Id recommend using someone else. I am sure my roof is fine but they are dishonest and you have to manage them. They cant do it themselves. Dishonesty example 1: They explained to me how they were going to cover my pool and protect my landscaping with tarps. Never happened. My pool had plenty of shingles, nails, and other roofing debris in it. I called and said "You said there would be protective covering over these things and their isnt. CLC said "We will tell them to stop working so we can get covering put in place" I came home for lunch to check and they they were working working working, with no covering of any sort over anything. Dishonesty example 2: When they came to look at the screens, my wife asked why they didnt ever cover the pool / landscaping CLC said "no we meant we would cover it in the sense that if there was damage we would fix, clean, or cover the costs" That was a lie. My paperwork from them said "Tarps" and "Protective covering" Unmanagable: I had to call them multiple times to get them to put screens that needed replacing. They could never seem to remember what sizes and which were which type. I let 3 weeks go by and no calls no nothing. Finally I called and he goes "Oh yeah we are going to get out there next week. I suspect they would not have come out and done the screens if I had not kept calling" Further evidence was that after all of that I had to call and say "When will you be replacing my gutters? My paperwork shows 340 liner feet of guttering is needed." Same response "Oh yeah, we were just about to get to that." There were also some A/C unit repairs needed and I decided not to even pursue that. I am exhausted of having to deal with this company. Now they want their money and I get this email stating that "The adjuster is dragging his feet." He wants photos of the finished job "And it is not CLCs job to go take photos of the work" The roof, gutters, and screens look good but the process was an absolute beating and I would have preferred a company that was straightforward and didnt lie to try and get your business. They appear to have a lot of good reviews so hopefully my situation is unique but I am of the opinion that they will lie to you, forget about you, and sell you on service that is no better than any other fly by night roofer that comes through town.

So after my first review they sent someone over to try to explain what happened. Stating how it took the over 15 hours because of the supplier not providing them adequate amounts of material. OK I get it, but we are customers...communication is key. In fact My neighbor (live in a duplex) had to reach out to them more than once to get our roof on the schedule after they had cashed the insurance check. You should be reaching out to us and keeping us in the loop, we should not have to keep checking in with you for status. I was General Manager of a roofing company in my past and I can guarantee that at any given moment my customers were up to date with their scheduling and if there were any issues. Just so you all know I am not just some bitter, clueless person spewing a negative review. In fact it is rare I give bad reviews. The rain gutter was down and bet around the entire place and he stated it was because we had old loose screws. OK I could see that but one section of the gutter butted up against the chimney was literally perpendicular to the correct position and I also witnessed with my own eyes one crew member step on the gutter and almost fall off the roof before catching himself on the car port. He stated it should be more secure now than before. I would agree, but let us see if it drains properly after the next rain. I can remove that portion of the review if it does. There is also a section of the roof with a huge dip so it makes me curious as to whether or not they even replaced the decking in that area which should have been done.

Due to hail damage, I needed a new roof. CLC met the insurance adjuster, provided an estimate, verified the insurance and then re-roofed my normal shingles and put this cool pvc thing over my patio. They would also handle my fence, but I need to get a new one, so I skipped that part. The whole roofing job went great. I met with a number of the sales guys at different times to talk about the advantages of different shingles. They showed me colors and they helped me understand this cool pvc thing that they put over my patio. The actual roofers showed up when they were supposed to. They didnt finish in one day, but they cleaned-up enough to make my yard safe for kids. They came back and finished the next day. The salesman came by and checked on the roof and made sure I didnt have any questions or concerns. Insurance didnt replace my gutters, so CLC was careful and you cant even tell that they were touched. They even sent all my final paperwork to my insurance company so I can get the depreciation. My only issue is that roofing is expensive...I guess not CLCs fault. It was a claim with insurance, but it seemed expensive. I didnt have to pay anything more than my deductible, but wow....prices have gone up in 10 years. We have had a couple of big rain storms and there are no leaks. My roof looks great and I dont worry that I need to grab a bucket during the night.

I dont typically write reviews for anything but thought I should make an exception in this case. I recently had severe hail damage on a commercial building in Fort Worth and started looking for a roofing company. After interviewing a couple of apparently small outfits and just not feeling comfortable with the knowledge, expertise and overall impression of these guys I went to the web myself to see what I could find. I happened upon CLC Roofing and all I found was positive reviews. I called them up and met with Pablo shortly after. From the beginning I felt this company was legit and really knew their business. Without going into all the details I have to say the experience met my expectations and more. Sonny was the project manager and between him and Pablo everything they said they would do they did. Their knowledge with working with the insurance companies is a big benefit also. There were a couple of issues that arose and they went to the insurance company and sorted those things out to make sure I got the most value possible on the re-roof. This was a large job, approximately 20,000 square feet of roof. The job went smoothly, the crew was top notch and my business was not interrupted even while the job was being done. I would highly recommend CLC for any roofing job you have.

In the 16 years since we built this house, we have had four roofs on it due to severe North Texas hailstorms. We started using CLC on roof number 2 and were completely satisfied then. After roof number 4, we were really impressed with how easy CLC made re-roofing. CLC showed us roofing material samples and guided us toward a good decision on color and quality--we know because we did our research and agreed with what CLC said. They worked with our insurance company to satisfy their documentation requirements. In fact, when the insurance company made a HUGE mistake, CLC was patient and worked through the problem with Allstate--and the problem happened while they were already putting the new roof on the house. CLC took care of the details. But how CLC stood out: We had a looooong dry spell in North Texas so we didnt have any strong combinations of wind and rain. Two years after the most recent re-roof, we discovered a leak. CLC was quick to respond and fix the leak. (Frankly, I expected to have to pay something, but they said it was how they treat their customers.) If you need a new roof, CLC is the way to go.
