This place is a joke, they give you tootsie roll candies, also free pizza. are they trying to not help you loose weight so you can keep going with no results. Also not free weight squat machine, no bench press, only free weights there are is some dumbbells. I cant work out chest on a smith machine since i feel i am not centered enough and I feel like one side is overworking more than the other which can result in injury. I gave it two stars because I like how everything is new and clean and the tanning and massage area.

Great value no frills gym with membership rates of $10 or $20 per month. Plenty of cardio equipment, the treadmills are life fitness brand which is the same brand used at higher end gyms. They also have 30 minute and 12 minute individual circuits in lieu of scheduled classes. No swimming pool, racquetball courts, or sauna unfortunately. What they lack in amenities they make up for in superb decoration. The free tootsie rolls are a nice touch, but the "spa & tanning" machines are not worth it.

Went in to ask about what the gym offers today at about 2:30pm. they had 3 pepole at the counter no one even asked if they could help me or my son I had to ask for a brochure of what services they offer because i was thinking about switching. From golds gym becase the one in harlingen dosnt have a pool like Brownsvilles but since no one wanted to help me they made the decision pretty easy f no!

No internet coverage in all the GYM, the body Massage machine broke in 1 month, Not much manual equipment. The staff was kind and gave apology for the broken equipment, and no coverage of Wifi... I would like to workout with Music, the staff asked me to come workout close to entrance, I felt really Bad..

I went to sign up but ended up leaving since no came to assist me.... talk about bad service considering others had already signed up and left but I was just there waiting like an idiot for 40min with no one coming to give me a status update.

Staff was friendly and didnt "ignore anyone" for any amount of time. Was promptly helped, and given info needed.
