Ive been a member at this gym for about a year now. I love it, I moved from fitness connection in Irving and I hated it. This gym is not perfect no gym is. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. Ive gone at all times, early in the morning, mid day, afternoon, night and even really late, around 2 to 4 am. Any gym that you go to, the peak times will be anywhere between 3 pm and 8 pm, this one is no different. It is a smaller gym but it has been expanded lately. Despite it being small its a nice gym, the sauna is always open, the locker rooms are sometimes a bit dirty but their cleaning crew is great, I talk to them every once in a while. My husband is a big guy, hes huge, hes been to every gym known to mankind and he loves this gym. As for people complaining about big body builders or annoying people, youre going to find that at any gym you go to (except planet fitness lol) and hello this gym is in Arlington, which is known for bodybuilders and competitors. People like to nit pick at every single little thing. Ive been to 24 hr fitness, I hated it, I wasnt even there for a week, fitness connection is a joke, planet fitness shouldnt even still be in business. No gym is going to be perfect and this one is great. On the plus side, theyre ALWAYS open and its 24 hours. I think the only days theyre closed are on Christmas, new years day and thanksgiving. If youre looking for a cheap gym that still has the qualities of an expensive one but so much better and with friendly staff, definitely check this one out. The location is Bedford is even nicer and newer, and its also $10 a month, or you can join both of these for $20 a month which is still relatively cheap. Oh and P.S. I dont work there.

Even though this place save it for $10 a month period I got a membership and I never used it not once. Because then I had a heart attack. So I called them and said I want to suspend my account because of course I was wearing a heart monitor. And I cant work out and why would you want me to work out at your facility a heart patient. Without receiving a doctors note to clear you and cover you on any anything and any liability. Well six months later I got a charge of $160 to my credit card I called them and asked them they needed to refund it because I didnt use it. The owner told me that hes not going to refund it period because I signed up and I need to pay and I told him I had a heart attack and was on the heart monitor and you wouldnt want me there and I hadnt been there he says too bad Im going to keep the money period so I contacted Bank of America and told him about what happened they refunded the money and blocked him from being able to take money out of my account again. I would never go back to this place and would never recommend it to someone anyone who would treat someone that way is dirty to me

Pros: Clean, new, 24 hours, Well priced membership, Staff is nice, Staff has a crew that goes around periodically to re rack the weights that others dont, motivating music. Cons: Meat heads who leave heavy weight on the equipment, It becomes crowded at the usual times that you think it would, the area closest to the dry sauna is really warm the walls dont really do a good job of keeping the heat contained in that area, it could be a bit cooler in the gym all around (personally if i over heat i get sick). The parking lot is a bit sketchy and shared with that pool hall right next to the gym (on leg day upfront parking is nice to have) and the lights turn off around 5:02 a.m. in the morning while its still pitch black BUT they do have cams pointed at the lot as well as the APD randomly stopping inn and cruising the lot. I have noticed a couple of ppl who do drop heavy weight, thats a bit annoying. All in all the gym is good, deff worth it being 24 hours but that can change at any point in time if you read through the contract. If the 24 hours go so does my membership.

This is the best gym Ive ever had a membership to. I had a membership at LA Fitness in Arlington for 6 months and was really disappointed. The price was outrageous, it was always crowded, and their cardio equipment made lots of noise. I stumbled across Fitness nation and I was stoked. $10/month $10 down and a cleaning fee once or twice a year. Cant recall the specifics, but its negligible. They have top notch equipment, lots of squat racks, bench presses, free weights, and machines. Their cardio equipment is also great, no rattling, noises, or machines that are frequently down for repair. There is a sauna, locker rooms, hand sanitizer, showers and everything else you could possibly need. The gym patrons are friendly, everyones pretty sociable. Only about half of the people walk around with headphones in, compared to 100% at most gyms. Even at 5-6pm the gym isnt overly crowded. The only thing I dont like is that they play their music loudly. But its a good mix of music.

This gym is always crowded because it is cheap. You have to get in line to work out especially at evening times. Parking is pain in this location. The space is not designed for a gym. It might be good for a restaurant. You dont feel comfortable working out in this gym. I canceled my membership last May. However, today is August 8th and Fitness Nation is still charging me a monthly fee. That is awful and not professional. I already disputed this fee last month and got the credit back but it seems that I need to further keep an eye on my account and call my bank so I can stop this absurdity. By the way, most of the 5 stars reviews you find here are written by the staff members themselves or their friends. You can notice that easily when you go to this gym you will see the same faces that are writing these reviews.

When I first signed up with Fitness Nation, I was very pleased and impressed with the facility. However, I have since come to loathe them. The staff I have dealt with are extremely RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNTRUSTWORTHY. My sales person initially lied to me when I first signed up for memebership, back in January, and today, when I called to get the phone number to their corporate offices, I was met with such attitude, resistance and just downright rudeness, It took all of my strength to contain myself. All I wanted was a phone number. He didnt know whether I wanted the number for a good reason or a bad reason. He was unwilling to assist me, he was rude and extremely condescending. I cannot wait to cancel my membership, since apparently, he couldnt do it.

I like this place a great deal. The machines are always clean and well maintained, the staff is mostly friendly with a few exceptions - lots of college kids passing through, instead of dedicated team members. (This doesnt include the management, however), The price is affordable, and you money goes far. I definitely love that the staff isnt "up your butt" about certain rules, and no one stops you from "grunting" like those other clubs. What Id love to see is a Wi-Fi connection so I can watch training videos on YouTube or hear my own music, and Id love to see the mens locker room and bathroom undergo a FULL refurbishment. These things would make my experience better.
