Been a member for 5 years at the location off of Western Center. Seems all they care about now is driving up membership and packing the place, but dont care about the members or the shape the gym is in, which is getting worse and worse. The cardio center is upstairs and of course they never have anyone that works upstairs to walk around and help members or check on problems with the machines. About the cardio area. Most of the time 25% of the treadmills dont work, 20% of the Elliptical machines are broke, and always about 2 to 3 of the step machines and bikes are broke. Always seems like the same ones. Of course if they do work the head phone jacks usually dont which is very frustrating. They have 8 TVs going, of course out of those 8, two are completely broke, 1 you can watch but sound doesnt work at all in any of the head jacks, and the rest are usually on the same channel, and once again you have to quit your work out go down stairs ask someone at the front desk to do something about it, sometimes they will sometimes they wont, most of the time they act like they are going out of the way to help you. Just cant believe the attitudes. I talked to the manager about a month ago about the equipment, and all I get is excuses. I even gave him some ideas on how to keep it up, guess it went on deaf ears cause nothing changes, the equipment just keeps getting worse. During my work out tonight I watched at least a dozen people walking around frustrated and upset. I would tell them to talk to the manager, however I know that wont help have done it myself and nothing changes. New Year is coming and of course they will be pounding the streets to set up many new members, if you are looking make sure you check out the machines before you sign up or ask for a few times to work out so you can see how bad it is. Guess Ill have to start driving further away from my house to work out and see if any of the other 24 hour gyms are any better, this place is just head down hill fast, very sad!!!!

Signed up for a free pass on their corporate website, went to the gym and the manager in charge did not accept it,he told me that "this 24 hour fitness does not accept those" and constantly shoved questions down my throat asking "why I am holding back from becoming a member" and saying that "I should just stop worrying and sign up", he didnt even offer to let me see the gym or just give me a free day to workout and make sure I like this place. These gyms are corporately owned which means they are supposed to accept it.Next I had to pay 20$........you read that right,20$ for a day, what gym charges 20$ for a day pass, thats crazy!!! This gym does not have a very big selection of machines or weights and a lot of them are old and broken down. Definitely found it to be uncomfortably hot! Also if your into swimming......they only have two lanes and they are not even close to regulation size. So all in all poor employees(or at least that one manager) and if your actually looking to get a good workout dont go here! The only thing convenient about this place is that it is open 24 hours! If you want somewhere that has everything you need and a great selection of weights and great and friendly employees I would recommend LA Fitness.

I signed up at the 24 hour fitness on Golden Triangle in Keller and really enjoyed my experiences there. I now live closer to this 24 hour fitness and it is, unfortunately, deserving of at least some of the negative reviews. Many of the bikes, elliptical machines, and treadmills are either broken or missing buttons. Some of the weights look like theyve been dragged down the road a few miles; didnt really effect their use but still curious how it got so messed up. I only spent a minute or two looking but found just one safety clip. When I went there a few days back, two of the water fountains were backed-up and no water fountains have that handy water bottle filling attachment that is present at first 24 hour fitness I went to. This 24 hour fitness also does not give out hand towels, theyll only sell you one for $4.00 which speaks a bit to the level of service they are willing to provide. The gym was fairly busy when I went, but thats to be expected especially this time of year. I was able to get done all I wanted to do after hunting for an open, not broken machine but for $44 a month or whatever Im paying, I hope for a little more in terms of quality.

A good portion of the machines you actually want to use are going to be broken and they are definitely not quick to get them fixed (expect a couple weeks). Doesnt go to all, but some of the people working there seem pissy every single time Im there. I get that having to go to work isnt super fun, unless you work in a trampoline factory that also makes beer and chicken wings, but you cant act like a punk towards the members. In a testosterone filled building, thats not going to turn out well. Then there was the two month long ordeal of them texting me to try and get me to join (I was already a member) or to sign up my child for their kids club (what child?). Of course they were very courteous when I said I wasnt interested and to please take me off the list....every single time. Eventually it just became ridiculous. All in all, I would recommend one of the other facilities. The one off of 820 near rufe snow seems to be in a bit better shape.

Where do I start? Its like high school at this location, the employees at the front desk dont care except when a hot woman comes along. So I went to pay for my membership and this guy stares at me for two seconds and gets back talking to some girl. He had a beard, he was working the night shift. I said to myself, screw it and I left and called another location, I told her about the horrible service I received and she told me to stop by the other location and she would resolve my situation. To prove how bad this location is, I drove to another location just to get what I need which was one little thing. The only reason why I go is because of one instructor, in reality I dont care much for this location. Not all the employees are rude I wish I had better service that day instead of having to drive to another location, but I do come here for the instructors mainly so I come on a frequent basis.

I have told management, and corperate the temp in pool is too cold. The water aerobics class at one time had over 25 men and women. It now averages 10 - 15. The temperature should be 84 degrees for water aerobics, the lap swimmers dont seem to mind the temp, in fact one was complaining yesterday that it was too cold. After swimming I had to warm up & went into the sauna. I came out cooled off outside the asuna then went for shower. Mind you, its in the 40"s outside. So nice to step into a cold shower. Too cheap to turn the heat on in their. yesterday I was about to use the chest press machine and a big bolt was laying on the floor. I dont think they maintain their equipment very well, obviously. This could be very dangerous. All this club seems to care about is saving money.
