I loved this place at first. Great location, polite staff, and it looks like a nice place. The children spend much of the day strapped in a community chair where they eat and watch TV. The get nap time, and play time outside and inside but I fail to see where my child is learning french or spanish or manners. Being crammed up in a chair all day probably causes behavioral problems with the kids. Children injure each other and themselves often and the staff seem oblivious to the fact even though they supposedly have policies in place to prevent such things. They are happy to see me pick up my kid and make polite hellos and goodbyes, but only really stopped me to talk when they wanted money for activities or food. Where does all the money I spend on childcare go? Why cant they pay for it out of the huge pile of money Im sure they are raking in. Why do I have to constantly rake out money to feed other kids? I know the food that they do give to my kid is the cheapest juice and snacks that money can buy. I think they need more staff. The staff that is there does care and tries their best but they just dont have enough people to give the kids the attention they deserve and need. It smells like a dirty diaper almost all the time. Needs a serious overhaul of their childcare policies and practices because they do not match what is states on any of their documentation. If you want a convenient place to take your kids for childcare then this is it. If you actually care for your childs health, welfare, and education; then please take your child somewhere else!

This will be my daughters second year at Kids Academy, and I couldnt be happier. I feel good knowing my child is in an excellent learning environment with a great staff. This is not a place where children color and play all day long, they really prepare kids to start school and beyond. Mrs. Bridge, the director, also makes sure to keep the children involved with various activities that us parents may not be able to get our children to. They had a dance instructor come to the school last year to teach the children there, and hosted a recital at the end of the year...it was great! The cost is reasonable with the hours they are available, and what they do for their kids. Keep in mind...Im a single parent, full-time student, and I work full time M-F, which means my funds are scarce, but Id go without any day knowing my child is in one of the best places she could be in.

I thought that this place had a great location, but to be honest I did even consider this place past the front door.. It was during the school year when I went in and the afterschool kids were just coming in. There were three little girls that came from the bus (with no adult), and punched in the code which was easy enough to crack if wanted... there was no one at the front and I waited for about 5 min before the kids came in... then when one of the little girls turned and said the code is **** if you need in I thought....mmmmm nope my kids will not be going here... I mean really I could have been anyone and these little kids were just going to let me in... not that I am blaming the kids but that the center should have been upfront.

Great daycare! Convenient location and an excellent staff. All of the workers seem like they genuinely care for the children and their wellbeing. My daughter has learned so much since she started attending Kids Academy.
