I brought a brand new comforter to get washed before I started using it. I came three days later and it is completely ruined. To start the fabric looks distressed has if it was dried with high heat and the filling was flat in some parts and balled up in others, which is another indicator that is was dried on high heat. I asked the lady at the front "what method did they use to wash this comforter?" And she replied "they followed whatever is on the label". After opening the comforter I noticed numerous stains and marks that look as if it were stepped on or maybe caught in the drier. I pointed them out and she said they were already there. This is a brand new, never used, comforter! Then she starts to claim that they didnt put it in a dryer but in fact hung it up to dry. I called her out about her mins earlier claiming they did what was on the label but now she miraculously knew they hanged it up to dry! Total BS! Now Im not going to act as if this was some very expensive comforter, because it wasnt, but I brought it here because I felt they would have the washer/dry capacity (and general know how) to wash the comforter effectively without damaging it. I payed 30 dollars for them to destroy a brand new comforter and then accuse me of bringing it to them like that. Ive been bringing my dry cleaning here for the past 8 months. Why would I scam them over a 100 dollar comforter?
