I just cancelled my 24 Hour Fitness gym membership after three years of lifting weights at this Trinity Mills and Marsh Lane location. Great, friendly staff, no problems there. The problem is the old, rusted out and often broken equipment. I just got tired of it. This location is long overdue for a complete renovation with all new equipment. Want an even WORSE experience with 24 Hour Fitness rusted, broken equipment? Go check out the Addison location at Belt Line and the Tollway! Thats what I did and it just convinced me to give up on the 24 Hour Fitness brand completely, despite the nice friendly people who work at these locations and the serious weightlifters who -- like me -- just want to get it in, work hard, and get out of there whatever time of day it might be. YouFit and Planet Fitness are opening up 30+ new gyms every month around the country with all new equipment -- 24 Hour Fitness cannot take one week to shut down and install all new equipment at these two North Dallas locations? Theyve been collecting monthly dues from all the members for years using all the same old, broken down equipment. The funds are there to reinvest in these locations and do right by their loyal, paying members. They simply have chosen not to do so in a timely manner. When I called Corporate to cancel my membership, the woman was very nice and friendly. She did not ask WHY I was cancelling. I guess Corporate already knows and just cannot get its financing and act together to invest more quickly in these two North Dallas locations. As Trump would Tweet: "Sad!"

Where to start... I got signed up for 24 months without knowing (unfortunately) I was told "sign here, sign here, sign here" I didnt read I was in a hurry but neither was I explained the 24month contract. I tried cancelling and was told I had to pay full 24 months upfront lmao!!! "NO!! I spoke with the GM (Steve) he was rude and had no customer service we got a bit personal, (I didnt appreciate the way he was speaking to me). I had to call corporate and they couldnt help, a supervisor was supposed to contact me back and never did. I decided to go workout since Im "bonded" under "contract", I go in and ran across Art (Personal Trainer) he mentioned to me the complain I filed and was friendly and very helpful. Till the date Art has been very respectful and helpful, because of that I convinced myself to stay. If it wasnt for Art who knows how many more times I would have been upset about the way Mr.Steve handles his work. I am very happy that I came across Art he deserves a 5star rating from me but because I was handled unprofessionally by few I gave it lesser than 5star rating. Thank you Art for your advice and help, you have my 5stars!!!!! (No doubt) thank you!.

Horrible Experience . Please dont use this gym.. Sales person is just looking to meet his target and will hide critical information.. Joined the gym on 31st July .Before joining I specifically asked if I can access all the facilities or not... Sales person confirmed with a big smile that I can access any Gym.On 1st August I went to the Super Sport Gym in Castle hills and to my surprise I was told that to use this Gym I need to pay $10/month extra. I called up the operational Manager (Michael) and he told that there was a miscommunication and he will get me enrolled to the Castle hills gym in 2 days as he will need approval from the GM Stephanie.I waited for 2 days and then called the Gym 4-5 times on Friday but neither Michael nor Stephanie received my call.I called back again on Saturday and the receptionist asked me to call back on Monday. I called back again on Monday and came to know that Michael has left the organization and the new Operation manager didnt agree to the deal that I had with the old manager.Cancelled my membership immediately. Will never ever opt for 24 hrs fitness. Will suggest to avoid such unethical business organization.

This place has the worst ever customer service. First of all first thing and the last thing they say is a lie. They just want you to be the members but they will sweet talk you in and waste ur money. This one Hispanic guy was so rude, when I asked if there was just a free trial to try out the gym before I make any payment he said there was no daily pass anymore. I came because my friend has a free pass under his name which the people lied to them about. Later this Hispanic guy say there is a 15 daily pass. But I can get u for 10. But 10 is what u pay per month and tries to sweet talk, then when I said I only came to check out with he trials she cussed and was being very rude. I walked out of that dirty place. Do not go there there are many better places. They are not professional at all and if u r going for cheap price, there are better places with better prices for humans to go. This place is unethical. If I can I would not even give one start. They are not worthy of anything.

Im a current member and will be until my contract runs out. This location has decent enough equipment, but it far below the bar set by other clubs in the area. The elliptical machines are below residential grade. This means they are flimsy with 18-inch strides. Most gyms have commercial machines with 24-inch strides. The free-weight section is small and cramped. If youre just starting out, this gym may be ok for you. But for those looking to really get in shape or maintain fitness, I suggest you avoid. Also for some reason, about 50% of the people there, at any given time, are actually there to be seen and not work out. Others get on cardio equipment and yell on their cell phones. The staff and "personal trainers" dont even know the equipment. I had to explain the machines to the guy trying to sell me a membership.

I have a membership to LA Fitness, I just moved to the area and this location is much more convenient. Its been years since I went to a 24 hour so I wanted to check it out before I cancel my current membership and pay a new initiation fee, first and last month and a yearly fee. So I signed up for a 3 day pass and go into the location. The girl at the front tells me to go tog at computer and sign up as a guest...which I had already done. Then the most rude employee Ive ever meet (Albert Torres) walked up to me from behind and asks me if Ive been there before. I tell him no I have a membership at LA and looking to change. He takes the computer mouse from me backs out of the screen and tells me to go pay $15.00. Ill gladly drive to an LA fitness to not have to be around rude employees!

Ive been to 6 24 Hour Fitness in the area, Arlington, Grand Prairie, Irving, Valley Ranch, Addison, & this location, & I must say this is my favorite 24. Its not the "fanciest," & hasnt been re-innovated like the Irving one recently has but thats why I love it. The "fancier" ones attract a lazier atmosphere, people go to those to walk on treadmills and stretch, I go to lift, and I can do so comfortably in this spacious gym with plenty of equipment. This 24 has the biggest variety in equipment, with more than one of each so youre not waiting for the one machine in the whole gym and a ton of dumbbells. Its not the "prettiest" of the 24s but you can def get a good workout in & thats why I love it. Oh & Ive never seen it dirty, only thing I suggest is adding newer water fountains
