall Im not paying for it! Not sure what that had to do with what had jus happened to my vehicle but her lack of managerial skills and her very poor and unprofessional manner in which the entire situation was handled ahows how ghetto this carwash and its employees are. Theresa, which was her name was very rude, but her appearance clearly displayed that this is the only job that she could get so she could care less how she comes across to customers. If this is the only person that they would give a manager position to then this establishment clearly does not care about customer service. The employees that were there working on 03/19/2016 are very rude. There are no posting of a customer service number and the employees all seem to have amnesia about who I could contact about the service. It is sad that there are so many people that are so miserable in thier own lives that they are unable to be human and respectful to other people in situations like what happened today. There is nothing welcoming about the employees at this particular washboys on Garth Rd in Baytown, Texas. I will not be visiting here ever again, and to whomever the owner of this establishment os I suggest training your employees on thier customer service skills because they truely need work. This is what happens when companies decide to sell thier business as a franchise. They are insured for when things like this happens and they want to give people a hard time. My vehicle was in neutral, and they tried to say it was my fault. How is a truck in neutral going to come completely off the rollers unless there is a defect in the machine, or the incompetent employee didnt direct me properly on the roller in the first place, or the rollers werent in the right postion around my tires. God truely does not like UGLY, and there is no good foing to come to those individuals in how they handled my issue today or any other customer that has had a issue such as this. I will contact an attorney to see exactly what can be done about this! I recommend making sure you record your expierience if you have your vehicle washed here because if not washboys will try to lay the blame all on the customer, the customer is never right at all if something happens to your vehicle at this carwash! Very poor service!!!!
DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT USE THIS CAR WASH! Horrible experience, we will never come back. Let me start off by saying that this was not the first time we have used Washboys in Baytown. My husband has a lifted truck and there has never been an issue until last month. As we are going through the car wash, I hear a loud noise and I immediately ask my husband if he left something on the bed of his truck that might have flown out. He says no, I didnt. Then, almost immediately my young sibling in the back seat starts to tell me that water is getting on her. We immediately turn around and sure enough there is water coming down. We get out and park by the vacuums, and we noticed that the machines tore the weatherstrip, I go look for a manager and I begin to speak with him (Juan). He says. Well what do you want to about it, I obviously say well fix it. He then says ok, go ahead and get a quote and let me know and we will go from there. I say okay, well what is your number and what else do I need to do. Juan, says well just get me the quote and I will let the owner know and we go from there. This had never happened before so I was unaware of having to fill our an incident report. Yet, Juan never even mentioned it when I asked him what else I needed to do. My husband dropped the quote off within a week. Juan says he will call, days go by and no call, my husband calls his cell, the office and NO ANSWER. At this point, we are obviously being ignored. Then out of the blue, he sends me a text, that they will not cover the damage because they feel it wasnt done there. Juan couldnt even be man enough to call my husband to tell him this. After repeated missed calls from him and voicemails. My husband goes straight over there after work and tells him that he wants to see the video, the video will clearly show or atleast hear the sound when it happened. Well, guess what?! They erased it, because they didnt feel the need to save it after they came to the decision that they will not cover it. Juan is the most unprofessional manager, I have ever met in my entire life! I honestly do not know how he holds that position, but being that the owner probably has the same thought process, makes me understand why they have who they have as management. Needless to say, we will NEVER ever come back here again! For whoever is reading this, please be aware! They will not cover any damage whatsoever, and how were we to know that something was going to happen to the truck. Please do not waste your time coming here!
My windshield was cracked by a fishing lure during the wash. An employee said they had been looking for it after someine called about losing it. I filed a report and they were supposed to call me to replace my windshield. That was Monday and it is Thursday now. I tried calling them but there is no answer and the mailbox is full. I do understand that every business has problems and do not expect perfection but I do expect to reach the company and professionalism from them when handling problems. The manager was great and so were the employees. I believe this may be an owner or managing office problem. I have used this car wash before and have never had a complaint. I would even like to get their monthly special but if they are unreachable, unwilling to call me back and unwilling to pay for my windshield ($500 deductible) then I will never do business with them again and will tell everyone I know. I am paying to have my windshield replaced today. I will update this review based on the companys response or lack of response. *Update 4-17-17: I was contacted over a week after this incident. The person said they had a quote for around $260 to replace my windshield. I told them I had waited to hear from them before replacing my windshield and could not wait longer. I offered to send them my receipt and was given an email address to send it to. I was told I would be contacted in the next couple of days. It has now been almost a week with no further contact from this company. I just emailed them again.
