I wouldnt recommend anyone to work for Smart Styles, unless you wanna be living in fear at work and always being manipulated into believing that you will never "succeed" anywhere else once you leave the company. You dont get breaks, the company doesnt show any apperciation for their stylist what so ever, plus you never get a Saturday off, and if so you have to come in an hour. Its an extremely slow pace salon and youll be lucky enough to even survive in tip money. And if you are coming straight out of beauty/barber school they automatically put you on the floor, without going through any training of some sort. The supervisior even knows how beauty/barber schools are being taught, but yet they cant supply an organized education system. Youre lucky if you even get peanuts from this selfish-absorbed company.

Im giving a 1 star because this worker kellnez was super nice to me,cut my hair great, n says im gonna blow dry n style it for you so you know how to do the style is that ok? Im like yeah sure n she goes on about hot tools to the hair n all that right,so were going up to pay n shes all its gonna be $15 for the dry n style but since i asked to do it ill give you a 30% discount ok? Ughh what am i gonna say NO? Like yeah you helped me out but say something b4 you start like i can dry n style but theres a charge is that ok? Like hello im on a budget! Thats why i was at walmart getting a haircut with a coupon for 9.99. If i wanted yo get charged all that for that service i would of went with PROFESSIONALS!!!

Customer service is non-existent. We stood there for 20 minutes and the hair stylist was helping another customer. She saw us but made no attempt to help sign us in or offer a chair or even say "I will be right with You." Typical lazy Corpus work ethic.
