This is going to sound weird, but I wanted to share my experience about Don’s Collision Center with a non wreck/repair issue. Weve been remodeling our house and I wanted to have a button mounted on a stainless steel switch plate to open and closed the garage door and searched all over town and stopped at several store and shops trying to find someone that could drill a 5/8s inch hole into the stainless steel plate. (I admit I’m cheap and didn’t want to spend $20 on a drill bit for a one time use). Driving away from Lowes, I spotted Dons Collision Center up on the hill and figured it was worth a try. When I asked them if they had a drill big enough they said they would take a look. After looking and trying different ideas, the owner, Don, came to the rescue and drilled me a perfect hole using a bit that drills differnt sizes depending on how far in you push it. These guys were all great and when I asked what I owed they said dont worry about it. I was pleasantly surprised, especially after they had 3 or 4 employees working on it trying to solve my problem for a good 20 or 30 minutes. If they go this far out of the way to help someone that’s not even a customer, I’m sure they would go to even greater lengths to fix what they really do for a living. While I hope I never need their services, I can promise if I ever do have a auto accident that I’d have it towed straight to Don’s. Great clean facilities and super friendly caring employees!!!

Thank you!!! Dons Collision is the BEST!!! I have been coming here for about 15 years for fender benders when I was a teenager and a few big accidents. (about 6 times) After going to the dealership and another body shop years ago I will never take my car anywhere else. My car always looks better when I pick it up then it did before the accident. I am very picky and I think their work is flawless and lasts forever. I just picked up my dark gray jeep today that was side-swiped and it looks brand new on that side. The paint matches perfectly and there is not a single scratch, dent, or crease anywere in sight. The staff is friendly and informative and the lobby/waiting room is nice and comfortable. As soon as I have cleared everything with my insurance, they always take care of the rest and it is always easy and accurate. The time estimate they give has also always been exactly what they say and the communication is great if something comes up. They will give you plenty of time to pick up your car and I even once had someone stay late so I could get my car and drop off the rent car that day since I could not be there before they closed. Most importantly, YOUR CAR WILL LOOK AMAZING! I will never go anywhere else! Thank you Dons!

Initially, they were quite helpful with an insurance claim. However, the claim has been a nightmare, which is not totally Joe Hudson Collisions fault. On the other hand, I had confirmed with my insurance company, multiple times, that the estimate for damage written by Joe Hudson Collision Center would work fine for my insurance company to write me a check. Well after going back to Joe Hudsons a second time (went in on a Friday) I was told I would have to wait to have my estimate finished until Monday. I never received a call and had to place multiple calls to them until I finally got in touch with them the next Friday (a week from when I took the vehicle in THE SECOND TIME mind you). I was then told that they could not write an estimate for my insurance company to then write me a check (WHICH I KNOW IS A LIE BECAUSE I CONFIRMED WITH MY INSURANCE COMPANY THAT THEY CAN IN FACT WRITE A CHECK FROM JOE HUDSONS ESTIMATE). The people I dealt with were all very friendly, but ultimately they didnt get back to me when they said they would, lied about what they could/couldnt do, and have dragged out the issue even further.

I have taken all my cars to Dons throughout my time in Carrollton. They usually do a good job, but I recently took my Corvette up there when some person decided to run a red light. I could have picked a body shop that was covered by the insurance company but I decided to go with them because of the past experience. I got the car back after they fixed the front bumper and fender. The car is black and the paint was not blended to math the rest of the car properly. I called four body shops after I got my car back to see if blending black paint is possible (it is). There was a significant difference between the parts they fixe and the rest of the car. I washed the car and found out they had scratched the hood (hood wasnt damaged in the car accident). They replaced one headlight and didnt aim the projector properly so the light was pointing in the air. I pointed out the paint to them and they told me that they are not able to fix it. I know people throughout Carrollton along with other Corvette owners whom I will inform of my experience and will make sure none of their cars will go to Dons anymore.

The front end of my car was clipped in a parking lot, and the other partys insurance company recommended Dons. I was very pleased with my interactions with the staff as well as with the work done. Everyone I talked to was pleasant and knowledgeable, and the waiting area was inviting and comfortable. My car looks better than it did before the accident, and was back to me in less than a week. They lost my front license plate, but did everything they could to find it. They were very apologetic and offered to reimburse me for the new plate. I would highly recommend Dons Collision to anyone looking for great service and excellent collision repair!

Ive been taking my cars here for about 13 years now. Ive had three accidents during that course of time and my car has always looks and run as though it were brand new after each respective accident. I also take my cars here for maintnence issues and they have always been very upfront with me with regards to whatever the malfunction is. I began going to Dons after I heard that Halliburton used to take their fleets to him for repair work.(not sure if they still do) When a large, international company does that, it ususally indicates a very reputable business.

Had a minor not at fault accident and decided to take my Infiniti here to get repaired as they are a guaranteed repair shop with my insurance company. Extremely easy to set up the appointment with my adjuster. Brought my vehicle in, left in a rental in less than 15 minutes. Not even 3 days later, my car was complete and well detailed. Cant even tell that there was any damage to my car. Its obvious they take care in their work and the paint finish is superb... Overall, one of the best experiences Ive had at a body shop. Highly recommended

I thought it was a CV axle needed changing, but it was a wheel bearing needed changing. It was in at 7:45 am and ready to pick up about 2pm, as promised. They called with update early in the morning, and then as soon as it was finished. Prices were in line with others and as expected. MY CAR IS RUNNING SO SMOOTHLY NOW!!! NO MORE SHAKING AND RATTLING! I will keep my car longer instead of trading in, because the ride is so smooth again.
