I started going to this location when it was new.. It was great! At first... Over the next few years things started to change. The towel service was pulled out of the locker rooms? The management that seemed to care about anything was replaced. The showers have black mold in them. The dry sauna smelled like something died in it! The equipment took months to get repaired, sometimes longer. I got ring worm from the floors that I thought were clean. The showers had drain flies in them. The staff is non existent and if your not coming in to sign up the staff could care less to get to you in a timely manner. They just look at you like your the strange one for coming in. The last straw for me was when they cut the kids club hours on the weekend.. Ive been at this location since 2009 and now theyre going to cut out more time that I have to work out? I was done! Told the gal at the front desk who said she was an "operations manager" and told her why I wanted to cancel, she just said.. Ok, well were sorry to see you go..... Wow! She really didnt care either way.. Not only that, Im not trying to be rude, but most of the people that work here look like they should be working in a Burger King or McDonalds.. Not a gym! Over the last year this gym has just gone so far down hill... Its a shame because it used to be so great..! Ive also seen on a couple of occasions the Club Manager using this place as his own dating pool. Hitting on and privately texting married women...! He should be fired for this alone! Much less what hes turned this once great gym into!

I want to warn others. We were deceived by a "polite" salesman when we registered our 12-year old daughter for personal training sessions. We made the sacrifice to enroll her in these sessions because she has been good at school and at home. Such sales rep NEVER told us that to enroll our daughter in the sessions she had to be a member. So, when I checked my credit crd statement a month later, I was surprised to see the extra $43 charge. I then asked the 24-hour staff why the charge, that is when I first learned she had to be a member.. But then, we were told another lie, another 24hr staff told us not to worry because we could cancel membership once the sessions were over. I swallowed my anger and let it go. However, after 4 months of sessions ( 1 session per week) last Fri (July 31, 2015), I then asked the person in front desk to, please, cancel membership. She said, sorry sir, you are obligated to pay 12 payments of $43. So, I was furious. Club Manager (Chris) did not do anyhting. Two lies in a row that cost us hundreds. What a lack of work ethics, just in the name of revenue for them. We could not tranfer, cancel, nothing. Besides, I wont feel comfortable leaving my 12-year-old daughter alone in the gym with older guys in tight shorts. And if we want to be with her, we would have to pay extra membership. It is a nightmare. When I asked to speak to the person who sold us the sessions, he no longer works there....what a surprise. Please, be careful.....it could happen to you. Dont belive them.

Very, very poor communication and poor management. No customer service skills from management, regular staff always seemed helpful and friendly. I will NEVER have a member ship with 24 Hour Fitness again. I have had a membership with 24 Hour Fitness for awhile now. Because of a move/job change I put a hold on my account for $10 a month. When I made this agreement I was told it would be for as long as I needed with no expiration. At the 6 month mark my account was reactivated without my knowledge and I was charged the regular fees. I was then charged the annual renewal fees ( I realize I would have been charged this either way) and again another month of active fees. They claim a conformation email was sent to me 6 months ago but I never received that conformation and would NOT have agreed to only a 6 month hold or a renewal without my knowledge. I spoke to the manager today who told me nothing would be done about this. I loved 24 Hour Fitness hence the reason I was willing to pay $10 a month to keep a membership without even going. Im willing to pay the annual fees and the two months of unused membership but I am completely disappointed in how everything was handled. The manager offered no sympathies or even an "Im sorry" about the whole situation and basically told me Im SOL. I would have kept my membership on hold for a few more months till I was able to make it back. But there is no way I am keeping it now. I will never use 24 Hour Fitness again.

Been with 24 for 5 years. This facility say that Id have to pay $15 more a month on top of what I already pay or $25 each visit. First of all the facility was was the same size if not a little smaller then the one I attend now. The only reason I checked it out is because Im going to be moving on that side of town. But when the lady told me the prices I was turned off anyway. But besides that went to the locker room first and two toilets were out of service and a stand up pisser was out of service. On top of that there was two other stand-up that had tape on the sensors so it wouldnt keep flushing........ Two facets were out of service........ But when I walked in there was three Techs working on t treadmill at the same time, during peak hours. Anyone thats been there knows the treadmills are the first thing you encounter when you walk past the receptionist desk. But disappointed with the facility. And if your going to charge extra for being a Sports facility the have the sports facility sign on the outside of the building. Because the Overton Facility in Hullen has a sign, besides that I can go to that sports facility with nothing extra paid and they have a towel service and a sign. This facility needs work inside and at the core with whomever the managment is. Guess Ill have to check out the one in NRH or go to the one on Western Center. Stand By the Facility on Horne St. on the Westside of Fort Worth!

So many of the treadmills have broke buttons or are out of order and many of the belts need more tension because they stick when running. Majority of water fountains are broken or put out hot water. One has a trash can underneath it that is catching leaking water, I think. I havent seen water dripping into it, just water and trash sitting in a half full trashcan for weeks. The main clock in the middle of the gym says 3 different times, none that are correct. More recently, the TVs havent been working at all and the music during some hours literally sounds like dogshit. All issues are constant and continuing now. Needless to say, the gym is in definite need of some upkeep and with the amount of money the gym gets from memberships these issues should not happen and still be a nuisance weeks and months down the road. I like the gym because its 2 mins from my house and its never all that crowded during the times I go but I expect more out of a national chain and feel like theyre not meeting standards. All these areas that need improvement are easily fixable, thats why I feel the gym management has dropped the ball and havent done the necessary maintenance that is much needed. Highly disappointed, probably one of the worst kept gyms Ive ever been to.
