Went back in February to join LA Fitness again after being out of the DFW area for over two years. Really only wen to this location because I love the spin classes. Sat down signed up with Mr. Houston W (wont give me his full name must be top secret) and we signed up, not once did he ever inform us that it was a membership to only that location. Last time I had a membership over 2 years ago, you could go to any LA Fitness location with you normal membership plan. I live in Richland Hills so thinking my membership is good at all locations, I went there and was informed that no to use all locations it was a higher monthly fee and I would need to cancel the other membership and re-enroll into the new one paying the dues up front for a total of $204.00, but since it was still within the 30 days time frame I could get a refund for that first membership that Mr. Houston set up in Euless. We did that and changed it to the higher plan done deal. I went to my cycle class and before it started, I remembered thy had towels they gave away with new memberships and I forgot mine at home so I went to ask for one. I approached Mr. Houston W. and asked but he said they no longer have those and only have ball caps, okay no big deal. Since He was in front of me I told him about the whole membership ordeal and said "you forgot to tell us that our initial membership was only for this location". He looked at me and said" No you didnt pay attention to what I was saying and thats why you dont remember. I said no believe me I heard what you said and you never informed us it was only to this Gym. He then got super arrogant and rude and said why are you calling me a liar? I informed him that I didnt say he was a liar, just that he did not mention it and since no one is perfect he left that out of the enrollment process. Houston again more ill-mannered than before, "So your calling me a liar? I again said no, I am just saying no one is perfect and people make mistakes. He said no he has been doing this over 5 years and never makes mistakes like that. I answered and said we all make mistakes because we are human and unless he is God he does makes mistakes and asked him was he was so abrasive? I at that point had more than enough of the attitude and asked him who his boss was, He said "I am the boss at this location, there is no one above me. I asked for the corporate information, and told him as a customer I am offended by the manner in which he is speaking to me, and without Gym members there is no business and no salaries to be paid out to the General Managers like him. I also told him he needs to learn how to deal with customers because his attitude and approach is offensive. He then smiled and gave me the thumps up and said " yeah Ill start working on that". All this infront of his new trainees, how about that for professional leadership? I was so enraged by this point I had to walk away. Went to the front desk where the Operations Manager was seated and asked him, first what the mans name was, which Houston wouldnt give me and told him about that conversation and said I will not be spoken to like that by some snot nosed little punch whos salary is made up of membership dues. He then says well it seems like your the one who is rude...Say what? Yes I called him a snot nosed punk because by this point I was very angry and yes he acted like a snot nosed punk. I finally got a phone number to corporate and will be calling that number tomorrow for sure. The customer service at this location is not a one but a -10 in my opinion and experience. I do have to say the LA fitness in Hurst in nothing like this, they are courteous and behave in a professional manner unlike the crew at the Euless location.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. Below is a review I left a few months ago. At the time it was recently remodeled and I thought Id give them time to fix some BIG issues. Needless to say they did not. I went to the gym on Jan 16th 2017 only to fine RED ANTS in EVERY SHOWER. Not to mention the BLACK MOLD has gotten worse. The gym definitely has a great appearance in the workout area BUT dont let that sell you. Take a look in the locker rooms. Im shocked that they dont put effort into this part of the facility especially with 24 hour fitness NOW OPEN across the street. I will be checking out that gym immediately. Im surprised this gym hasnt been reported. The gym was remodeled in early Oct 2016. This was a much needed remodel as the gym was pretty run down and poorly taken care of. Since the remodel they have done a much better job of keeping it clean. All the cardio equipment is BRAND NEW which is a blessing. The Kids Club was also remodeled which was nice to see. The staff in the kids club are great. They always remember my kids names and do their best to keep the kids entertained. I will say the overall staff that works on the weekends are much better than the staff during the week. The staff during the week in Kids Club and the front desk are less than personable. Half the time they dont even acknowledge you when you walk in. There is one newer guy that works in the early morning that is absolutely awesome. Hes always happy and engaging first thing in the morning, which impressive for 5am. I only have two issues really with the gym. One is the location//size of the personal training area. Im all for personal training but the location is not great. Its huge and right in the middle of the gym. 90% of the time nobody is using the area BUT dont think this means its open for anyone. Oh no, they make it known that its a personal training area only. My advice, if nobody is being "trained" allow others to use the area as its taking up a good chunk of space. Now going back to the "cleanliness" of the gym. They do a great job of keeping the workout areas clean. However, they still neglect the locker rooms as if people dont go in them. The mens locker room is usually a hot mess. Running out of toilet paper, paper towels and dont get me started on the showers. The showers should be ripped out and replaced. They have so much grime on them I dont think theyre cleanable. Not to mention some of them have black mold. So yeah....enter at your own risk. All and all its a much better gym now that its been redone. I definitely would recommend not using the showers or the locker rooms unless its an absolutely must. Outside of that the gym is nice for everything I expect.

Went to this gym for a year and half or so. Pros -Lots of equipment to use, both cardio and free weights, along with plenty of machines -Staff is pretty cool for the most part. -If you dont have any issues with sales people, price is somewhat reasonable compared to some other gyms. Cons -Horrible smell for the most part. I realize its a gym, and Im not talking about sweat smell, Im talking about other smells like feces -A lot of times I went in, the leg machines besides Leg Press were out of commission, sometimes months at a time. -Wanting to get a game of Basketball in can be hell at times. Very busy most of the time, lots of people not owning up to who called to play the next game. -Canceling membership was a little more extravagant than it had to be. Overall, not a bad gym, but I definitely had a better experience with 24 hour fitness, but I came here because most of the time the basketball courts at 24 hour were reserved and therefore I couldnt play often.
