I just moved here and chose this salon because I use Aveda products. Now I am not naive, I know that stylists cant possibly know exactly how you like your hair the first time they work on you. BUT two-tone hair is unacceptable. I was advised to go the more expensive route for a full new color so I would get even, n-i-c-e color...fine. What I got was burgundy red/brown roots (I wanted red tone chocolate brown) and BLACK ends. The color is fine if you look at me from a distance with your eyes squinted but not up close. The worst part is the cut. It is short and VERY uneven, when I specifically said I did not want it short. They said they would "fix" it but when something is done so horribly the first time around you cant exactly trust that it will be better the second.

My haircut was amazing! Im relatively new to the San Antonio area and Ive been to a few salons looking for one that would suit me. I finally decided to look online for reviews that could direct me in some direction. Now Ive found it. The stylists and staff at Bangz are incredibly nice and knowledgeable. They even make great suggestions if you are unsure of what is right for you. Eleazar did wonders with my thick and heavy hair. I definitely walked out impressed! (I cant comment on coloring because I didnt get one, but the cut was really great.)

i have been looking for a new hair salon to switch to. i have been to bangz two times so far and i have been extremely happy with the service i have received. my stylist holds conversations with me and seems to be very knowledgeable. i love the way my hair looks when i leave the salon and i plan on going back. i get my hair done every 5 days so i trust them to take care of me. i have to get color soon and i am looking forward to the result. they are all friendly and professional and i would recommend them to anyone looking for a salon

Ive been going to Bangz for almost a year now. They see me every two weeks, and I love the atmosphere. Eleazar cuts my hair and I love how attuned he is to my needs, and is always willing to work with me! Coming here for a haircut is the highlight of my month (x2!). I really highly recommend this place. Miki knows the products really well, even convinced me to try a lot of new stuff I never would have, and their family atmosphere makes it easy to just enjoy yourself and have fun. I love to go in and talk about books and movies!

I have gone to this salon on repeated occasions, always giving it the benefit of the doubt, always leaving overcharged and disappointed! The color is always inconsistent, cuts lacking style or integrity, and tons of attitude from the owner. If you are looking for a old maid hair cut and blow dry this is the place for you. There is no style or substance being offered in this over priced salon. Dont waist your hard earned money or time, you will only be let down time and time again and walk away looking below average!

This place is full of unprofesional and unexperienced people. I really dont know how this hair salon is open to public and even carry the Aveda brand. I couldnt regret more having gone to this place. I ask for layers and it just looks so messy and uneven. The color they put just fainted after like three washes. The worst thing is they charge you a lot lot for awful low bad quality. $300.00 for messy hair cut + color that goes away. If you dont want to waste your money, dont even try this place.

As always, the ambiance and professional manner are obvious from the moment one walks into the salon. Eleazar Guerra has been my haircutter/stylist for more than 13 years. I have NEVER, EVER in all the time Ive visited this salon had a disappointing cut. My hair is quite fine and could pose a problem to a lesser-qualified stylist. I highly recommend BANGZ. Couldnt be happier with this salon.

I cannot imagine anyone going away from Bangz unhappy. I am the worst customer, I never know what I want, I dont take care of my hair, and my schedule sucks. Bangz staff works with me every time. They go out of their way to schedule my appointments, have always made a great cut easy for me to take care of, and the color is fab!!!!!! I have never felt my time or my money were wasted.

Ive been going to Bangz for quite sometime now, and I was just looking up the phone number and saw negative reviews. That is nuts. If you are ever unhappy, go back and they will listen to you and fix it for free. The staff is unpretentious, competent, and lovely to be around. They rock.

Bangz is a great salon. In particular, if youre interested in coloring your hair (just beginning or changing up your regular routine), Bangz always does a great job. Convenience of having Aveda products on hand is a plus.
