My daughter (age 3) has been attending Country Home on Leslie Rd for almost 6 months now after I pulled her out of another daycare. Being a first time mommy, dropping her off at daycare was a very scary thing for me, especially because I had a bad experience at her first daycare. But Country Home quickly eased my mind about leaving my daughter in their care. Her teachers have been fantastic and everyone that I have met from the front desk, the kitchen and the director herself have given me the impression that these are people who enjoy life, who enjoy children and being part of their lives and a part of their growth. My daughter runs into her classroom every day, excited to be there. I have to chase her down to give her hugs and kisses goodbye. She brings home art projects, puzzle and educational worksheets regularly, that she is so excited to have done and she sits down with me to tell me all about them. She comes home singing songs that I dont know, that she has to teach me. Her teachers are attentive and communicate well. If there is a scrape or a bruise or a bump, they notice it. If its one that existed when I dropped her off (new to them but not to me) they still notice it and are honest in telling me they have no idea where it came from. If it did happen at school, they usually have an idea of the circumstances. Being a full time work-at-home mom with a very flexible (some say chaotic) schedule, I drop off and pick up my daughter at various times of day. On more than one occasion, I have shown up early while the kids were in the middle of craft time or playground time and my daughter has teared up because she just isnt ready to leave yet. Sometimes I stay and hang out to let her finish up, sometimes up to 20 minutes, and my presence seems welcome. It gives me a chance to interact with the teachers and the other kids and its always been a pleasant and positive experience. Its also allowed me to see the wide variety of activities that CH provides. They really stretch the imagination with their variety of craft projects and worksheets and while they teach the basics -- shapes, colors, the alphabet, numbers, etc, CH goes beyond that to cover science and home-ec like making cookies or play-doh, learning about people in the community, like having firefighters come to the school to teach the kids about what they do. Ive seen the teachers reading them stories, singing songs and letting them dance around to music. Ive seen group activity/puzzle time, solo/quiet activity time in addition to the more obvious activities the kids partake in like open play in the classroom, nap time, the indoor and outdoor playgrounds, the water park/splash pad, the movie theater, etc. There are also special events and special days - the Thanksgiving lunch, the Halloween costume parade, pajama day, the book fair - just fun side activities to keep things exciting and to allow the parents to interact. The kids get a very full day at CH and it doesnt surprise me at all that my daughter is developing well both socially and academically, and having a blast doing it. It surprises me that this location has no reviews on Google but I feel they deserve a thumbs up and for the world to know their work is loved and appreciated. Mommies, if youre like me and have a miserable kiddo in a daycare who after weeks or months, cries when you drop them off, dont let the daycare convince you that its just separation anxiety and that its normal. Find a place where your child is happy so that they (and you!) can thrive.

We absolutely LOVE Country Home! My daughter attended the Leon Springs location for about a year as a 2 year old and loved it, she developed such a strong connection and affection toward her teachers who had also clearly encouraged very healthy friendships between her and all of her classmates, we were so sad to change daycare programs due to moving. Now, thank goodness as a four year old my little one was able to return to Country Home at the 1604 location right off of Leslie Road. This center is by far her favorite! I am so sincerely grateful to hear my daughter finally get excited about going to school again every single morning and sometimes even ask why she cant go to school on Saturdays, she is SO happy here. It warms my heart how some of the teachers who apparently switched over from the Leon Springs location and had only very briefly interacted with my child remembered her here! One of my favorite aspects of Country Home is their curriculum; each day has well-structured and organized activities to teach the children all kinds of exciting new things. The other day my daughter came home talking about the solar system and naming out majority of the planets! They give you daily reports on how your child did and even attach some of the papers or arts and crafts they completed, it is so precious to see! The staff is super friendly, warm, genuine and helpful and whenever I have days off and don’t drop her off until 11am or pick her up at 2pm, I always find her class in the middle of some fun educational activity in the gym or diner or one of the other many adorable interactive play areas at the facility. It’s very awesome how they even have actual youth sports programs and certified coaches come to Country Home and give your child the chance to get an early start in team sports without requiring the parent to do excessive amounts of shuttling back and forth and waiting after a lengthy work day. We just got my daughter started in the basketball program and will probably try the dance and soccer ones as well to see which she enjoys most. I appreciate the safety measures of the cameras in the classrooms and the code required to enter the front door, the no cell phone rule for the teachers was also a relief to hear, I have always seen the teachers very present, engaged, and maintaining impressive patience and kindness no matter how many tasks or requests they’re receiving at a time from their class. There is no price you can put on dropping your child in at a care center every day being able to leave with peace of mind and full confidence that she/he will receive an outstanding amount of attention and healthy instruction in a positive, safe environment. If you’re looking for a daycare/learning center for your child I would definitely recommend checking out Country Home!

I have two boys who attend Country Home. They are 5 and 3 years old and have both attended Country Home since they were infants. The facilities themselves are amazing and the staff are really a step above. My Wife and I were surprised with the facilities when we first toured them. They have multiple indoor and outdoor play areas, movie theater, 50s style soda shop, two water parks, a putting course, and a computer area for the kids to learn basic computer skills. My boys constantly bring home projects and drawings that they have done. Everyday we receive a progress sheet that details what they ate, when they napped, when they used the bathroom, what they learned and overall what kind of day they had emotionally. The menu is always healthy and full of fruits and vegetables. The teachers will let you know if your child was good or if it wasnt the best day for them, I appreciate this so I know if there is something that I have to correct or encourage at home. The teachers are all fully trained and actually listen to you as a parent to understand what is going on with your child before they start the day with them. Recently my Wife had to go overseas for a year and the whole staff has been more than helpful while we adjusted to the change in our lives. My sons teachers are very patient as I usually forgot something like a bathing suit or a towel. The teachers would always cover for me to ensure my children got to play in the pool or go on a field trip. My oldest sons teacher has even sent packages to my Wife overseas with cards and pictures from all the kids in class thanking her for her service. When I requested if my youngest sons teacher would expedite the time table to teach my son to be potty trained so we could surprise Mom when she gets back, she was more than happy and in less than a month he was trained. The whole staff offers words of encouragement to me and they give my sons a little extra loving because of the situation. I really can not say enough good things about Country Home and their staff. My current situation would be extremely hard without the support they have given. All in all a top notch facility with a great staff, I wouldnt take my children anywhere else.
