I was so pleased to discover this lovely bakery in my hood! I like to grab an croissant from here when Im making soup, they have the perfect level of chew without cutting the roof of your mouth. I have also enjoyed their quiche as well as their croissants. Everything has been wonderful so far and the owners are super friendly which is why French Gourmet Bakery, is as good as it gets.

Ive been buying breads and cakes here for years. They have absolutely the best chocolate cake and italian cream cake in Houston. Im only sad that they dont make wedding cakes (apparently they used to many years ago). They use the freshest ingredients and REAL butter, not lard, and icings are so creamy and delicious. Their breads are divine also.

FGB catered our infant grandsons welcome reception for approximately 45 family & friends. The food was delicious and generous potions for each item. Would definitely use their services again. Thanks for your professionalism and good service with exceptional food.

Undoubtedly the worst baguette weve ever had. Over-priced and devoid of any flavor whatsoever. Havent tried anything else there so can only speak to the bread, but will opt for any other bakeries or even HEB before going back there for a "French baguette" again.

Simply the best! A family-owned and operated bakery that makes the best breads and sweet treats. From their cookies, croissants and cakes, you cant go wrong. My family has been coming here for our baked goods for over 30 years and have never been disappointed!

As a French in Houston, stopped here to feel back home. Was not disappointed! Sandwich tasted just like in Paris. The croissants with bacon and cheese are not typically French but also good. Will come back for the "galette des rois".

Most delicious chocolate grooms cake ever! Beautiful and delicious wedding cake as well. French Gourmet flavors can not be beat. Lauren is accommodating and a pleasure to work with.
