Hands down the best CrossFit gym in Katy, TX. The facility is super nice and very well kept. Equipment is nice and always clean. The squat rack is huge and there are plenty of barbells so you never have to share (unless you want to). Its got locker rooms, showers, and a pro shop with clothes, damn good coffee and tons of supplements. Breakfast and lunch too if youre on the go. The owners got Olympic platforms and most of his coaches are CrossFit Level 2. Like I said, the best CrossFit box in Katy!

I came to check out this box last year for the Open because it was highly recommended. Living in Cypress and working in the Willowbrook area, I came with the decision that I was NOT going to sign up for a box on the opposite side of town when I have several near my home. Ive been here a year now and I must say, HIPPO is worth my drive! The coaches, programming and the vibe of this place and the "herd" is simply amazing! Plus this place is clean AF!

Georges story is motivating. It is so encouraging to see a crossfit trainer come from a life changing experience through crossfit. He is always willing to help, looks for suggestions, and a humble coach. His facility is clean and well maintained and George has added the small touches to the gym itself that makes his box stand out from the rest. Definitely going to be going to this gym for a long time to come.

This is a great gym, very clean, friendly staff and members, and motivating. I had never done crossfit before in my life and now that I have experienced it here at Crossfit Hippo I love it. I recommend this gym to all that really want to get fit. BTW the trainers are motivating and just great at what they do.

Ive had some drop-in classes with a colleague during a business trip, and it turned out great. Being a complete novice to cross-fit I had all the help from the trainer to get the exercises right and safe, select the correct weight, etc. Five starts - it was well worth giving it a try.

By far the best CrossFit box in Houston. Great coaches motivating you to push past what you ever thought was possible. Top of the line facility with SHOWERS! Welcoming environment by staff and other members makes it easier to take those first steps into the gym.
