I found this place by doing a search on the net and reading the ratings and comments people had posted. This was the third shop we took the car to, to have it diagnosed. It was having a transmission problem and I wanted to make certain that it wasnt a minor component causing the car to go into limp mode. The first mechanic we took the car to gave us an estimate of what was probably wrong, but said he didnt want to mess with it. I then found a second shop who specializes in our particular make and model and we took the car to them. They diagnosed it and charged us $80 just for that and quoted us something like $3,200.00 to fix it! The car isnt even worth that much. So I searched online and found Transmission Plus Quality Auto Repair on the net and called them. We then took the car to them and they called us within about a day with the diagnosis and cost of repair. It took them only 3 days to do a transmission rebuild just as they promised and we picked the car up. They gave us a 1 year warranty on the repair, which was good because we wound up having to take it back within a few days because it started acting up again. They kept their word and got the car fixed right with no questions ask. Its been running great ever since. I was a bit skeptical by the fact that they had such glowing recommendations, but what struck me was that there isnt even one bad rating. After our dealings with them, I have to say that the other ratings are accurate. Their shop is impressively clean and they are extremely nice, decent people. I cant leave anything but a good rating for this shop. I will definitely recommend them to others and will take my vehicles whenever they need to be repaired. Oh and I almost forgot to mention that they charged us approximately half of what the second shop quoted us.

Ive been to this shop a few times now for different things. I have not once had a bad experience with Transmission Plus. They are honest, timely, and competitively priced. They go that extra mile to see that you are taken care of. Its a locally owned and family operated business, and everyone there is very professional. They rebuilt my transmission and drive shaft, replaced my broken rear view mirrors on both sides, corrected my front end suspension problem, and fixed my driver side wheel bearing issue. Once I found myself on the side of the road and I gave them a call and they were able to tow my truck and I back to the shop and start the repairs right away. You just dont easily find that kind of customer service anymore. Oh and did, I mention they send coupons and discounts in the mail pretty regularly? Also they like to do follow up e-mails after the repairs are done. Transmission Plus FTW!!!

I wish I could give 0 stars. I went here to get an estimate on how much my bumper would cost to get fixed. The representative came outside, look at my vehicle, and took me back inside to give me the rundown. However, prior to coming to this shop, the car was inspected by someone from my insurance company who gave me an estimate. This estimate included ALL NEW parts, amount of labor required and its estimated cost which totaled about $1500. Therefore, I was expecting a price in this range. However, the gentlemen gave me an estimate of more than $1000, giving me a total amount in excess of $2500. I called back and asked why the estimate given was so much higher and no explanation could be given. I am unsure whether they gave me this price because I am young and a woman, however, I knew automatically that I was being cheated and do not appreciate it. Find somewhere else to go!!!

I purchased a 99 Ford Explorer XLT in Dec of 2009. While I thought I was getting a good deal from the seller, I found that I have some maintenance items that needed to be repaired....Tune-up, Brakes, etc. I went to another shop just to compare prices and Quality Auto was hundreds lower than the competition! The shop is clean as a whistle, inside and out. Gonzalo personally does Quality Control on most vehicles before they leave the repair bay. I havent had any problems with my vehicle since purchase. Thats in large part due to Quality Auto. They identify whats needed, but not whats possibly needed. You dont pay for hundreds of dollars of extra stuff, like when they upsell you at Firestone. Jonathan is very professional and courteous. I have found my shop for the future. They will have my business for years to come.

G-man Auto was the second repair shop I brought my car to for transmission repairs because the first shop mis-diagnosed the problem. As soon as I walked in, I noticed a clean and organized waiting area. Gonzalo (G-man) immediately introduced himself, was very friendly and seemed genuinely concerned about customer service. I needed a ride to work that morning, and G-man happily offered me a ride. Just a few hours later, I received a thoughtful diagnosis, explanation, and repair options without any pressure. Not only did they complete the repairs effectively and on-time, they also washed my car. All around customer service from all members of G-man Auto staff was top notch. I will be recommending this shop to all my friends and family.

I have been taking vehicles to G-Man for about 10 years now and I wouldnt go anywhere else. Theyre efficient in getting people in and out in a timely manner, but the biggest thing for me is their honesty about what your car really needs. When a problem is identified, they take the time to help customers understand what exactly is causing the problem and what is needed to fix the issue. A number of times a VW dealership I went to was pushing a service/repair. I would always take my car to G-Man for a second opinion. For the times that G-Man recommend the service/repair that the VW dealership was pushing, G-Man performed the service for significantly less than the dealer quoted. Save money and time, go to G-Man.

This is one of those reviews where the service is so great you literally want to write the review before you leave the establishment. I stopped in Saturday mid-morning because my car would vibrate at an accelerated speed I knew for sure I needed brake pads, but wanted to be sure(I like many others read all of the positive reviews and decided to give it a shot). Im greeted by G-mans son Jonathan, who listens, checks out my car, and instantly quote me on the best pricing youll find for brake pads and new rotors! Even though I didnt have an appointment he let me know he could easily fit me in and within an hour I was done. Great service! Great work! Great everything! You have a lifelong customer....

G-Man Automotive is BY FAR THE BEST car service shop I have ever been to. And that is coming from someone who has had a lot of car issues in the past UNTIL I came here. Gonzalo (the owner) is such a great guy and cares about helping out his customers more than making the money. Dont go to NTB, or any other chain car service places. They are a money pit and dont have near the amount of expertise that Gonzalo and his team has. On my last visit, Gonzalo even made a recommendation that I dont fix something with him since I was about to sell the car.
