Cynthia- two thumbs up. One of the sweetest hair gurus Ive met. I came in with orange hair and really nervous about letting someone dye it again (I dyed my virgin hair seven months prior and it was a disaster). She walked me through what I wanted, how it would turn out and what she suggested during our consultation. I was happy and really liked her so I decided to try this all over again and scheduled an appointment. I came in a little less then a month later and she spent Five hours on my hair- thats how long it took to correct it and give me the look I was hoping for. Throughout the process she answered one million questions I had about what she was doing and in general about hair... not only that but she also got me the most delicious tacos so I wouldnt starve... I was super pleased with the results and walked out a happy and now a future faithful client! It seems like everyone at the salon is very open to what youre looking for and criticism which makes eberhonenso easy to work with and calms your or at least my nerves. My husband goes to Morgan and hes a diva about his hair- hes tried several salons when he moved to dallas and has never been satisfied until he came here to Morgan. Just an FYI he has really thick curly and hard to manage hair! He will definitelt be returning too!

Ive only been a client at Bishop Arts for seven months, but I feel like Ive finally found my hair home in Big D! Its easy to see why other people have said theyve been coming to the stylists here for years. I go to Cynthia, the owner, and her fabulous assistant, Juliet. In the fall, I came in with tired looking partial highlights. A few hours later, I left with a fresh cut and a GORGEOUS balayage (hair paint)! Yes, balayage takes time, but Im still rocking it 1/2 year later with minimal effort! Its totally worth the upfront time - in the past, Id dreaded coming in every few weeks to touch up highlights at other places, and balayage doesnt require that! Since then Cynthia has kept me fresh with good cuts that are easy to style! My husband also goes to her for haircuts now. In a pinch, hes seen the other girls here and had a good experience as well. Ive already recruited two friends to start coming here for cuts/balayage and Ive been asked for the salons info by two others. Come and join us! Its an awesome place!!

I went in to get balayage for the first time with Marissa but once i got there she looked at my hair and then said i shouldnt do it because it would not look good on curly hair so i decided to get highlights instead since it was my only day of and i was already there. I then told her what color i wanted it but she ended up leaving it blonde after 3 long hours. Also, she didnt work on my hair completely she had a trainee do it. I was also overcharged since she charged what the balayage cost even though she said not to do it!

I do not recommended this place. I will not require your service again, I thought it was highly recommended for the simple fact that the name of the establishment says "at bishop arts". Its bad to go somewhere and ask for a certain way of service ( hair color) and have it done their way. nearly 5 hours wasted for nothing. it worse that the person do my hair is only a HIGHSCHOOL certified cosmethology. did you think this is a good job for almost two hundred?

If you want one of the chillest and illest experiences in your entire life, get your haircut here. The BEST staff in the world. I go see my girl Cynthia on the reg. We cut it up while she cuts it up. When I walk away with that fresh fade, I go into the world and can conquer it knowing my hair is on fleek. 12/10 would highly recommend!

Waiting 45 minutes after the appointment was switched to another day by stylist. Then 4.5 hours after the 45 minute wait, still not done properly or with any sense of urgency. Poor stylist and not returning in the future. Cool joint and staff is nice.
