CMB was the contractor for our builder, and theyre horrible! Beware of CMB! They talk a big game, take notes, but all that was agreed to is forgotten and theres no follow through to completion. They dont mark their prewiring so youll be more reliant on them to finish completing the install. Their wiring was always too short, so we had to run additional cat 5 wires. Even if you have a warranty issue, they wont correct their mistakes in good faith either! They even messed up the basic wiring. Last year, we asked for assistance to correct the issue, and CMB points to the builder and points to the vague set of plans which dont show specific placement details! When you show them your set of plans, its dismissed as if its not official. Ive talked to another couple last month who seem to have experienced a similar issue, so its more common than whats on their Google reviews. We fully expected decent craftmanship when choosing to build our dream home in Southlake, and got CMB instead; who seemingly are all about money and not customer satisfaction. From my experience, theyre excuse driven and quick to try and charge you more for work that shouldnt be your responsibility had they just done the work right to begin with! Of course, any work they offer is suppose to be at a special price; but still an added cost that you should not have to absorb! Just read the recent reviews of others, and decide for yourselves.

Be aware of this company. When i asked a service call for replacing sockets at the ceiling light, office offered me a free estimation that technician come out and see, as i am a family member (annual membership, i think). Then technician (Alex) came out and see the problem and told me it is not a problem of socket, but just light bulb. He said all i need to is replacing light bulb to LED, that is it. Then all of sudden, he told me i owed him $150 for the service. I told him that office offered me a free estimation, but i didnt order anything yet. He said he worked on it few minute to check and solve the problem, so i needed to pay. I told him that i would not pay until i talk to his office to find the details, since it is different from what i was told. Then he was all of sudden upset and threatened me and said "if i dont pay now, he will not move and will call the police!" I was totally shocked on his comments. i couldnt talk to him any more. So i just called the office to report and see what is going on there. I was also asking what is between the estimation and the actual work. She said there is a fine line, but it was obvious that the technician just worked without proper notice. All in all, i would not recommend this company, especially be aware of that technician, Alex. He is just so bad.

Save yourself the hassle and DO NOT use them for security. The ipFOB app they have sucks! I can never logon to arm or disarm my system. We use the landline free system, where they use the cell towers to provide service. The alarm panel never indicates there is an issue; however, our alarm was set off by our kids and C&B never called to make sure it wasnt a false alarm. They never called because my system had a "loss of remote supervision"; we discovered this in July of 2015. Unbeknownst to us, the issue started in December of 2014. We had on and off service during that time and the "Yellow triangle" C&B claims will come on when there is an issue NEVER came on! This is unacceptable! During the service call in July they had to replace the cell device inside my house. Here we are again 2 months later and the "loss of remote supervision" is happing again! 12:42 a.m. "loss of remote supervision" and the remote supervision wasnt restored until 9:16 a.m. Therefore, if we had an emergency between those hours C&B would never dispatched anyone! Unfortunately, for us we pre-paid for a year of monitoring service. Now I am hoping we only signed a 1 year contract; time to pull out the paperwork! C&B you SUCK!

if i could give 0 stars i would, 5 months ago they came out and tried not fix my light swiches thru out my house due to them popping when i turned them off. after arguing with them they fixed half of them but not the other half. a supervisor was suppose to contact me about the issue but never did. i have been trying to get in contact with a manager to get the problem fixed but no response. they say its a common problem although its never happened at my previous houses. the switches they did fix dont pop any more but they still refuse to swich out the others. i try to support local companies but this is a very poor company and i do not recommend them at all. stay away from them and use someone else.

The job was replacing 3 flood arms. It took the electrician approximately one hour. Total charge was $321.5. I called the company to ask for an explanation, the manager returned my call after one week and he was very angry when I told him about my complaint. CONSUMER BE CAUTIOUS. That was a ripoff. It is not a matter of money but a matter of principle. Hate to be ripped off. The 3 arm holders actual cost around $12. You figure out the cost per hour paid for labor. One note, the company was so nice to drop the visit charge of $65. This is unreal. How did I hear about them? Best Pick Report (Quality Home Services Guide). Hope this gives an idea about the business of this company.

I purchased a home and upgraded to double light land fan switches. I get ready to install a new ceiling fan and the box In the ceiling is not through the drywall and only has two small drywall screws holding a bent bracket. I called C&B to fix the issue. They send a tech out and he brings in a new box. The box has a half inch rim around it for the drywall to be cut out around it. Rather than cutting the drywall out and lowering the box he put two bigger screws in and called it fixed. The box is still above the ceiling and not cut out correctly. Nice work! Not! I guess I have to do it myself to get it done right!!

Where do I start. They do not take responsibility for their own mistakes. Built my house and I guess Ashton wood have a contract with them so C&B then installed my electrical wires and you would never guess what happened. Theyre missing a wire for my coach lights. Call them out and the 1st technicians screws up even more. Then I call AGAIN. And the second technician had the rudest attitude and didnt even bother to fix the issue. Terri who is one of the assistants there, doesnt care about the issue at all. All she cares about is "we didnt get paid the first time." Sooner or later you wont be getting paid at all.
