Theyve handled 2 issues on my 01 Mustang so far: ordering a proper replacement rim and changing out my rear rotors and brake pads. Even though it was difficult to nail down the right rim at first (there are slight depth variations in the rims of the 96-04 mustangs, who knew), they took the time to track down what appeared to be a brand spanking new one and installed it. When it came to my rear brakes, I originally brought the vehicle in due to a warped rotor and what seemed like never-releasing brakes. Both of the rear rotors really needed replacing anyway after having weathered a few too many Illinois winters, but they also found that the slide pins were seized and required a lot of effort to free. It nearly took out the mechanic working on it when the pins flew out (so grateful nobody was hurt!). But when I returned to pick up my car, I had a brand new set of rotors and ceramic brake pads. Theyve got honest prices and they put a lot of care into their work. As someone who has done a fair amount of vehicle maintenance before, Im always a little skeptical when I bring a car somewhere new for serious work. This place certainly earned their high rating though. 10/10 would get car worked on again.

I was very disappointed with the service I got here. I consider myself a reasonable person and do not typically like to speak poorly of my experiences unless it is drastically shown up by another garage. L.D. Auto blew out my evaporator box 3 times to clear a clog that kept causing water to dump from under my passenger side dashboard. Each time I got it done I would be returning no more than 24 hours later to get it done again..They were about to take my entire dash apart for 700$ to do a complete clean when I decided to give another garage a try in which they blew it out no problem on the first time for free and it has been good since. They also wanted to replace all four of my struts for a price which was undercut greatly by another garage...and pointed out 3 significant and costly repairs that needed to be done which were found to be non existent by the second garage I took it too. I wont go as far to say that this garage is shady because obviously there are a lot of good reviews despite mine which is why i took my car there in the first place. But I have to be honest...I was not happy and would not return here after this experience.

My son took a road trip from Colorado to Dallas and while there his car started acting up. My sister did a search on Yelp and found LD to have high ratings. They got the car right in the next day and didnt worry about it being a Subaru! Thought it was fixed, so I left, but it was still acting up, so they had me bring it right back and stayed persistent until it was completely fixed. They worked with me on cost as they knew I was from out of town and this was an unexpected expense. I sat in their shop almost all day and they were kind, courteous and persistent. John said," I will figure out whats wrong!" And he did! Cant thank you all enough! To John, Jonas, Derek and the crew. Thank you so much for sticking with it and putting my mind at ease about my son driving back to Colorado with his friends. When I gave him the car back. He said he never knew that it could run so well. He thought it was like new! Great job!

The local Ford dealership misdiagnosed our broken throttle cable problem - they fixed the cable but failed to tell us about the enormous damage that a leaky battery had also caused: deteriorated motor mounts, computer dissolved, hoses and belts eaten away, etc. They just sent us on our way without pointing this out! Fortunately we decided to have the car towed to LD for a second opinion. Jake showed us the many problems that the local megadealership missed, gave us an accurate estimate (I double-checked), and even helped us deal with the insurance agency. Our faithful old car was returned to us good as new and we have nothing but good things to say about the crew at LD, they are courteous, professional, and experts at their craft.

I recently moved to the area and needed to find a reputable mechanic to do a timing belt service on our Honda Odyssey (which is not a cheap service). I did my homework, getting quotes from more than 5 different shops, checking reviews, etc. LD automotive came in very competitively on the pricing and instilled confidence when I spoke with both Aaron and Jake (the owners) on the phone. They were able to get us in immediately for the service, and didnt add extra costs to the final bill. I appreciated the up front quote, and the way my wife and I were both treated when we brought it in for service. I highly recommend them, and we will definitely be using LD automotive for future repairs or service needs.

I called LD Auto on a Monday morning and they were able to help me asap! I absolutely loved that they were able to fit me in even though I am sure they would prefer appointments. They even asked if I would need a ride home! During my auto check up, several items were addressed and quotes were given quickly. They even helped me conclude which service should be done asap and which service could wait. (They take american express, which is a plus for me.) I feel they may fair on the high side for their parts and service fees but their kindness, consideration and efficiency was exceptional! I actually would given them 4.5 out of 5 stars! We will be back! Thanks Aaron and company.

Great service. Integrity in action. Up-front estimates and pricing. My kind of shop. Best customer service around ... and youll find their team experienced and knowledgeable. And I love the integrity Ive witnessed while waiting for my vehicles. Watched them help two customers who came in -- even researching information online using their databases to find a special part and talking about how to put it on -- without any expectation or pressure for them to do the work. Also listened to their enthusiasm and appreciation for one gentlemans vintage car as they helped him -- love the heart of these guys!

I always have a positive experience when I bring my vehicle to L.D. Automotive Repair. They are knowledgeable and certified. They care about each customer and have always treated me with respect. When I didnt understand a problem they took their time to explain it to me. They have always been honest in their dealings with me. Never charged me for something I didnt need. I am so grateful to my sister for introducing me to Jake and Aaron and even though I live a distance away but I will always bring my vehicle to them. Thanks to the L.D. Automotive team you guys are GREAT!

I needed to get my plumbing van fixed quickly, it was leaking oil very bad. I called my regular shop, and it was going to be a few days. I thought I would try out this place. I was pretty sure it was a rear main seal, plus maybe some other items. They had my van for only one day. Rear main seal, oil pan gasket, oil pump (my request), and its been a week with not even a drop of oil on the ground. Very happy, They also cleared a code on my large truck for me at no cost. Very pleased. Highly recommend.
