On 12/29/2015, I took my car to a random auto shop for the State Vehicle Inspection. The inspector stated that my car did not pass the inspection because my front brakes were "metal on metal." He also stated that he could have the brakes replaced and fixed for $99. This raised red flags for me for many reasons. First, my front brakes were just replaced about 4 to 5 months ago - theres no way theyd already be metal on metal. Second, Ive driven my car when the brakes were metal on metal - I know what it feels like, and I know what it feels like when theyre nearly metal to metal. My car was not exhibiting any of these signs. Because of this, I told him my husband wanted to check out my brake pads first. I then had to pay him the $7.00 inspection fee. So, today, 12/30/2015, I took my car to Firestone for a second opinion. This inspector, Nathan Mallick, said my front brakes were fine, and that the rotors would need to replaced eventually, but they were still perfectly acceptable and worked well - and that there was no reason my car should have failed inspection. And, little did I know, Firestone also does State Inspections! So I asked them to re-do the inspection (there was no way I was going back to get swindled at the other place), and my car passed. Of course, Ive had enough positive experiences with Firestone that, had he told me the other guy was correct, I would have taken his word for it. Im very satisfied with Firestones services!

This was my third visit to Firestone for my car. First visit I had one headlight out, and I paid them to replace both. After a few months other headlight went out. It was suspicious to me and I told them. They checked electrical wiring and replaced headlight free of charge since they didnt do it the first time. The last visit my fan on vehicle was running longer than usual when car was off, and temperature had climbed when stopped in traffic. They charged me $837.95 to replace my water pump, thermostat and do a coolant flush and did it all in two hours when they said it would take 4. I dont think they even replaced the water pump or did the flush. I paid $523 for labor alone to get taken advantage of by them. I should have checked around for prices, but I didnt want my car to break down on the road. Its a shame they would do people like that and act like common crooks. When I asked if they put all the stuff on in two hours they assured me but when I got home my husband said no way they could could do the job in two hours. I am angry we got cheated out of a job not completed by them, yet again.

Noticed i was a quart low on my work van and since im a valued customer and hav all 4 vehicles serviced by firestone figured they would take good care of me and my van BUT! i was wrong. Went for an oil change and sonce i was there asked for my lifetime free wheel alignment and ac check, by the way nothing was wrong with ac or alignment thought routine would assure no problem later so also got tires rotated . Got a suggested bill from them for 1900.00 plus dollars with alot of other things wrong with my vehicle and my wheel alignment worst than i brought it and ac no longer blow cold!! These guys are not right customer service at the end was terribleno leadership there i was dissappointed with this store.... so you decide.by the way they refunded my ac check and still not blowing cold so if you want it done right ... doit yourself still holds true and if it aint broke dont fix it leave good alone....

Ive been to Firestone and related stores in numerous states. As with anywhere, there has been both good and bad at most of them (you should spend X hundreds to get Y fixed situations - some true, some not). While today was my first time at this location, I am happy to report that I was treated by respect on the phone and the front man (Christopher) was jovially pleasant while remaining professionally quick. I had (unintentionally) driven on a tire that quickly deflated and destroyed it. I took it in, fortunately had purchased the Road Hazard Protection, and they had it checked in, fixed, and checked out in 42 minutes. This place is busy, but Ive been to iterations of this franchise before that were less packed and had more staff which still required more time to change a tire. tl;dr - This place is decent to good, and I will be returning (hopefully not because I drove on a flat tire, again).

always had good experience with firestone franchises until this one. Brought my 2007 in for squeaking brakes, replace front pads. 500 dollars later, they said it was the rear brakes, needed "new rotors". Car still squeaked. Brought it back in, now they say the front is worn (told me 80_90% life remaining on front pads the first time.) I was deployed, my wife brought it in to be fixed, tired of dealing with it. 400 dollars later (needed "new" front rotors), fronts replaced. Still squeaked. Horrible service. I asked them for the old rotors to look at and they brought me some saying they were the old ones from the jeep...but didnt realize the ones they showed me had a different lug pattern/from a different vehicle...weak. Stay away.

Called in the morning to get an appointment for a wheel alignment at 5 pm. they said no problem, got there at 5 my truck wasnt looked at until 6, they proceeded to do their thing, fast forward to 7 pm tech comes out and says he only touch the steering bar that goes from steering box to the wheel hub, thus re-centering my steering wheel but leaving camber, toe, caster as it was before, in other words didnt do their job, there is something call ethic, and this guys dont have any, if they couldnt do the alignment the right thing to do was to let me know, they still charged me 96 dollars for an adjustment I couldve done at home with a crescent wrench. I shouldve known better. AVOID THIS PLACE!

This place is awful! I have been here on two separate occasions and both times they have tried to sell me unnecessary garbage I didnt even need. Both times theyve also been very vague with their analysis of what was wrong with my car and offer expensive "solutions" that "might" fix the problem. I took it to a local dealership both times after that and they immediately identified the problem and fixed it. Firestone was waaayyyyy off on what they thought was wrong and if I went with their recommendation, my car would probably still be having problems. You are better off paying a little extra to take it to the dealership who knows exactly whats wrong with your car and how they can fix it.

I needed to have both upper and lower radiator hoses replaced plus a coolant flush. The dealer wanted $600. I had that all done for $400 including tax. Staff was very friendly. The only con I would say is that they didnt order the parts when I made the appointment. So after I drop the car off they call me and tell me that I would have to leave the car there for the next morning; since I have 3 vehicles it wasnt an issue for me, just an annoyance. So just make sure to call the day before your appointment and confirm they have the parts in. That was the only issue. Ill take my car back there for future repairs.
