Do not bring your car to this shop!!! First of all, the man at the front desk was incredibly rude to both my husband and I. He did not listen when we tried to explain the issues our truck was having. He was too busy playing on his phone. Second of all, while attempting to "fix" the oil leak and starting/battery issues our truck was experiencing, they managed to misdiagnose the issue, told us the alternator was fine & we just needed a new battery and charged us $865 & our truck still would not turn on. Not only would our car not turn on after $865 worth of work, we discovered that the spare tire had been stolen out of the back of the truck!!!!!!! So we took our truck to another shop to have it looked at & low and behold it was the alternator causing the issue. (Which the lazy man at the front desk insured us they checked) Not only that, but the mechanics also discovered that Rodriguez put our transmission back incorrectly after fixing the oil leak. So they had to completely rebuild the transmission. Such a nightmare. We used to be loyal Rodriguez customers but we will never, ever come back to this shop and we will go out of our way to make sure our friends and neighbors never bring their cars there either. Terrible customer service and even worst experience.

11/17/2009 by: Ralph My Ford F-150 wasnt running properly and the Drivers side rear drum brake was leaking Hydraulic fluid. So I went out looking for a repair shop. Upon entering Rodriguez Tire & Muffler, I was meet by a mechanic who took my truck out for a test drive. Then a second person ( I think the person was the owner) took it out for another test drive. I was told all the truck needed was a tune-up and brake job on the rear brakes. I told the person (David) in the office to give me a call after the tune-up and let me know how things are going and he did. I was told in about another hour the brakes would done and they were. Tune-up included: Dist cap, rotor, spark plugs and wires, PVC valve & air filter and I had also told them to replace the fuel filter while they where there. The rear drum brakes included: Pads and new drum brake wheel cylinders both sides. ( Drums did not need to be resurfaced ) I am very pleased with the estimate, the service and the short amount of time it took to complete. I will be bringing my truck back for more items shortly - like the front brakes and a new catalytic converter. Back on the road again!

the honesty and good work of these guys. But since I payed $600 for my rack n pinion replacement my car has had a real loud continuous squeaking noise when I turn the wheel or drive. It sounds like metal rubbing. So I looked under the car to see that they had cut a part of the frame in two places trying to replace the rack n pinion. When I took it to ask them about the cut n weld and the squeaking. They had found a bolt that didnt match. Who ever did the rack n pinion, put in the wrong bolt n stripped out the threads. So I unknowingly waited an hour as they tapped n died a new bolt in place. Then told me the newly replaced cv axle was making the noise. So I payed the labor again to replace the warranted cv axle. Still the car squeaks, now they say its the two year old strut that they replaced and will cost me another $65. So you tell me. Should I still trust them?

Took my spindles in to have bearings pressed in. They were very fast about it and did a good job on one side. My driver side however makes a terrible scream when Im turning my wheels. Took it back to them to see if they would press the one side out and reinstall for proper fitment between the bearing and bearing seal. Said I would have to take my spindle back off for them to work on. They quoted me for spindles on and off the truck, which is why I removed them myself. Im a mechanic and I would always stand by my work and rarely if its messed up where I work it will be done proper at no cost or hassle to the customer. Taking my truck to potranco automotive from here on out. For it to be fixed the first time and if not stand behind their work.

This shop has helped me in the last couple of years with small fixes at a very reasonable price. They even fixed a bent rim for free. I was in need of two new tires so went to Rodriguez this time. They had the tires I wanted in less than 24 hours and I took the car to them and I was out the door in less than 20 minutes. The price was also about the same as the larger stores. When you mix the friendly service, fast turn-around and reasonable price this the place to go for tires. They also do state vehicle/motorcycle inspections. Another plus is this is a small family owned business. If your maintenance might take longer this is still a great place since you have Linas restaurant across the street where you can grab a nice lunch.

Had brought all my cars to this company only to realize shortly after that the work had been done improperly or not done at all. The most recent time I brought my van in and they allowed me to bring in my own brake pads for them to install. I bought high grade brakes and 4 months later they I take my van back and they tell me my new brakes are bad and need to be replaced. Same brand I had previously drove from east to west coast and back with no problems for over 2 years. Most recently I had a flat tire, went to remove the tire to only have 3 of 5 lug nuts break off with bolts inside due to tech cross threading from when they inspected my brakes. Stay away. You pay for what you get and sometimes not get.

Very honest and reliable mechanics. Weird right? Polo is awesome and a straight shooter. His prices almost always beats the competitors and the quality of work has never left me questioning if the work will last. The number 1 reason Ill continue to bring my vehicles here is because he values his customers and knows most by name. Whenever I bring my vehicles he always gears me by my name. That means a lot to me. I never feel like another dollar in this guys eye. Highly recommend doing business with these guys!

Worst costumer service ever. Had to come 3 times to just get a simple oil change. It looked like the soccer game was on was more important to them than getting their job done, it wouldnt be a surprise if this place closed down. Makes you wonder if the owner, or owners, know how sadly there company is being run. They should work more on their customer service, thats one of the key things in any business. Something is surely missing here.

I took my truck as I noticed a water leak for repairs. Not only did they fix it but they also quoted two different rates to a small oil leak that another repair shop had mentioned 6 months earlier. Not only did they fix my water leak at a great price, the quotes for the small oil leak is very reasonable without the pressure of saying that it had to be done that day.
