My Daughter and I had appointment at 6pm on a Thursday eve. The young lady at the desk was pleasant and sweet and our hairdressers came out together to meet us.Kirsty Jo, my daughters and Kirsten for myself Both had sweet personalities and my daughter bonded with hers immediately and I felt comfortable leaving it up to her to help my daughter (shes 15). My daughter has long hair that needed just a trim and a lil shaping, my hair on the other hand is growing out from being colored all its life to letting the gray come out, so had several textures going on and a horrible cut I was trying to grow out from my last Tony amd Guy haircut. I was hopeful to come out with at least a tollarable haircut till next chop to rid my hair of the remainding color still left. My hairdresser DID NOT try to sell me on coloring my hair again like all the others, nor did she try to oversell her own products. My daughters hairdresser was as sweet as can be and actually LISTENED to my daughter and what she wanted. They were both kind ladies that seemed to enjoy thier jobs, didn;t make me feel like "as the last customer of the day" a burden. I would recommed them anytime. I have not and nor do I plan on using thier coloring services ;) but customer service, and the stlyes themselves are greatand will keep me coming back for years to come. I was not even sure which style I wanted to use and she helped decide between 2 that we were able to par down to. I left a very happy customer. I hope all have as great of an experience as we did. Thanks Again

The Secret Paradise of Old Town Frisco The stylists at Jump Jive and Wail hair salon are at the top of their game. This is the only Christian based salon in the DFW area that I know of, maybe in all of Texas. The owner, Diane, teaches her staff the importance of over the top customer service. They have mastered the balance between good communication and excellent technical skills. In addition, each stylist has gone through an extensive selection process to be hired, but that is just the start. Diane feels very passionately about continuing education. She not only encourages staff to attend trainings, but has developed an in-house program to help stylists advance through six levels of classes while improving their technical expertise. This process allows them to promote all the way from "stylist" to "master stylist." Their passion and dedication to being the very best is what keeps them here. I know all of this, because I was lucky enough to have worked side by side with all of these ladies before moving back to California to care for my elderly father. If you are new to the area, or you are tired of not getting the level of service you want, then give the stylist at Jump Jive and Wail Hair Salon a call today. Former Employee Joe Lee

After moving to Texas a year ago from ohio it has been really hard to find a hairdresser. I tried jump jive and wail salon and was put with Pam. As soon as I walked in I noticed that everyone who worked their had nice hair and dressed well, something Ive seen the opposite of at some salons. Also, all the clients in the chairs had nice hair and it looked like not only did the stylists do a great job, but they also interacted well with their clients. Pam greeted me very nicely and on time. She took time to listen to me and look at my hair before deciding how to cut it. She did exactly what I was hoping for, and my hair turned out great. We had good conversation, she is very personable and easy to talk to. And even though i was her last appointment on a saturday and im sure she was exhausted, she didnt rush and i could tell she really cared about making it look the way i wanted. I will definitely return to her. Also, the prices are extremely fair. Im very excited to have finally found a great salon!

The first time my hair was saved by Kirsty Jo, she was working at a different salon. It was not even a week before my sophomore year and I was really nervous. My hair was a complete mess and I was sure therre was no saving it. It had been over dyed, and the so called "remedies" just made it even worse. BUT, Kirsty Jo just happened to have time to squeeze me in, and I was utterly shocked. Not only did it look good, but it looked like exactly the hair I wanted. I tracked her down and to this day refuse to go to any other hair salon. As a teenage girl, Im always changing my mind about how I want my hair, but no matter what I pick, it always comes out AMAZING. I always look forward to my appointments, you will too. ~Katt Bilyeu

Very professional. Ive lived in Prosper for 18 years and finally I found someone close to home that I like! I read the reviews before I went in and was a lil sceptical honestly. Met the owner - super sweet and hands on. Running your own business can be rewarding but a challenge to please everyone all the time. Keeping a smile and dealing with employee drama (behind the scenes) isnt always easy! As a customer you are in good hands here and will feel great when you leave! Prices are par for what I have paid elsewhere. Service however, is above what I have received anywhere else! Pam did an awesome job and I have already told a few friends. Cant wait to go back for microneedling! Excited about my new stylist! :)

I found Jump Jive & Wail Salon through a groupon for a keratin treatment several years ago. The keratin treatment was great but the stylist left after my second visit so I tried another salon closer to home. After jumping around from salon to salon and stylist to stylist, I couldnt be happier to be back at Jump Jive & Wail. Pam does a fantastic job with my color, highlights, low lights and cut/style. The products used in this salon are top quality. I frequently receive compliments on my hair (by friends and strangers). The salon is beautiful and all of the people who work there, including the owner, are always so friendly and cheerful. I enjoy my visits to this salon!

Absolute worst place ever! On the outside it looks like a fun and cute place to go, but it is not. I have never encountered such poor and awful customer service. Diane the OWNER is the most rude and unprofessional woman I have ever met at a business establishment. How she keeps that place in business with the way she treats her clients is beyond me. The entire staff is rude and they say the excel in customer service well that is the biggest lie of them all! If you are looking for a warm and welcoming place to get your hair done and a place you will be treated with respect then STAY AWAY from Jump Jive and Wail!

Until 2 years ago, I went to places like Sports Cuts and Pro Cuts for a trim because I was trying to keep it simple. My first visit to Jump, Jive, & Wail was going to be a one stop because I had a free gift from a friend. I have been going back for two years now because of the people, atmosphere, and fantastic service. Kelly is a wonderful stylist and has been incredibly helpful during my decision to donate to Locks of Love, add color to my hair for the first time in 10 years, and learn to use products. If youre looking for a new stylist or salon, this is your place!
