I have been natural for about 4 years and I have never straightened my hair. I really like my curl pattern and have heard too many horror stories about curls being heat damaged etc. I decided to give it a try and had an appointment with Jennifer Perry. First of all, we started right on time. It wasnt any of that doing my hair plus several other people. She did a protein and steam treatment and also straightened my hair and WOW! My hair was so straight that people thought I got a perm again. I was nervous that since she got it so straight it had to have heat damage but nope! Not only did it curl back with no issues but those treatments she did left my hair with bouncier and healthier curls. I just so happened to schedule an appointment with Jennifer but I have been to other stylist here who do equally great work. Im so happy Ive found a natural hair salon I can trust. I would highly recommend anyone try them out.

OMG!!! By far THE most professional hair salon Ive ever been to. My stylist, Deneka, was very professional, very thorough in explaining what products she was using on my hair, and very informative regarding haircare regimens. I made a last minute decision to get my hair done by a professional, and surprisingly, I was able to book a 5:30pm appointment. The process of scheduling my appointment online was very easy and convenient, and it was a relief to be able to schedule an evening appointment. Oh! My 3 minute scalp massage was the BOMB!!! It was totally unexpected, very much appreciated, and definitely a first! I walked out of the Good Hair Day salon today feeling like a pampered queen! Needless to say, I WILL be returning! Thank you so much, Deneka, for making my experience a phenomenal one!

I absolutely LOVE Good Hair Day! LaTarah has been my stylist for years. However, my daughters and I have also had our hair styled by other stylists in the salon. All of their work is impeccable! They have a great relationship with clients of all ages and they are patient with children! Theyve styled my familys hair for special occasions and just everyday life and we are always pleased!...and if for any reason it is not to your satisfaction, all you have to do is let the owner or stylist know and they will make it right!

New to the area. Heard about Good Hair Day on fb. The first time I went, LaTara silk pressed my hair. It was gorgeous! So the next time LaTara wasnt available, so I schedule an appointment with Shemekia. I came in carrying the world on my shoulders. Shemekias hands were like magic. Didnt realize how therapeutic it is getting your hair shampooed! She hooked me up with 2 strand twists. I walked out feeling like a new person. I love this place! Great atmosphere and very professional!

Good Day Hair Salon is wonderful! Professional staff, convenient location, you can manage/schedule your appointments online, and wifi is available. I really enjoy going to the same stylist long term and when my stylist of six years relocated from DFW I was concerned. LaTarah has made my transition seamless and it has been one year already. I highly recommend this salon for new customers and those looking for improved service and true hair care.

I was very impressed with the professionalism of this salon even before I even got here. The online scheduling was a breeze and set the expectations of the salon standards. I wasnt disappointed once I arrived. My stylist, Daneka, was excellent. She made me comfortable, carefully explained what she was doing and the products she used. Her shampoo skills are phenomenal! It was an hour drive for me but totally worth it.

This salon was perfect! I had my first salon experience here as a natural girl and Shemieka really workerd her magic and TRANSFORMED my hair! The service was oh high quality and the staff was very genuine and professional. Everything was organized and timely. The only booking was a life saver and the prices were reasonable. Will definitely add this salon to the to-do list every so often for a trim/touch-up!

Went there for the first time about 2 weeks ago. I requested a cut and asked that the stylist keep my layers. The stylist cut my hair super short in my crown and took plugs out of my hair around my ear. Im pretty understanding for folks just learning how to cut hair but this is ridiculous. I wont be back.
