This office is ran about as professional as a snow cone stand. The office not only LOST my original PO Box application from just 2 months earlier, but had no computer record of it, AND allowed another person to rent MY box online! I showed them the keys they gave me and my mail with my address on it. The clerk said she would rekey it and call me back later that day. After i didnt receive a call back I returned the next day. She was at lunch and the Post Master was there. They kept asking for my receipt. I asked why the United States Postal Service, a Federal institution hinged on my personal record keeping to validate its own services and failure, thereof. The Post Master was rude and demanded they were working on it. I asked how I would know since there were so many break downs in their procedures and performance, including the phone call I was told I would receive. They were rude, Post Master looked like a dish washer not a Federal employee. Horrible service. Ism going paperless as much as I can. They are clearly going broke and losing on every level. They should have met Ross Perots terms after they approached him to revamp their system prior to his presidential bid. Hes a business genius and they CLEARLY NEED the HELP!!

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Honestly flat out lied to by the person sending my package to China as well as Sandy. I was told my package had tracking and insurance -absolutely not the case. Called and told to come in to receive our refund for the lost package. Came in and Sandy stated they could not issue a check in that amount, even though the gentleman who called from your branch stated you would. Sandy sent me home with paperwork to file an online claim. That claim cannot be done due to their lack of tracking #. Unbelievable! My sons hard earned money is out the door due to their lies - multiple lies. I did file a claim via phone (by the way select to complain about your carrier to speak to an Agent) and chances are, their deception will have my son loosing all of his money. Truly disgusted. On another note - love the pink paper stating "Attempt to Deliver" note in the mailbox when we are all on the drive way - can get out of the vehicle to deliver 2 40# bags of feed yet not a package that has to remain ice cold. To then head to the USPS and they did not keep it cold either. Just Wow!

I would give them a zero if I could. I was waiting for my pain medications to be delivered from the VA and they NEVER arrived. The VA tracked the package and said the carrier left a note on my gate that she tried to deliver meds, which is BS because I was home the entire day and a note was not left on the gate. The VA staff member also told me that there would be no further attempts to send out the meds. I was told that I had to go to the post office and find out what happened. How in hell can I go and find out what happened when I am in pain? My point? If the carrier stated she posted the note on the gate, she is full of s***. So, I get on the phone and find myself in atomated hell trying to call the post office and when I finally press the number to the department I am calling, I am told by an automated voice that my time wait is one hour 7 minutes. Really? Are they seriously thinking any live sane person would hold for one hour 7 minutes?

Unlike the other reviewers, I had a very positive experience today with the Boerne Post Office. In fact, I had three positive experiences. I have a very important piece of mail that is being delivered and the sender did not put my apartment number on it. I called the main number of the PO and got a very nice man who listened politely and then made sure I got the number of the Carrier Annex. I called that number next and got another very polite man who quickly put me on with my main carrier who was also very professional and polite. The carrier is keeping an eye out for my mail and has assured me he will put it in my box. The whole experience was very positive and all the people I interacted with were helpful, professional, and polite. I find it to be a very nice PO, with very nice personnel.

I have never been to a post office that shuts the door in peoples faces with a minute left! How rude and disrespectful!! Is it really gonna hurt you to help somebody a minute past closing?? I walked in at 11:58 (they close at 12. Mind you I was busy with other errands and thought I would make it) I was holding the second door ready to walk in. Just to pick up a package thatll take about a minute. when an employee grabbed the door and said we are closed... WITH 2 mins to spare!!! Then proceeded to shut the door and lock it. This isnt the first time its happened. If you cant handle helping customers at the last minute (there about 6 people the didnt make it along with me) then you dont need to work there! Boerne post office needs to be more cautious about who they hire!!

I would give 0 stars if I could. We have had MULTIPLE delivery problems within our neighborhood since we moved in 2 years ago. It even got to the point where we had Joe (the supervisor for the delivery carriers) come out to an HOA meeting so that we could voice our concerns for our poor delivery. In the past 4 weeks, I have had packages for multiple people delivered to my house. So now I spend my afternoons doing the job of the post office!! Nothing has been done to fix any of these problems and then when someone does call me back they call my house at 10 PM! I will pay extra money and even pay friends and family to ship through UPS or FedEx because I fear my packages not making it me. I would not recommend this office or delivery carriers at all.

The worst customer service perhaps in the world. They never attempt to deliver anything. If you are lucky, you get an orange slip to pick it up, and then they cant find it. They tell you to take it up with your carrier. Of course, no one knows who their carriers are or when they come. Apparently, we are to sit by the mailbox all day in hopes of catching a glimpse. This is not unusual for them, it is the norm, as you can see from other reviews. We had something very important being delivered that is now lost who knows where. Why do they get to input "delivered in the computer on every package that arrives at their facility, and then lose it? It is NOT delivered till we have it. I would call, but they never answer the phone....never.

I buy a lot of things on ebay from sellers who offer free shipping. That deal always goes out via USPS and more often than not it takes about 2 days more than it should because the pkg is not delivered on due date by carrier. Online info says "out for delivery" but it never makes it. In the latest fiasco their online tracking info said that a notice was left and there was no secure place for package. I have an oversized mail box. The pkg was a simple 10x13 envelope which I receive all the time? So off I go for another trip to the post office. "Its either at the incoming facility or on the truck". Same story - over and over. If the web site says "out for delivery" - then it should be delivered.
