There are many car places that will try to get over on you. After spending the last 30 minutes talking with Paul Taylor, the owner, I sincerely believe he is a good, honest man and this was an oversight and mistake. The repair took place awhile back, but Mr Taylor called me up, and asked me how we could resolve this. I still had the gas tank in question, so Mr Taylor came by, brought some Bill Millers tea (love this tea!), we talked for a bit then I showed him the gas tank. Mr Taylor apologized and made it right. I do tech work. Im usually right, occasionally I miss something. In many ways I relate tech troubleshooting to a less physical form of auto troubleshooting. Were not robots, but whats important is that we can own and fix a mistake, and thats what was done here. His ethic reminds me a lot of my grandfather, who had his own mechanic shop out in West Texas. Im rather impressed that I would be willing to give Taylor Automotive further work of mine down the road.

Paul and his crew are top notch. I went in to get my A/C checked out in my 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer. The air wasnt cold and was making gasping sounds. I expected to get told that the repairs were going to be a couple thousand dollars. Paul and his mechanic got my car in quickly one morning and got my estimate to me in a few hours. They had to order a part from Mitsubishi and that was the only reason they couldnt fix it that day. They gave me a hefty discount on the estimate/system check and the cost of the check counted toward the repair if I decided to get it fixed. Luckily the most expensive parts werent the cause and the repair cost was very reasonable. To top it all off they give military discount that saved me about $100. On the day the parts arrived they ahd my car fixed by lunch and I was cruising with cold A/C again! A huge thank you to Paul and his professional, honest, and military friendly staff.

I had a problem with a check engine code. P0401 EGR valve. After I replaced the EGR valve the problem still remained. According to all internet posts this is a hard problem to pin down and fix on these 2001 Toyota Camrys. I took it here, the gentleman that owns the place had it figured out in an hour. Two parts needed placed, the vacuum switching valve behind the engine by the firewall and Vacuum Modulator. It took an day to fix. I thought because of where the part was it was going to be $600+ He only charged me $313. I cant believe money I wasted at other places before I discovered this place. Great owner. Clean shop, Very honest. On top of that I now have a two year warranty nationwide on the work and parts. I have looked everywhere for someone I can trust now I found one.

My family have been taking their cars to Taylors for years, ever since the shop opened at its original Fredricksburg location. I highly recommend the shop if youre looking for honest people who care about doing good work and treating their customers with care and respect. One time I had to take my car back again because of a defective part (not their fault at all--it was a manufacturing error) and Taylor felt so bad about it, he took my car for a test drive and brought it back with a full tank of gas!

Ive been going to Taylor Automotive for over 10 years. I heard about them from my dad, as he takes his cars there. I have nothing but great things to say about the level of service I receive. Everytime I have a problem I cant fix I take my car in, get an honest estimate and know that the work is done right. Even though they moved clear across town I still wont go anywhere else.

Made a phone call asking a simple pricing question for a very easy job, woman on the phone was unable to answer and said Id be contacted in 10-15 mins and never heard from again. I dont think its professional to keep people who need work done in limbo. Now Im screwed. Thanks Taylor Automotive.

Taylor Automotive swapped the engine out of my old geo metro with a new one, and its been running great (and getting 45+ MPG) for several months and several thousand problem-free miles since! I will definitely go back to Taylor Automotive if I ever have another reason to.

Took my Jeep into Mr.Paul for the first time and had no second guessing, This was the guy to do the job. Mr.Paul and has staff were very friendly people and HONEST, hes got a customer for a lifetime and the jeep my runs Great!

Told AC needed compressor, not true. Fixed by another mechanic. Told radio was bad. Not true. New speakers fixed problem. Charged way too much for terrible results. Buyer beware. Trusted this man, only to be let down.
