We have brought our vehicles before to Tillers and have been satisfied with repairs, until this most recent incident. My husband took his car to Tillers on a Tuesday, when he dropped his car off, they told him they would call him back on Wednesday with an update. He had not heard anything from Tillers for 3 days and had to call them himself on Friday. They couldnt resolve the issue with his vehicle because they couldnt find anyone who had the part or anyone who could make the repair (he eventually took it to a different shop and they found the part). We got the vehicle back on Saturday while my husband was at work. My husband saw his car that same night and he noticed there was completely different issue with the car that Tillers failed to mention to us (rear suspension was blown). Tillers was closed on Sunday and on Monday for the Labor Day holiday. My husband called Tillers on Tuesday asking why his vehicle had a totally different issue than what he brought it in for and they said that "it wasnt their fault" but they failed to inform him that they knew that the rear suspension was bad. So much for being an "honest shop". Very Disappointed.

I first found Butch Tiller and his crew a few years ago when my factory warranty ran out and I got tired of paying $300-400 bucks every time I drove into the dealer for some small reason. (even if they did give me a free $5 car wash) I have been back several times -- have not only been charged much less than by others but even when I give them a blank check and say "Fix everything that needs fixing", they only do the really needed stuff. I took my 98 Aurora in last week, said it needed a 100K servicing and check up.... and my A/C was faulty --- they coulda done everything from replace my brakes to my struts to my ashtray -- but they only did what they needed to do to make it run well (fuel filter etc), keep me happy. Price was right! Work was timely!! I feel like Diogenes --- who searched and found the honest man!

My girlfriend and I were having a hard time finding a good mechanic in the area. We tried a few other places but none of them were a straight up as Tillers. We took my girlfriends car here. They ended up not being able to help us out because the transmission was so bad. They didnt charge us a cent (although, Im definitely bringing them a case of beer). They also recommended two or three other garages where we can get the job done. They are honest, dont jerk youre around, and are the best in the business in the San Antonio area. We will definitely use in the future!

I had brought my vehicle in for brake work and ball joint replacement that was quoted at Firestone for over $3000. After Tillers took a look--I didnt need all of the work Firestone said was essential, and Tillers did the brakes and ball joints for less than 1/3 of the quoted Firestone price. The truck works great, the employees were straightforward and honest, and I was without the truck for only one afternoon. Highly recommended.

I had a horrendous experience last year @ meineke.... Tillers Automotive made me believe in humanity again !!!! Butch, Mike & the rest of the staff are some of the sweetest guys I know !! Butch Tiller isnt just an owner thats never there!! He knows all of his customers & whats going on w/ every single vehicle thats in his shop!! The few times Ive been there countles customers stop by to talk & check on Butch.... Love this place

Tiller consistently extends to me professional service, in-depth explanations of my vehicles status, and most importantly the lowest prices around. They never push me on anything and always make sure Im comfortable with the entire process. They are very quick on diagnoses, calling in parts, communicating with insurance companies, etc. I will continue to do business with them for a long time.

The ONLY place I will take my cars. I like to do it myself but when that got me nowhere I asked everyone I know in Helotes where to take my car. Tillers name came up over and over. They fixed my electrical problem fast and the bill made my jaw drop, I had spent twice that much trying to do it at home. Next time its going to Tillers first! The staff is friendly, patient and professional.

I had just gotten my car out of the shop in my home town and moved to UTSA for school when my battery died. I had enough umph to get to Tiller and asked if they could see what was up. Some of the nicest guys helped me and didnt charge me a penny for getting my battery charged. Good reliable guys. They gotta new customer today.
