BAD! I set up a tour for a weekday afternoon for my son and daughter. They knew I was coming. The front office lady was nice enough, but not professional at all. When we walked into the first area, all I could see was clutter everywhere. It looked like things were crammed into every available space and it was extremely unorganized. The first classroom we walked into - the toddler room - was worse. More clutter, and CHEMICALS on the FLOOR within reach of the kids. Im talking spray bottles with cleaner on the floor, some overturned. There was one teacher in the room with about 9 kids. Next the pool. nice play area, but very dirty. Yes, it had been raining, but it was full of leaves and dirt. No splash pad at this location. Nice playgrounds, inside and out. I was pleased with that, but did not get to see the interaction of the staff and the kids when I was there. The "soda shop" or kitchen area that the kids visit is much smaller than the picture. It was also VERY DIRTY. There were overturned drink containers and a bag of who knows what on the counter. No one in sight. No one cleaning it up. Again, these people knew I was coming and they didnt bother to clean up at all. I asked the woman giving the tour about sanitation. She said they cleaned after each session and all the toys were sanitized daily, as well as a cleaning staff for evenings. I saw no evidence of this, as the entire place was filthy. I didnt even let go of my daughters hand. Additionally, the field trips that your kids HAVE to go on are not included in the cost. Two a week, at 10-15 a pop is an unpleasant increase in what is already expensive childcare. Overall, do not take your kids here. for the cost, hire a nanny. Not worth it, and not a safe clean environment. I was very dissapointed.

My daughter is only 18 months and this is the second day care she has gone to full time and we both LOVE it. I had her enrolled in another daycare (which was more expensive) which had excellent ratings on here but once they didnt give my 8 month old anything to drink or eat for 6 HOURS, I came to Country Home hoping there was going to be a change, and there was. Not only did they give her, her bottle but they introduced solids to her and she was eating food like crazy after just one week. She has had no problem with the food and they say she usually goes for seconds. They definitely have a larger toy selection than the other place and recently they got alot of new toys and equipment for the kids. She doesnt get sick as often as she did at the other place, and I have had no problem with any of the teacher. Here are a few of my opinions regarding this daycare. 1. Parking can be bad at times, but I have seen and been to alot worse. Walking never hurts anyone. I usually never have a difficult time finding parking. 2. Tuition is not bad, after a lot of research regarding tuition Country Home is quite fare, considering they have more equipment and room than most daycares. 3. The daycare tends to have a little smell but if you think about it, its a DAYCARE, usually kids dont always smell like daisies. 4. If my child has gotten dirty at day care and you do have extra clothes for them to change into the teacher will change them. If you dont bring extra clothes for your kid dont blame the school blame yourself.

So Far, A Good Experience. I have two Pre-K daughters currently attending this facility. Having recently looked at 6 different Daycares, and having had my kids enrolled in 3 of them, this is the best facility theyve attended. Ive spent a total of 2 hrs over 3 seperate visits, watching how the teachers interacted with the kids, and what kind of activites theyve enjoyed and have been happy with what Ive seen. There is a large variety of activites and opportunities for play, (for my kids at least) age appropriate teaching--so not just free play, and Ive seen them eat carrots, broccoli, cheese, etc...and on a "party day" cookies. The same types of food I see them eat at home. The teachers vary...and here Id lower my rating to 4 stars if I could. Not all teachers are equal, and after relating a concern I had with my youngest childs overly negative teaching environment (shes 3 and the teacher appeared overwhelmed by 8 kids and was constantly and innefectually yelling by the group), they promptly moved her to a new teacher who did an awesome job. The ratio can be high 8-10 to 1, but was no worse than anywhere else we took our kids. As for price, Country Home is about $200 a month more expensive than the other places we looked at, but my wife and I think its been worth it. A splash pool with, 3 seperate playgrounds, a computer room, a "commons" with an abundance of toys...etc. For our young kids, we have been pleased (so far). 4.5 Stars

My 2-year-old has been with CHLC since he was 12 weeks old, and I could not imagine a more desirable place for my precious boy to be during my work day. From the front door, to inside the classroom, the staff, the structure, and policies are 100% on point. I love this place, as does my son, and especially considering all the horror stories you hear about today involving childcare facilities, there is not a single doubt in my mind that my son is being well cared for in the most upstanding manner. When there has ever been a concern, on the side of my son, communication has always been open and welcome. There are always fun activities and play in progress as well as implementing education. Dont even get me started with all the "extra" perks this place has to offer. Probably better to check the website to get them all. Honestly, one of the biggest things that struck me from the beginning (and still does) was that even on an impromptu tour towards the end of the day, every classroom I was peeking in, every teacher had a smile on their face and looked like they genuinely wanted to be there and you could feel that from the children. Even after 2+ years, no worries from this mom and happily flourishing toddler. Four thumbs up.

I worked here for a short time. It was pretty bad. Everything looks good but thats because your kids will not be using the facilities as promised. Place is overall dirty. Look in toys for grime and old food. Uncertified teachers. No curriculum followed, despite claims. The teacher I served with believed in corporal punishment. She claimed, "it was the only real way to teach children." She engaged in spanking and yelling on a regular basis. Potty training consists of closing students into a dark bathroom until they can produce urine. Cries are ignored. Students are not allowed to go outside for various asinine reasons. The steps for disinfecting between diaper changes are not followed and the cups are moldy and unwashed. Be VERY careful of this place. I would not allow my children to go here. I found a nice in-home daycare that provides excellent care. Look around parents...these establishments are not what theyre cracked up to be.
