This is my very first gym membership. I however have gone to my colleges gym while I was attending school at UT Arlington. I know this gym doesnt have towels, but thats not a problem for me. Everyone brings the items they need, and nothing seems to be banned or frowned upon. The gym atmosphere is great, everyone here is there to fully workout. I havent seen people staring or laughing at those, who seem to be beginners. Everyone at the front desk greets you,as you come in, and also say bye when you leave. I like the locker situation also, just bring a lock and leave your belongs in an empty locker. Just make sure you grab your belongings after your done for the day. One of my favorite things at this gym is the sauna room. This is definitely a good new experience for me. Plenty of workout machines, and no one hogs the equipment. The price is fairly cheap, and I havent experienced any negative feedback yet. They now have WiFi.

Im not sure why this place is suddenly getting a bunch of bad reviews. I pay my monthly fee on time, come in & work out whenever I want & have never had a problem in the year that Ive been going to this gym. It is a no frills gym (no internet or towels provided) with a very good price & I find it to be a great value. I feel it is cleaner than a lot of more expensive gyms that Ive belonged to in the past & the time period involved with fixing broken equipment is reasonable. As for the staff, they say hello when I come in & good bye when I leave. Ive never had an issue there so I have never had a reason to need anything more than this. If youre willing to pay triple the price to have employees treat you like youre special, then you might be happier somewhere else. If you want a cheap simple gym with a clean environment & a good variety of equipment then I feel that it is hard to beat this place.

Really do love this gym! Not only is it a super reasonable price, but it has so much bang for your buck! I love all the classes they have & cycling sessions. The sauna is also another great touch. Even when it super busy, there is still enough equipment, weights, machines, etc to keep you going! The staff is pretty nice and the place is always kept very clean, (unlike a lot of gyms here in DFW). Really enjoy my membership here! Only negative I have to say is that some of the music that is played isnt very motivating or not a workout style, would love to hear some "Physical" or "Eye of the Tiger" style music sometimes too, but I guess that is what headphones are for. I have gotten all my family & friends to come to this gym, we all love it!

Came in for a tour and info about the facility (feeling ready to sign up today after just my online research). Front desk was extremely polite and nice. But once the sales rep came in she was rude. Acted annoyed she had to talk with me and walk me around the facility. She briefly answered my questions, showed no enthusiasm or desire for me to be interested enough to sign up. I basically initiated the whole walkthrough since she barely talked and just had an annoyed look on her face. If I were the manager seeing people turn away possible business Id be livid. She was enough to turn me away with her lack of care that I even came in. Very discouraging when considering signing up and enough to make me search other gyms.

Hear this first, this gym and the staff here are fantastic. Thats why I wanted to give this more than one star. However, the training company they contract out the personal training to is horrible. DONT GO HERE FOR PERSONAL TRAINING. The staff I signed up to work with quite after 2 months, they brought in new people, wanted to change my session lengths, wanted to start over after the 2 months, wouldnt let me cancel, and wouldnt give me a refund after a wasted month of service. Again, great gym and I am keeping my membership there, but stay away from the shady training company they have there.

When I moved from Ohio to Texas in January one of he first things I did was look for a gym. Fitness Nation was near so naturally I wanted to come here. My dad and I came in to sign up and we were wowed by the amenities that came with $10 a month. My dad cancelled his membership at 24 Hour Fitness to come here. Besides the friendly staff that make you feel like family when you come in, Fitness Nation has a sauna, basketball court, supplement store, included fitness classes, and all the necessary equipment. I wouldnt trade this gym for any other! Thanks Mo and the rest of the staff!

Love it. Been going here since last summer! Still it a fairly new fitness gym, they wont have a lot of classes but they do have them. One thing I do admire are the members that come in have gym etiquette. They dont hog and if you do come a busy time they are nice enough to share an equipment with you. Though the employees keep the equipment back into place, the members put back the equipment to keep it organized and clean. Love the price for how big the gym is with loads of equipment so theres no way you cannot get on an equipment.

What is there to complain about for the price? Nothing. Close to my home and this place has all the stuff you would need including full size basketball court which is a necessity and its very well maintained facility. Majority of the staff is very friendly and down to earth. As long as Im getting a bargain deal, no complaint from me regardless how I get treated. If your complaining because you felt like you did not get treated like a celebrity then go pay 60 bucks a month like a moron at lifetime fitness.

This my gym!! I was a member here when it 24 hour fitness and i love it even more now that its Fitness Nation. The price cant be beat and the staff is super nice and always greets you on the way in and says have a great day on the way out!! A lot of the same folks I will see everyday working there butts off to be healthy. There consistency motivates me to be better, to work harder, and wow they look good! This keeps me focused and tells me that I too can achieve my goals. :)

Great gym, but I wish they stressed members cleaning the equipment after they use it. There are only several spray bottles around and there arent even any signs asking people to wipe down the equipment after use. When I was at Planet Fitness, they had spray bottle and paper towel stations everywhere and they stressed the importance of wiping down the equipment after use. Theres nothing worse than getting to a bench and seeing a puddle of sweat on it.

I have been a member of several gyms, but Fitness Nation is by far the best experience Ive had. Besides the low-cost, no contract membership, there is a ton...and I do mean a TON of equipment. Even at its busiest, I never have to wait to get on a machine, bench, or use a weight. The staff is always courteous and friendly and they are quick to get a down machine fixed. I will not go to any other gym. Fitness Nation is it for me.
