In the past 5 years, our house was hit by 3 hail storms. The timing of the most recent one couldnt be worse as the storm on April 22, 2017 was 3 weeks prior to the closing on the sale of the house. I had previously met the owner of the company, Chris Skidmore, and I was able to see his operations...beyond impressive! How many of us would eat at certain restaurants if we saw the kitchen? Well, I saw the kitchen at Authority Roofing and I would eat off of the floor. So I knew who I would use if I ever needed a new roof. I got in contact with Chris Cox, a project manager at Authority Roofing, who put together a plan, the resources and communications in such a professional manner I have rarely, if ever, seen in my several experiences with construction, home improvements, or roofing repair. He knew our deadline for closing was May 15, 2017...he expedited his resources so we could somehow meet our closing date. Not only was Chris and his crew able to meet the deadline, they completed / made repairs not even in the insurance adjusters claim (to the roof, fence, the inside of the house, for examples). The previous roofers left the felt on the roof - so their were 3-4 layers of felt when Chriss crew went to fix the roof. He had them all removed, despite the difficulty of doing so. Chris is a fantastic project manager, and was available for communication through all hours of the day and evening throughout the project, knowing how nerve-wracking this was. Chris was able to manage virtually all of the repairs necessary to the property beyond just the repairs of the roof, gutters and downspouts. This is most critical when so many things needed completion, and once person could be accountable for the project. A huge thank you to Chris Cox who executed this critical, time sensitive project, as we closed on time on May 15th, 2017. Another huge thank you to the owner Chris Skidmore, who certainly knows how to put outstanding people in place to serve his customers. Authority Roofing is over the top in my book! And by the way, my real estate broker and title company were quite impressed as well...saved them quite a bit of work and agony!

I first came into contact with Chris Cox and Authority Roofing in May 2016 after our area had experienced hail damage and I had contacted five or more roofing companies to provide me an estimate. Out of all the companies that I contacted, Chris Cox from Authority as Project Manager and salesman was the most prepared and responsive when we met, and followed up quickly with an estimate and ensured that our assigned insurance adjuster did not miss an damaged property. I hired Chris and Authority to replace our roof in July 2016 and they did a great job. Unfortunately this April 2017 my area was hit again by hail - only this time baseball sized hail, which punched through our kitchen skylight and damaged my roof big-time! As soon as the hail broke through my skylight I texted Chris to see if he could come out the next day to tarp/cover my skylight as the weather report called for more thunderstorms that week. Chris, himself came out the next morning and tarped my broken skylight and secured it so I would not suffer any future rain damage. Hows that for customer service? This time it was a no brainer who I would hire the second time to reroof my home - Chris Cox and Authority Roofing - who as a roofing company is a GAF and Corning Certified Installer (which is only about 3% of the roofing companies out there). They are a general contractor and can take care of screen replacement, painting, replacement gutters, powerwashing and restaining of wood fences, and replacement of HVAC units, etc. Chris can help you totally restore your damaged home to "better then new"! One can not ask more then that. Authority will work directly with your home insurance carrier and claims adjuster to ensure you are not shortchanged or taken advantage of. Also, for you veterans like myself if you go with GAF brand shingles they currently offer a $250 rebate. I have attached some pictures of my neighbors yard signs but the picture could not capture all four yard signs who also chose to hire Authority Roofing and Chris Cox as their project manager. Hopefully I will not have to call Chris in April 2018 with another hail storm repair!

I wish the system would allow me to rank higher than 5 stars for Authority Roofing - that is how great our experience was! We recently had our roof replaced by Authority Roofing and it was a first class experience from beginning to end. Authority Roofing was on point from the beginning. They made sure to give us an accurate estimate and they were there to meet with the insurance inspector. On the day of the service, they were on time and their team worked hard in the heat. They were extremely clean - making sure all items including nails were picked up during and after the process. They even contacted Direct TV for us to have them re-attach our satellite dish and they met them for us. WOW. And Authority Roofing followed up with us several times to ensure we were happy with the service. This experience was 100% better than the last time we had a roof replaced (with another company that we would never recommend!). And our insurance adjuster told us that working with Authority Roofing was the best experience THEY (the insurance adjuster) had ever had. A special thank you to our account manager, Monica Lucas, for treating us with first class service. And a tip of the hat to all the employees - every single person we met or talked to was focused on great service, great communication and a great experience. We highly recommend this company.

Authority Roofing is probably the best contracting/construction company Ive ever worked with. Every member of their team was professional, on time with appointments, and the work they did was of high quality. I had a new roof installed by Authority Roofing two years ago in 2013. Jesse was the project manager, the installation was seamless and I had no issues at the time. In May of 2015 we experienced some of the heaviest rainfall ever recorded in the North Texas area. The heavy rainfall exposed a leak in one of my skylights that would not normally have been a noticeable issue otherwise. Since the roof was still under warranty, I called Authority Roofing to see about repairs. Jesse was still there and he arranged for a team to be on site the next non-rainy day to repair the leak, and also offered to fix any water damage that resulted from the leak. The repair team came out within the week, fixed the damage, and even offered to repaint the whole room just to make sure everyting was as good as before the leak - Overall, an outstanding experience!

Authority Roofing has done work for us twice now and they have provided exceptional work for us both times we worked with them. Everyone we have worked with has provided excellent customer service! We dealt with them in 2014 and now in 2017 due to hail storm damage both times. Last time we had damage to the roof and gutters. This time we had damage to our roof, fence, gutters and window screens. They have assisted us in getting all our items resolved thru them as quickly as possible! We did not have to go out and try to get a company for each item. They handled it all for us which was great!!!! The work product was professional and the items came out beautifully. I absolutely loved working with each of the folks assigned to complete the jobs from the sales department on down to the folks doing the labor. Each person we worked with was courteous, professional and skilled in their chosen professions. I am extremely happy I used them to resolve my storm damage!
