My review is also posted on FB from January 22, 2014, from when my daughter attended daycare there in the winter of 2013. Ms. Terry, the owner, is very unprofessional and highly defensive against any problem you have with them. My daughter recently saw a picture of a paddle and cried to her grandmother, telling her Mrs. Paris (a former employee there) hit her with it. She said it was a brown stick with a string and a red ball. I called to inform Ms. Terry and tried to get a sense of the situation and to just talk it out. Never threatened anything and when she called back, she had an attitude out of this world saying she wont "entertain" my 4 year old daughters story. She basically called my child a liar because the last time my daughter went there was over 4 months ago. It happened over 4 months ago, but all it took was a picture for my child to remember it. Traumatized? Maybe so. My daughter told me she was scared to tell me because she didnt want to get in trouble. Again Ms. Terry called with a defensive attitude before I even said a word to her. I have the phone record to prove it. Shes unprofessional, do NOT send your child here.

so i worked there for a week and got fired cause i was sick and didnt want to get the babies sick and she had doubts cause i had a little girl under 2. thats kinda like saying well ur fired cause ur mexican, white or black. i think the director is really rude. i worked with kids under one and didnt think it was that clean. on my first day i gave the kids their bottle and i said ok wheres the soap to clean the bottles? they said just rinse it out and put it in the fridge! i was like wtf thats not clean.. well they do that everyday and on weekends the bottles get cleaned.. to me bottles need to be cleaned EVERY TIME THEY ARE DONE BEING USED!!!!ALSO the rooms are real tiny and the kids have no place to crawl or walk around.. I WAS TOLD MY THE DIRECTOR THAT THEY DONT ALWAYS FOLLOW LICENSING RULES CAUSE LICENSING ISNT THERE 247 AND DONT KNOW WHAT ITS LIKE TO WORK AT A DAYCARE.. BUT to me licensing way is CLEAN!!! id never ever put my daughter there!! just thought id share my experience there with all the parents /ppl who wanna work there.. this place sucks...

My two-year old was at Peek-a-boo for a year while we lived in Converse. At first, I was a little timid because I was not used to their structure - but that quickly faded. I LOVED them! Sandra, Paris and all of them were wonderful! My son was loved and cared for. He always came home clean and happy. Of course the bumps and bruises happened from time to time, (he is a boy!) but they always called me to let me know. My son learned so much while he was there and I truly loved all they did for him. If it wasnt for us moving, we would keep him there as long as possible! Thank you, Peek-a-boo fo all you did for my son and our family! We will miss you all!
