Im sure this place is great for waxing or eyebrow threading, but do NOT go there to get your hair done. I came in to get some highlights and they put a CAP on my head and started pulling strings out. Which professional hair salon still uses a cap to do highlights? Ive been getting highlights for the past 7 years and every hair salon used foils, except this one. After that I had to sit underneath the hair steamer for a while, which is not very healthy for your hair. The highlights came out weak and I had a few dots on top of my hair (Anisa blamed it on me because I was moving underneath the hair steamer, but I was so hot- I had to grasp for air). The worst thing though was that I grew my hair out for a very long time and I only wanted 2 inches to be taken off, but they cut 10-12 inches off. I walked out crying because my hair was so short. My mistake was that I liked the haircut that was portrayed on a poster, but the girl on the poster had much shorter hair than me, so they cut it exactly like the girl had it on the poster, but I just wanted her haircut and NOT her hair length. Anyway, Anisa is a very nice lady and she tries hard to please her customers, but my experience was just bad.

I have been going to this salon for a whole year now, but thinking no more can I do this. On two separate occasions this salon managed to give me first degree burns. First, it happened when I went in for a face bleach. I mentioned to the lady who was applying the stuff on me that it was burning. She dismissed my concerns, and as a result I had first degree burns which was in September 2016. Second, it happened when I went in for regular waxing appointment. The lady applied very hot wax and was not skilled enough, as a result I had first degree burns on my underarms! This was in March 2017. This is just very sad. I like the ladies here but they are not skilled and just want to get the job done.

I found out about Anisa through my sister who highly recommended her. I got eyebrow threading done (very reasonable price $6 total) and my sis got a fabulous haircut. She did a wonderful job with my eyebrows (I have tried at least 4 different people before her but no one would ever get my eyebrows right!) Anisa is just wonderful - she is great at handling her customers, treats them with the utmost respect, is loyal to appointments and makes sure she can get you in and out of her salon if you are in a hurry. All in all - I give her 5 stars and two thumbs up! You must go here :)

Where do I start. I had a terrible experience at another local salon on Hillcroft which I cannot name...but this place made me forget my bad experience. I went it for for a lip waxing and and older employee just poured wax on my lip and left a terrible burn mark on it which lasted a few weeks. I came to anisa and she gave me a special cream and did upper lip threading carefully around the burnt area and made me feel very special. Im a customer for life! Thanks a ton :) Henna Mansoor

I have got something like a tradition once per month to go for a facial massage. Thats why I can say I have visited many spa centers in searching the best place in Houston. From a several months I visit only Anisa Beauty Salon Parlor - Threading & Waxing. The people there are so kind and the massage is just amazing. :) So, if you are searching for a place with a nice atmosphere and unmatched professionalists you should already know which is the right place in Houston, TX.

Dont really like this place. Took to long to just to trim hair. The person who trimmed my hair just too friendly . Talks a lot and ask lots of questions too. I asked how much for trimming ,she said $12.00 because my hair was not very long but when I gave her $20.00 she returned only $5.00. I did not ask why but just walked off with my change , made a promise to myself not to ever visit this place ever again even though its very2 near to my place.

Anisa did my makeup for my court house wedding and I looked absolutely fabulous. On the drive on the way to the court house my husband said that I looked like a "pretty doll." And he doesnt usually like girls in makeup! She made sure I looked as natural as possible but also looked good in photos. My hair was also amazing! The whole day and night my hair-styling was perfect! Thank you Anisa!

This place is a definite go to when it comes to threading eyebrows. My first time was today and it was amazing! I love everything.. how they attended me, their compliments, and even the way she threaded my eyebrows. They did not hurt at all and before when Id get them done they hurt way too much and wasnt even worth the pain.

I have done my eyebrow threading here. The service is very good and the threading is done carefully. I also had my facial by Anisha. I am very happy with her wonderful work. I would recommend this place for nice threading and facials. Also, the price is very reasonable. I think this is the best parlor in Houston.
