I have been working here for about three weeks and already have so many problems with this place. For one, to work at any daycare, you must be CPR and First Aid certifide. The lady they turn you to gives you a ten minute overview of CPR and First Aid, tells you to read the rest of the packet at home, checks off each individual box with the caption "Has successfully completed three hours of training," hands you your CPR license, and send you on your way. Parents, the directors of this particular KinderCare are aware of this! Unless an employee makes a personal decision to take a full training class of CPR and First Aid, this is how every employee is trained! And what happens if there is a real emergancy? The lady who is responsible for this ridiculous "training" is soon to be reported. Another thing I have a problem with is that they do not allow you to hold the children for a long period of time. Because children can get attached easily, especially in an uncomfortable environment, they try to steer away from this. Too often have I seen a two-year-old cry for hours because he or she is missing mommy or daddy. The caretaker is merely allowed to give the short comfort of a hug or a pat on the arm, but is not allowed to spend one-on-one time with the child. When a child is this young, one of the most important parts of their proper developement is to be allowed to attach themselves to an adult figure! Of course they are attached to mommy and daddy, but when they spend eight to twelve hours a day with a stranger, they especially need at least one or two people there to show them love! The children do not get the attention or care they really need. Other than these things that effect the clients, the directors are very unprofessional with the employees, as well. There are more things than what I have mentioned, but these were the two that bugged me the most. Do your children a favor and place them in a better preschool.

I have been at the Mossrock location for a couple of years now. There was a time of inconsitency with staff and management. You didnt really know who was in charge. As a parent or visitor you would walk in and would not be acknowledged. However in the past 3 months, I have felt a big difference in both the staff and in how my children learn. There has been a change once again in management but I beleive this has been a change for the best. The director and his assistant are always visible and interact with everyone especially the children. They know every childs name as they walk in the building and that says alot considering there are alot. Mossrock is a great center and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for great child care.

My son had NEVER been in daycare. He was baby sat by a family friend while I worked at a local childcare in California. 2 years ago we made the move to San Antonio where i was hired to work at MOSSROCK and I couldnt of been any more HAPPIER as an parent of a 2 year old in the discovery preschool class. He started in the infant room. Hes grown so much and development is behond his level. As of today he talks alot. Potty training. Friends and teachers love him. Without the love and support from everyone and the love they show my son I AM THE HAPPIEST MOTHER EVER... The management is THE BEST . Stressfree, loving and open arms center. I LOVE IT....

This is a really good daycare. The staff is always so great with all 3 of my babies they do more than their jobs and show them love and patience. Their always so happy to see them every single day and my kids always come home happy and energetic. Ive even popped in unannounced just to assure myself that my kids were being treated and cared for right and i am impressed with what ive seen. I know i made the best decision for my kids when i placed them here a year ago!!

This is one of the best child care facilities we have been in! The staff and the activities are definitely top notch. Thank you Mr. Keith, Miss. Samantha, Miss. Linda, Mr. Isiah, & Miss. Lucy from the bottom of my heart. You guys made this a wonderful summer. Although I may not have had the pleasure of meeting the other staff, I want to thank them as well for making this an exceptional facility. We are looking forward to next summer camp already!

This is the worst daycare Ive ever seen they allow children to go there with headlice!! The director says that as long as the bug it self is not found in the childrens that its fine but the kids are allowed to have the nits and eggs in there hair I wouldnt recommend sending your kids to this daycare period! !!!
